I think it's obvious he has plans in his head...

What a beautiful cat! Looks very well taken care of!

I can only take credit for the past two months!

He sure always seems to know when it's Solo time...

I've heard mixed things about cats and herb, but it seems like it's more the smoke that bothers them, not the herb itself. I know the cats I've lived with for years want nothing to do with it, vapor or smoke or raw. But Wilfred seems to come running for it...

Chatty little guy. Good thing too because with the neighbors now fully moved out there's no one to talk to for a couple miles... other than the mountains, of course.

Yeah, I have a few cats and mixed reactions too....
* one has breathing issues, a cough, and vapor has almost taken care of it.
* one wants nothing to do with it at all.
*the other sniffs the air for a minute, then looks at me like this...

I thought this was a really cool pic... until I started thinking. So @pakalolo ... Am I right in that these hatchlings should not be handled?

Wow an albino!

The truth is that we don't know what the effects of handling them are, so it should be avoided. If it is necessary then obviously it should be kept to a minimum. One reason is that we don't know how a turtle "imprints" the beach it hatched from, and some scientists think this happens as they scamper down the beach from the nest. Picking them up could interfere with this process.

Albino turtle hatchlings (this one is a green) aren't as rare as you'd think. In certain parts of the Mediterranean nearly 1% exhibit the trait. This particular picture is from 2009, but I don't recall where.
