Snip off some silicone or tubing of choice to keep the glass eq mouthpiece snug in the metal part of the mouthpiece.

If it matters, I've noticed less produced vapor when using a waterpipe and having to hold the FM upside down versus keeping it right side up and using a whip to the WP or having a waterpipe that just works well like that.

Makes sense. I´ve been looking for water pipes or bongs that are build in a specific way that lets you use the Flowermate standing up. Only found the adapter that alows to do it, but shippinp from U.S. costs a lot (and the adapter is expensive too) and i can´t find a similar item in Europe.

Received my flowermate on friday and love it for the price. One thing to note when the mailman handed it to me in parcel and i opened the sealed box minutes later it was on. Oven light was lit and unit was warm to touch. Turned off and put everything back in box and shook box ,flowermate turned on again. No big deal for me as im not putting itback in package ,however keep in mind Got it off ebay and it is a genuine quality item by my opinion

Take it apart! its so fun taking stuff apart. I was discussing with Vapor S. Thompson the batteries. Here is a pick I snagged off Vapor S Thompson to show you there is actually 2 batteries in the compartment. That makes me think it's (2) 2600Mah in there running 5200Mah! I need to look more into this.

I admire your confidence. If i take things apart it always ends as a screwup. Love reading other peoples reviews like yours

my herb chamber lid fell off and won't go back on. The tiny rim on one side broke off into the raceway that it glides in. So after bitching a bit to myself I figured out a REALLY CHEAP way to fix it. I went to my junk mail pile, pulled out one of them BS credit card offers and made a lid out of the fake card. It is the perfect thickness where a real credit card is just a bit too thick.

I don't know how to post a picture so I can't show you guys...but honestly, it actually works BETTER than the original. I traced the lid on a fake credit card, carefully cut out the outline then snapped it into the flowermate.

That's actually my picture. But Egzoset beat me. Maybe I should start clicking his links regardless of the odd ways of how he refers to posts in the past.

I don't recommend taking it apart, there's no need to unless you want to actually fix or modify it. It can be broken easily as the clear wires aren't strong and can easily snap. Not the clear wires with black coating, those are more durable. But if one of the translucent wires break you can either lose your temperature control, so no heat up. Or the on/off functionality in general.

Though looking at the internals gives me many ideas for a better cases. I wish @Ed's TnT would make dugout style shells for it with a properly isolated airpath and slimmer body. But that sounds more expensive than the vape itself.

Thanks to @paytonpenn for the pics!
I couldn't find my pics in all my computer files so I grabbed that one for reference.
I had to take mine apart to assure the vaporizer wasn't unhealthy or letting fumes from the battery or the electronics into the vapor path.
I got to say, I was impressed when I tore into mine, I expected it to be, well, worse. I was impressed at that cost and the way they designed it.
I know what you mean about the wires. I don't think I would recommend taking it apart (unless to fix it) after using it for a while. I do agree those wires are thin going to the oven and could easily break.

Good lookin out! Thank you kind Sir for saving me from looking threw thousands of pictures!

Finally received my unit.
After a burn off and iso cleaning did my first hits.
For confort and portability i prefer the flowermate compared to the mflb. Discrete, fast, effective.
I found it a little hard to draw, some resistence even after removing the ceramic filter. I the removed the metal filter from the mouthpiece as well and it helped a little bit.
Only had a not so very fresh herbs around to test but will get some fresh now.
Will the draw resistence maintain or will "open" with time?

I come from a mflb clone, dakube. Had served me well, but to much hassle with the batteries and the stems, and the all package i had to carry plus learning curve to maximize its use.
This, at first try produced already better results and at second try, blew my mind for the quality of the lavour, the clouds, the consisting hitting hit ( got about 16 solid hits with long draws making nice clouds). After i was finished, my herbs were light brown...still useable for making some recipes or firecrackers.
Anyway, at hit number 4, a smile grew on my face from ear to ear....and it wont go away :)

The vapormax performs best with fresh medicine IMO.

@Vape Dr.

I notest you mentioned it earlier and i just got some fresh herbs, i´m afraid thei´re too fresh though. No drying at all, probably cuted yesterday. Havent tried it yet, but the inside of the bud is so light green...seems the plant should be growing more.
Anyway, how fresh is fresh for you Vape Dr.?
