I own both of them but prefer a much smaller dab rig with less diffusion. I really enjoy dabbing out of my Kathy recycler.

I like my Kathy recycler too. Works great, with a plain quartz domeless, you can have a whole rig for $30

Funny you mentioned that. I just found out that BOA automatically cancelled my CC with them and are sending me a new one. They couldn't tell me exactly why they did it, but I had just used it on both AE (for the first time) and DHGate a couple days ago. I always get a small fee (under a buck) added whenever I have used DHGate they call "foreign transaction fee". I didn't see one from AE.

Being in Europe, I got the fee you are talking about on DHgate because they charged me in dollars, which is not the currency of my bank account.
On AE I had the possibility to pay directly in euros, and I haven't paid the fee.
Similarly, to pay for something in dollars when using Paypal, I have the option to be billed directly in euros (including Paypal's share), or to be billed in dollars. If I choose euros I don't get the fee from my bank, whereas if I choose dollars I get it.

tl;dr: The "foreign transaction fee" might not be something related.

I've ordered from Dhgate without issue, first and last on AE. This was a $49.95 fee, I think you'd notice if you were effected.

Even if you aren't, my paranoid side leads me to assume that for now, due to the multiple reports. I just wonder how many others haven't noticed yet or aren't on the forum to report. Either way, I like to play it cautious with online transactions, especially international sites.

Yes! Thankfully DHGate is still a reliable place for me to get my GAS fix! :rockon: Luckily the pieces I was eyeing on Ali are on DHGate too or I wasn't DYING to have them anyways heh :wave:

It's funny. I have mentioned in here before that BOA has a service (called shop safe) that allows you to create a CC number for a single transaction. I always use that with a vendor I don't know or is overseas. The night I bought this that service was down and I told myself, just this once, I would use my regular CC number. Then, apparently yesterday, they cancelled that card without notice. Oops...

I just noticed that one of the AE transactions, the one from Samuel Tim, hasn't shipped yet. That's the claisen. Hmmm...

My Colie Slyme recycler came in and I love it! The Slyme looks great, glass is thick and heavy, and it recycles nicely with a great balance of purr and chug.

However, here's the sad part, there was a hairline crack on the main chamber right under where the perc is.

I contacted Max Quality Glass and sent them pictures etc. They responded within minutes apologizing for the inconvenience and they are going to fix/replace it for free (they are paying for shipping as well).

So anyone that has been skeptical about Max Quality Glass I would say give them a chance. They have a few items under $100 and their customer service in my opinion is top notch from this experience!

My fake roor sidecar arrived today and it's perfect, no defects that I can find at all. The only obvious difference in quality between this and my real roor recycler is the boro nail is noticeably nicer on the genuine article. It only took about 10 days from when I ordered it a couple of weekends ago.
