Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

So far I fried a 2.4ohm at 7.4v and a 1.5 at 3.7ohm
What did you expect? You put twice the voltage to the 2.4 Ω cart as it's capable of taking! The Omicron batteries come off the charger at 4.2V that's the maximum you should use with a 2.4 Ω cartridge.

The 1.5 Ω cart can be used at the same voltages but with very short button presses! I always told my friends 2 second pulses but you can go a little bit longer. With the Core you can dial down the voltage much lower so you could do longer presses on the 1.5 Ω cart!

If you have an HVD top then you can run above 4.2 V. You could get a 5 Ω cart and run at 7.4V! Again - button tapping not holding with those high powered setups.

Hi G will the upcoming Protank heads feature a porous ceramic wick (like in the Ti KISS Cart), or a braided silica wick like regular Protank heads? It would be very cool getting Titanium coils!

It's silica wick. Others call it with a different name like glass wick or what ever they want but it's silica.

I only tried it because the vaporpedi said I could run a 2.4 at 7.4

in all fairness to @havock69 the entry at [vaporpedia link removed due to malware] lists combinations that are safe for the Persei head, but are clearly unsafe for the Omicron Cartridge itself. That page should be cleaned up to clarify that.

Hey guys,
I got bored so I made some stands for my KISS carts, Okeanos, & bender out of water bottle lids and a steak knife. It keeps the oil on the coil and ready to go. I used a Gatorade lid and a pen the same diameter of the bender to display it upright and safe. I use 2 different colors for volts.

Then I modified the useless dual 14250 omicron end cap so I could use a single 14650 and have a bottom for the omicron and one for the HVD SS kit. I simply cut it with a cutoff wheel at the threads, removed the screw, and took out the spring.

I stuck a small screw driver through the hole and held tension on the spring with vise grips as I loctited the spring to the bottom cap.

now I have an omicron and a "minicron" that both have bottoms! Works great! The bottle caps makes working on the KISS coils easier too.

Just thought I'd share.

I bought a thread adapter kit from W9tech directly so I could use KISS carts on my 510 threaded devices, but the adapter doesn't fit on any of my things. The 510 threading on the adapter has like three giant threads on it whereas all the rest of my devices have many more/finer threads, so it won't even screw on.

has anyone else experienced this, should i try a adapter from somewhere else or are they all like this? i used to have a M601 to 510 thread adapter i bought on classifieds, eventaully sold it, but it definitely fit on my 510 threaded devices.

Thanks very much for the quick reply man. here are some photos of the kiss cart w/ appropriate thread adapter next to my 510 threaded ecig tank.

For the record, i did put a 510 threaded device in the other adapter to make sure i used the right one ;)

as to not clutter the thread with unrelated photos, i'll link them:

kayfun attached to my 510 battery: http://i.imgur.com/8EAa8cv.png
510 adapter being unable to thread on battery: http://i.imgur.com/EncNCMG.png

And this is the one I bought, at the time i bought it the other thread adapter wasn't up for sale, or if it was i must have missed it.

The CO2 oil I am using works great in CE4 tanks, but would love to get a better tasting cart.

If it works with ce4's it should work with the mt4. But you have to understand that the wick is on the bottom this means you have to be aware if some things like leaving the cart in a hot spot, or other things. But the mt4 we tested have yet to leak after 2 months of use with ejuice, Once again your experience might vary.

Any reason that Vaporwarehouse sells the Minicron/Omi Lite/OPHOS including the Ti KISS cart whereas W9 only sells them with the regular KISS carts? They appear to have identical pricing.
