Heat purge issue

I am new to make concentrate. After I blast my initial run and let all of the butane evaporate at room temperature which is 90° in Louisiana. I scrape it up and put it on a small gel pad , and place it on a induction cooktop at 100° after about two hours it starts to dry up and inform little pinholes . Am finish purging butane at this point ?

Never scrape it up out of the container you blasted into, unless you plan to vac purge, you lose your biggest advantage of product to surface area ratio. If you scrape it early into another container to continue purging it your effectively trapping more butane, and ensuring that it can't find a way out. You want it spread around equally as thin as possible for at least 1 hour at 110° longer for larger runs, especially if your only using heat to purge.

Dab testing can tell you a lot....

Can I do that if I am blasting directly on to parchment paper? Let me see if I got this right, if I blast onto my parchment paper and let it dry completely no liquid just bubbles . Then I should set it at 110° for one hour?

Roughly, as I said use the dab melt test, if it doesn't melt clean continue purging, just try not to let it gather together in a big pool / pools ....

Hard to tell you without a picture, I'm assuming that what you ran simply auto buddered. Just smoke it up. Should have a good flowery natural taste, nothing chemical. If you don't like the budder form try a winterize step after purging the butane

How do I do the dab? test

I assume the dab test is testing how much it sizzles when the oil hits the nail.
More sizzle = more butane (or it could equal more moisture in the product or a few other things but it's usually considered that sizzle is a sign of residual butane remaining in your product)

That method, while slightly effective, can be very misleading and lead to incorrect conclusions... The best way to do the dab test is with a dab at the end of the dabber, use a butane torch to lightly apply heat directly to the dab. Ideally what your looking for is an even clean residue free melt, no fire works, popping, or anything otherwise reacting violently, as this is a characteristic of the butane, which obviously you don't want in there

That seem to work very well after two hours in a toaster oven I have a very dry crumbly almost like dust residue that good? I then scraped up all of it put it into a pile and put it back under the heat it's melted together into one cohesive dark chocolate translucent lump
