Recyclers - Discussion and Appreciation

My Robin hood was an early 2013, I believe he has refined his design a little, plus for practical use, it never splashed, only on water tests. Actually the vortex was the best when you hit it like you normally would for a dab. I've seen other recyclers that have a great vortex on a water test but it never really forms when you hit it so I definitely wasn't complaining.

For the colie, between the splashguard, the curved mouthpiece and when the water hits the top of the funnel intake tube, it forces it back down like a sov recycler does, I have never gotten a drop of water in my mouth hitting that thing. Another thing I just remembered about it is it claims up quicker than any piece I've had, if you dab hard at all, you will definitely want some rez block or you will be cleaning it every 20 or so dabs just to prevent the perc from clogging.

I hear ya. It requires normal drag to work correctly. Nothing wrong with that. The whirlpool on mine and all others I played with just rocked.

On Colie, I'm ignorant there. I don't own one. I did order a custom last Sept from them, but haven't gotten it yet. I am waiting for him to do a special. The issue is he has super high standards on this piece and hasn't been able to pass his requirements on it. His standard on this rig is very high, much higher than mine would ever be. They are working on moving up in level and I guess I'm one of the customers they want to improve with. Haven't push to much since I don't tend to force artists. Usually not a good return doing that

@PhotoRider and @clouded vision thanks for all the input!

I decided to buy this one based off @clouded vision videos :D

I like my recyclers for the smoothest hit. And I don't take huge globs so it shouldn't clog for me at least. My upline recycler has 40 holes and I hardly ever have to clean it :) Mainly because it only gets used a few times a week. I like to cycle through my 15 rigs and bubblers to keep it interesting and fun

Now if I had @PhotoRider collection it would get used a few times a year haha

Oh happy days... mellow mood just got their mothership order. So, traveled over and grabbed a Mothership Klein for a lot less than those clowns on boromarkey trying to gouge buyers and buyers paying 100"s over retail.

its so funny, MS controls their retail prices for there resellerd. Bryce told me the are not allowed to hold back and inflate the price3 or give discount s outside the range they state. That's per the owner.

So these people buy them, then hold them until few are around and jack up the price. True retailers cant do that.

Its so bad I commented on a BM taking offers post stating man, those retail sure have gone up, I paid 500-600 less. The seller, a BM supporter, called me an idiot and didnt know what I was talking about. Funny, not like I havent bought everything, but the klein. Now I got the klein for $400 less than their bin :)

I'll post sone images tonight when I get home. So happy, did expect to have a MS Klein so soon, I had to share :) I have a ms recycler again!!!

How much should those retail for anyway (sans discounts)?

edit: Oh ye god I need this!

I feel the same way, allthough I'd love to own one. The seed of life perc is insane, every picture I have seen of a rig so far oozes perfection. Don't wanna know how many they throw out in a production run though.
I wish I could afford it because I completely agree with you. If I could afford it, I would want a Tarus or a Fab Egg. I saw the most beautiful Egg I've ever seen on Instagram.

...people were selling used rigs for 2100 minimin last week and they sold too.

Edit: Now that I think about it... this really isn't outside the realm of possibilities tho ($1900). I've been thinking and I've spent a lot of money on hobby shit. $800 for a video card, $1200 for a bigger turbo on my car, $2000 for new wheels and tires, a $2200 TV, etc... I'd just need to get over the fact that it's a 10" piece of clear glass? Lol.

It's crazy to me how different two hobbies can be. My only other real hobby is knife collecting and price hikes are commonplace. At custom shows the knife makers do lotteries. They bring about a dozen different knives and then 60-80 guys put their names in for the chance to pay hundreds if not thousands for a knife. After the lottery is over it is very normal for one of the winners to turn directly to a dealer and sell his prize for $1k more than he bought it for.

My problem, people who hoard items like this and then wait for a shortage to sell are not adding value at all. Instead the shop is and those pieces would have sold to direct users, not to speculators :)

OK, to help a buddy’s shop have a nice display to draw people over, I setup a display of some of my recyclers, 31 total with sizes ranging from the Earl Jr 2.5” internal recycler to my 24” Hamm Hurricane The only duplicate artist piece is from Earl Jr. I wanted to display that baby incycler and since the shopmiscthecLion's Den, the Earl Jr Rasta Lion was well begged for
Here is a shot:

OK some images of that new Klein I bought. A Mothership. Grabbed a swing for it and got quartz over TI even through they cost the same. I like quartz more. The small bubbler has a TI so I can run either I guess. They threw in the OFC cap for free :) The shop also gave a Mothership micro fiber towel to polish your rig :)

And a shot next to the 10” fab egg (a medium). So now I got a Ball, an Egg, a klein, and the small oil rig with swing :) Had a Torus so only one is a straight egg, which doesn’t grab me... Also I ike the klein more than the Torus and so does my buddy - he owns my old Torus. The Klein's seed of life perk is on the top of the disk, while the Torus has it on the sides of the internal donut. The return goes through the disk to create a donut. Having them on the top helps the recycler action. The can is much smaller as is the internal funnel which for a vape rig a plus at least for me.

Hey everyone! Could I get your opinion about this cheap incycler by Krave glass. If you have used an incycler does this look like it would function correctly?

It doesn't look like the incycler chamber will vortex because the return line looks too wide but that is fine with me :) For $182 it is really hard to pass up. The video on the site doesn't seem to have enough water in the piece right?

Here is a little better vid on YouTube. Looks like it functions right to me :)

Thanks for the input!

Paid a few bucks more for this one. There is a propper vortex but it's kinda hard to see due to my shitty lightning. This piece needs a lot more water, no clue if the Krave would actually profit from more water as it seems to work a bit different.

@PhotoRider What shop is that at?!? Wouldn't happen to be in Florence would it? Just stopped by a new shop there with the same cabinet, shelf and carpet... Talked with the guys for a while and everything in their shop was blown in Oregon, cools guys too.

Damn! Exact same except the lion head on the cabinet, but I'm sure there are a bunch of shops that look the same based on that. Mind posting the shop? I'd love to stop by on my monthly trip to the sand dunes

Krave isn't bad glass imo, from my own experience the glass was decently thick and well made not perfect but good enough. Looks like that incycler could use a bit more water. The whirlpool at the end seemed nice enough. Pretty dope piece all in all.

There are a couple things I don't like, first they could have made the can like 2 inches shorter and second they could have extended the drain well below the perc. Both of those are pretty nit picky though especially considering the price; the closest thing I've seen to that is an EFS incycler which will cost at least 2.5x as much.

Thanks guys! I am emailing them now to figure out what joint size it is (listing says 18mm female, but pics show 18mm male). Looks like I will be ordering this one soon!
