Do the batteries come pre-charged?
Yes. All current Boxes ship with batteries charged to about 75% of their max capacity (the reasons for this are fairly technical). Most Boxes should be ready to try/test on receipt.

do the new eneloop batteries work with a fast charger?
The Eneloop batteries can be charged in fast chargers, as long as they are not too fast. Charging an Eneloop battery in anything less than an hour is probably too fast. A charger that charges them in about one or two hours is about ideal. As such, I would not combine the energizer 15 minute charger with the Eneloop batteries except on rare occasion and while in great need. However, the chargers you mention would be very good for the Eneloop batteries. Also, the charger that we provide is actually a very good fast (though not the fastest) charger. Its max charging time is about 4 hours, and is usually noticeably less.

Any word on this car cig adaptor? I am getting anxious. Will just the car adaptor be available, without the home plug? Thanks. Cheers.

Ah, er, well hmmm -- this sort of action might not be strictly necessary. Any claims as to our divine, immortal, or transcendental nature may be a bit overstated -- we really are rather regular folk (mostly).

In regards to the Box itself, while it may be true that it is an especially good vaporizer for the purposes for which it is intended, I would not want new people reading this thread -- especially first time buyers -- to become convinced that it is the "be all and end" of all vaporizers forever. While we do (really!) love to see all of the positive reviews, there is a need to keep peoples expectations reasonable. They are not gold plated and will not give everlasting life (we wish they did!). We prefer that people buying the Box to have a fair chance to know what is reasonable to expect, and then to have them pleasantly surprised if we somehow manage to exceed those expectations.

There will be a car cig-adapter included with every power module when it is shipped. We can price these separately for those who want it.

Just ordered my LB from BlissSville! Yea!!

Quick question regarding chargers and batteries. Does anyone know if the Maha MH-C9000 works for both the eneloops slow discharge type NiMH batteries as well as standard NiMH rechargeable batteries, like Powerex?

This may be a question for Thomas Distributing but thought I would give this a try.

TeddyJackEddy,

Out to lunch
The slow discharge types (Eneloop or MAHA Imedion) don't require any special kind of charger.

Hello! Just visited the website, but didn't notice any mention of the car cig-adapter power module. Did I miss something?

Hi Mr. Natural! Welcome to FC. The power module and car adapter are something Magic Flight have been working on and not yet released. If you skim back some pages in this thread you can read about the upcoming power module and car adapter.

I decided to take my LB out with me today when I ran some errands. I used it while I was driving around looking for a parking spot at the super Walmart. It was super easy, and stealthy! This wonderful little vaporizer has already changed my life. I never have to combust on the go ever again, as long as I have charged batteries. :D

Can anyone link me to a post(s) that discuss the easiest way to peel a AA battery? Many thanks!

I use a Maha MH-C9000 charger on both PowerEx 2700's and Eneloops. It is perfect for the Eneloops as the default charging mode of the charger is 1000 mA so you can just put em in and not have to change any settings.

ive had my box for 2-3 weeks now and everyone thats used it has been really impressed with it. might be sending a couple buyers your way MF!

i got a question though. i had some friends have trouble learning the draw method. My screen is discolored now. I should be cleaning it soon.

what method works best? anyone prefer anything? i always use the brush after i finish a trench. If i dipped this in ISO alcohol and used it would it help? hurt? any input?

thanks in advance!

Quick question; how much did you load in the LB? Did you notice how brown your herb got?

thanks

Hi,

ISO is fine when applied to the screen with the brush or q-tip, but do not soak/dunk the whole Box. Also, a certain amount of screen discoloring is normal and probably does not require cleaning -- the Box was designed to not to really need it. Another approach is to let the Box heat with the battery for a minute or two with it empty and the lid open to burn off any residue. This will not affect the color but will ensure that the Box is clean.

There are other comments/remarks elsewhere in the thread -- may wish to read back some pages for more info.

sss nice to hear you did the box also, great product great folks, the only problem I had was, some of our batteries we use for our camera were too small of a diameter, I would not know how to pre check but I do know there is a difference, now those are just for the camera not the launch box, any way good stuff.

I haven't been filling my LB any more than half way. That way there is plenty of shaking room for the herb. I get it pretty dark brown too.

try putting a layer or two of electrical tape around the part of the battery where it needs to fit more snugly to give it some added girth ;)

hmm...well I kinda disagree for the first time with you....

it is quite possible for the box to be a part of everlasting life...i don't know if anyone here has experienced kundalini to the crown..but this box is always with me on that inner journey...take a few hits and also the fact that is made of wood (what kind of wood again?) makes it easier to be Still....the grains on it and the miracle of it...then i get into deep meditation..

if you don't know what kundalini is....look it up...it is the Divine in you..and the union with the Divine..and yes it is possible...and that is why I love this box...it just is always there helping me...now the inner road is very easy without obstructions..it's a peaceful journey to the crown and back...

Peace

(as for the pics of the syringe, I promise I will post them up as soon as I find a good topper for it...right now it looks like a super bouncer)

Question: How is The piece of metal that holds the Plexiglas top held on? I'm assuming it is just pressed in. I'm thinking about doing some surgery and replacing the Plexiglas top with a wood piece.

Magic Flight,

It states in the Launch Box directions not to use the batteries unless they are fully charged.

Is this because they will not perform as well, or that it will damage the batteries (as I will surely be showing this little guy off in crowds from time to time)?

For example, is it OK to pull a fully-charged battery out of the charger, use it for a trench, place it back in the charger, and grab the other battery for another trench (and then use the first battery again before it is fully charged...rinse and repeat...)? Possibly until one completely runs out of juice?

Also, on an unrelated note, is it OK to draw hard/shake/draw hard/shake/draw hard/shake... until a trench is basically done without removing the battery until just before one stops drawing (in effect, finishing a whole trench in one draw hard/shake/draw hard/shake/draw hard/shake...)?

Thanks, in advance, for your insight (and for creating such a nifty little gadget :D ).
