Is There a Vapor Pen That Doesn't Combust?

I'm looking for a pen where you do not have to put dry blend on the heating element. I have a Pinnacle Pro that Iove, but I'm looking for something more like the G Pen. With the G Pen demo video I saw, you put your botanical directly on the heating coil, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

Good luck - finding a pen that can handle raw herb is impossible. I'm having my doubts if the grasshopper will ever see the light of day.

You're better off getting some concentrate and finding a proper pen for it

Grasshopper looks nice. I'm assuming it's not ready for the masses? I couldn't find it for sale anywhere.

I just ordered the Snoop Dogg G Pen. $45 new, online. Even if it sucks, the accessories looked nice. It's only $45 bones. Saw a demo on YouTube where a dude put a "honeycomb glass screen" over the heating element and said it no longer combusts.

Anyone know where to go find something like that (small glass screen)?

Edit to add - found the screens on eBay.

The screwdriver/nanocup tool works for me and i also used to keep hashish in the SD glass bottle, not to mention its brush proved handy for pipe cleaning tasks in my veranda.

Well, a few weeks ago i got a chance to address this particular issue myself:


This is a 2 mm thick Silicon Carbide pellet which was eventually made as thin as 1 mm, still without conclusive improvement that could have motivated further attempts.

There wasn't any issue related to using a VaporGenie monolithic SiC Ceramic Filter - which is called a "filter" because its main purpose is to remove particles from molten metal, by the way. That puck's heat-refractory qualities felt suitable, the problem was elsewhere as i recall.

So I got my Snoop Dogg pen. Not really feeling it yet. No combustion, but it tasted burnt, not too enjoyable. The screens I bought are too small so I feel like that's a big reason. The right screen and I think it'd be fine. Just gotta find it.

It is kind of cool, at any rate.
