Just received this little mini rig:

I can't test it too well right now because I need a better 10mm nail than the one it came with, but I can report that it's a solid, pretty little piece that draws well with, try as I might, no splash back.

It arrived a week after ordering. For those who worry about such things, the tracking still shows it in San Francisco. :) So don't trust the tracking.

What kind of perc does it have? Also were you able to specify color?

I might have to get one of the green ones if I can choose.

the JH017 was delivered today, there are some small bubbles, but nothing to complain about
if there are any other pics or videos you would like to see let me know
imo it hits really nice,hardly any effort

on my double barrel recycler, i fill to just the top of the bottom barrel or a wee bit less

i tried multiple levels of liquid and where it is in the video is just right for me.
would you like me to make another video with more liquid?
just let me a location on the glass to fill it to

the glass i have gotten so far

It is really not bad, people have been eating off SS cookware for a long time and it is one if the safest out there, the person who started the Ti fad I bet it was the only metal he had at hand and that's why he chose to use it.
Titanium is not the only safe metal out there and definitely not grade 2 only.
But enough of this derailment of thread, lets get on with more cheap bubblers.

Damn, looks nice. I think you need a little more water. I usually fill up past the first barrel with my knockoff double barrel.

Message kathy, Sunshine or Yinmin5 these pics and they might be able to source them and then sell them as singles as they have done with a few other pieces. Heck they may buy from this guy and then sell them to us here. :evil:

Got my Mobius back today all repaired. I happened to run into the guy who used to own part of SYN and we got to talking and he offered to fix it for me. I took it over to him and he turned it around in 2 days. Bummer I lost all the "Special Edition" engraving stuff on the base but at least its not in pieces anymore.

Im talking to him about making a recycler in the same vein as Cory and around the same price point. I saw one of his smaller rigs tonight. It vortexed like crazy and the workmanship was top notch. I also asked him to think about a adapter Ive had rolling around in my head. Hopefully Ill have something to show in a week or so.

Real interesting talking to him.. he said frit pieces are notorious for breaking because they're under so much stress due to how they're made. Its cool hearing about these pieces from a "this is how you make it" standpoint.

ordered from sunshinestore last friday, package arrived in canada yesterday and will be here tomorrow!!! so excited, you guys gave me GAS reading the thread. 7 days from china to my door! not bad at all.. very good service from sunshinestore and very helpful. d020-w d020-d d022 and d020-02w will be added to my new collection.. will be splitting with a friend, which 2 should i keep for solo and e nano?

I've gotta say, this thread REALLY spoils you and messes with your perception. Coming from the music world, there are so many parallels to music gear.
I equate the headshop to guitar center. You go and find out what appeals to you, and then go source it from somewhere with a better price.
I bought a hydratube this week, and while I love it, I'm really looking forward to more options from one of these vendors.

If it is, I might try Kathy's store out. If that's no good, it'll be the end of my Chinese excursions:(

sunshinestore and Kathy's store have been steadily providing decent results. Kathy seems to take a few days longer than SS store on shipping, but so far I have all the pieces I have ordered from her within a reasonable time frame. Shady about some of the others... too bad, cause those are some sweet looking pieces.

@tiukauleh The two pieces are just different sizes is the thing; the WP1095 is thicker, taller and has a mobius stereo matrix perc which works very smoothly. The kathy 10 arm is just another thinly blown kathy piece, one of my fav kathy pieces I must say, but quality wise the WP1095 definitely wins. It's funny though you brought those two pieces up, I just recently switched my fritted ash catcher from my WP-1095 to my 10 arm- definitely brought the strength and pull of the 10 arm up a notch xD.

Btoc actually came through with a nice double barrel recycler for me on my end. With the order I made from him, Kathy and Sunshinestore, I remember btoc's and one of sunshine's being first to show up. Btw @ovrez beautiful looking recyclers xD. How similar would you say the JH017 is to the double barrel JH012??

We have to start looking harder at the store front info, this POS has 1 transaction and 0 feedback.Yes to an extent we must extend a bit of faith,but some will not and do not deserve it, nor did they earn it. :\

The D020-2-w is such a great vape piece!

normally I would have to be at work two and a half hours ago but lucky it is a holiday and I am at home enjoying an epic wake and vake session.

This piece is designed perfectly. It is seriously impossible to get any splash because the turbine not only is a great splash guard but spins the opposite direction than the mouthpiece. It is just brilliant.

The size is perfect. The diffusion is fantastic. I keep the water level ever so slightly above the honeycomb. When I take a hit it actually works at both discs. The honeycomb being the main perc but also bubbles some in the turbine. When you clear it with a fast pull it creates a pretty decent turbine action.

I had a female gong made for it because I am sick of adapters. I think if this piece had a female joint you guys would be ordering it like crazy. I just can't say how happy I am with it!

@ma0u, pls excuse me but i always thought those percs for the WP1095 were called tree-percs. sorry if i am mistaken about the terminology, but are we talking abt this wp-1095?
