I think in the future when it's legal everywhere(at least USA and canada),they should just use those new mouth swabs.....they tell if you have consumed thc in the last like 12hrs or something...
At least you could still medicate On the weekends and possibly after work, just not at work.

With the current drug testing(urine, and breathalizers)it takes me 5-7 days of no use to pee clean.
This is with taking vitamins, eating healthy, juicing lots of greens, and drinking lots of water

Of corse in a perfect world, they just wouldn't test for canabis, but with insurance policy's the way they are that will probably never happen

When that day comes I'll be investing in THC suppositories. Anal dosing will be the new big market!

Hahaha.

@Caligula, I think the problem with your idea is that people are averse to sticking things in their buttholes.

I know I never will.

Around 8 years ago I was pulled aside by customs at a small euro airport, the guy swabbed the handles of my bag, put the swab into a usb device which was then plugged into his laptop, within 60 secs there was graph on the screen, one graph bar for each drug, cocaine, heroin, cannabis etc ....every graph was flat except for cannabis which was off the chart.

This was tech from 8 years ago, makes you wonder why employers arent just swabbing you work area, eg keyboard after you've gone home.

Because touching doesnt = using. While this is a good idea for airports, etc its basically worthless elsewhere (legally).

I mean, common... I bet we could find some coke residue on your person right now:

Sure touching is not using, but in the case of employment, not sure it matters. Basically if the employer found drug residue of any kind, it would be grounds enough to send the employee in for drug testing. If the test comes back positive, the "I must have touched something" defense isn't going to mean much. They just need some excuse for reasonable suspicion.

There are a lot of legal issues with that hypothetical scenario there... in the US at least.

Agreed. However I have seen employers go that route before. I'd guess their bet is the employee doesn't have resources to pursue the issue in court. Even in our state, employees can't use mmj laws as a defense to drug test positives.
