I just purchased the YQ-42 and recieved it in the mail, it's a truly awesome piece for the price. I was really surprised at how thick the glass is, it feels nice and hefty and the welds are pretty decent. I LOVE the percs; the matrix perc on my piece is flawless and combined with the honeycomb perc it gives you an amazingly smooth hit with less drag than you might expect. It hits really well and doesn't "chug" - as long as you get the water level correct. I'm able to do larger dabs on it than other pieces because it is so smooth. Honestly, I'm very impressed. I've purchased glass on DHGate and Aliexpress before but this is my favorite piece thus far. :tup::science:

To those who have tried the D020-D and W, which do you prefer? Is it just down to mouth piece preference or do they fire a little differently? I like the more open style of the D but the W sidecar is tempting me.

Don't forget that if using it with a vaporizer you'll need a female joint on the bubbler you chose. For the D020-W-2, since it has a 18.8mm male joint, you'll need to get one of those pretty long female-female adaptor...
If it's for Dabbing just ignore my previous statements, although they are still true :cool:

I'll get back to watching the Bob Marley movie :popcorn:

I ordered the D020w last week and an adapter from Oregon Glass, but was thinking...why doesn't a vendor just make a female end that we can attach to silicon tube? (I have a Arizer Q). would really open up these oil rigs to those of us who aren't using portables...

EDIT: besides the fact that it would look like a cinder block

I have both of them. They have the same perc so function wise I see little difference. My preference is for sidecars, and closed mouthpieces, so the "D" doesn't see a lot of use in my rotation. Either way you can't go wrong!

I was going to order it but it says it is only 3mm thick and that doesn't quite make the cut for me. 5mm thick is the minimum thickness I will go unless it is a 10mm nano then I am okay with 3mm. Just personal preference and the fact that me and 3mm glass don't get along well. I always end up breaking it somehow lol.

Excited to read your review though! Maybe it will change my mind about 3mm thickness :D

Here is a similar one on bakebros but with a female joint and possible 5mm thickness...

Unfortunately my decision to use UPS ground is biting me. I received an update from ups saying expect one day delay. My adapter for it isnt scheduled for delivery until Fri, but I have two adapters I can combine to use it. That Bake bros Donut is cool especially for the price but I think I want to try the triple. I like this whole "use the glass design as a perc", thats my fascination with the last 2 pieces I've mentioned. So although its 3mm I dont care, I just want the experience. Once again the B.Wilson was one I've always wanted to try.

Hey everyone on here concerned about pieces with male joints!

If you own a nano, solo, or underdog you can purchase female gongs from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd . He is a very nice guy who aims to please and also has great prices.

I own pretty much every type of adapter out there and I got sick of them. Never again do I need to have my vape perched precariously high up because of some adaptor
