Cory Glass Designs re/incyclers - high function and affordable?

I had a dream last night that Cory built this badass Donkey Kong rig. Kong's head was the mouthpiece, Mario's head was a dome, and the vapor path snaked all through the purple ramps. It was all psychedelic slyme and glow-in-dark. In the dream I kept Kik'ing Cory asking what the price will be, and he replied it would be seventy-five cents. I messaged back that the quote seemed a little low, and then the alarm went off. Nice dreams.

Hey @Herr_Dampf did you ever get the incycler from Cory?

Actually, I took it out of my mailbox about 1.5 hours ago ;)
First of all, it really is quite a bit smaller and I was bit too optimistic. It's a bit of a let down that Cory didn't communicate that size change. The lack of a foot combined with small diameter of the body makes it a bit unstable. I usually have my rig on a silicone pad, so it's not that bad, but it can't handle a Nano without support.
The piece itself is pretty much flawless, fat tank joint, very thick mouthpiece weld and a very nice body shape. For the size, it has a nice weight and the glass feels smooth and perfect. Video was just a very quick clip, Nano only at 6 (dat lipsmack in the end!) still pretty cloudy, just not in the glass.

Pass: FC

Had a 6.5er, slower draw later and holy crap. That thing packs quite a punch!

Awesome piece @Herr_Dampf!

It is a lot smaller than I expected, but the function looks really quality. I love that perc.

Might be one of these in my collection in the future...thanks for the pics and vid mate :D

I am not sure if he really enjoys doing them. I originally asked for a worked one and he didn't really wanted to do that. Guess the whole process is pretty tricky. Might explain the size as well. If you get one, ask for a bubble foot.

That taste...:mmmm:

That's interesting because I mentioned incycler early on and felt he was subtly trying to steer me away from that so we're going the recycler route. There was something else I requested that he came back with another option. Doesn't matter to me. If the artist is inspired and happy, it makes for a great piece. Also I'm new to this so who knows if I'm asking for something that's difficult to do or just plain ugly. Some things like color I may push hard on. It's such a dance between customer and blower. Hopefully I'm learning how to dance a couple of good moves.

@Herr_Dampf that is a gorgeous piece. Is a little odd there's no base considering how heavy it looks on top. Looks like the function is up to the standard. Do you feel any difference function-wise with the mouthpiece being straight and not being flared at the end? Can you take more pics without your monster bear paws blocking the view?

If Cory said one word that he'd rather do something else ... I am not good with subtle clues ;)

It isn't as top heavy as the pictures make it look. Keeping everything in mind (small base, no foot, heavy top) the piece is way more stable than it seems. It tends to tumble toward the joint if you bump against it though, so a little bit of foot would have gone a long way. Guess the funnel was a bit to long as it is nearly touching the bottom.

I don't have a flared mouthpiece on the recycler either and don't miss it a bit. It's actually easier to get a perfect seal with this plain mouthpiece design imho.

Pictures sans paws in the third post from the top of this page.

@Deadshort480 Honey honey honey, it's a sticky mans world!

Still waiting.. haha. Been over a month since he said he would do it, but no updates or request for payment. Feeling so deflated :p

edit: to be fair: it has been exactly 1 month since he agreed to do it, and said that it would take about 2 weeks. really; 1 month isn't bad considering how awesome it will be. the wait just feels longer because of the excitement haha
