Looking to order the black rod from W-9 (until the iris v2 comes out) and can't find it or the white ceramic rod. Maybe I've had too many dabs. Can someone provide a link? My asthma is killing me. Tia.
Found them and looks to be unavailable. @THC SCIENTIFIC when will they be available?

You need the black 74 black rod or the 71 black rod?

Ok well now I just feel like an ignorant dumbass :p haha. This is completely my fault so I apologize. The first video I watched isent even the bender  DOH. It was this one:

I just found a new video that does use the bender and he blows out some nice clouds!

So all In all it was a mistake on my part...looks like a very interesting unit to try out for sure! Kind of has me intrigued now honestly.

The first video was our prototype 8 vaporizer for herbs. It actually does nice clouds that video is a first time user video by dubc. The 8 was a good idea one of the first designed on the Ecig platform that the Persei was based on.

The second video was also done by a customer of ours, although he gets ok clouds once again it has great potential.

The 700mah batteries allowed users to vape through 1.2 -1.5 grams of herbs between charges.

I dont know why i havent purchased any persie products before. Everything seems solid and your response time is incredible...or maybe we just veg out at the same hours! My main thing is I use loose leaf 95% of the time so whatever I get MUST be able to use herbs in.

I veg when my work is done and customers are answered on FC. Basically around early morning PST time.

As far as the bender being portable it's not. It is actually for a snob, and by snob I mean someone who likes taste more then portability. The bender is not temp controlled, and everyone combusts the first few times and by that I mean first 10-20 times. We don't push anyone into anything they don't need and would rather everyone know the benders drawbacks before they buy. Keeps us happier along with the clients because they get what they want without any surprises

straight forward, honest, and willing to see the negative side as well. Not much more you can ask for brother and I respect you for it!

Thats the name of the game like i said, i want the same honesty from the people i buy from. Rarely i get it but i do offer it because that is what i expect.

Tell me your needs maybe i can direct you to something we are working on or something that i think will take its place, also give me a list of vapes you already have used, had and thinking about. If you want you can pm me your answer and i can guide you through.

I love my Bender, although I don't vape herb all that often. One thing that make it much more user friendly is the Iris variable voltage tops. I have a v1 Iris which is not available, but the v2 Iris is in the works at UpTech. G has not said that it has gone into production yet unless I missed it. The Iris lets you dial down the power of the rod which at at 7.4 volts can get hot enough to combust pretty fast if you are not careful on the button.

I know @ataxian is a big fan as well, hopefully he'll chime in.

Will it run the 5ohm carts?

Yes

Edit:

Someone mentioned about the 8 being infinity logo maybe about 2 months back.

To my surprise you where right when you said it, i just didnt want to mention anything to reveal anything at that time.

The 8 is actually infinity because the way its set up its actually limitless. Imagin the adapters we can make for other vapes cartridges. Maybe we can fix their problems.

I was lucky in that I got to borrow a Bender and sort-of learn to use it without making the investment, which is quite a bit! I really messed up my first few bowls and combusted towards the end probably the first 10 until I started figuring out a draw, puff and timing thing as well as stirring it several times instead of just once through a session.. I certainly didn't master it during my short affair but it certainly planted a bug! In retrospect i wish I had tried clicking the top on and off more to get better results. It can deliver quite strong and flavorful- what some call "full spectrum" maybe- lungfuls of vapor. I used it about a dozen times so I don't have the experience of an owner.

With that said, in my opinion, or lack of experience, there are a few drawbacks. I found the best hits to be with quite a strong draw and the draw will (especially towards the end as the very dry herb is broken up by your stirs) cause a lot of plant bits to get drawn into your mouth! UP Tech recommends the use of cotton in the mouthpiece- If they mean to make a ball and shove it in the tip of the mouthpiece, the cotton inevitably ends up on your tongue. I found using a screen right on top of the herb before adding the mouthpiece worked best, and hated that; I didn't use a metal screen in an all glass piece with enthusiasm. The vapor is of course dry and the mouthpiece isn't the easiest to attach tubing to. Although you could, I suppose, fashion a mouthpiece-replacement piece for the top fitting and do something different. (I have come across pictures from older pages with very interesting looking Bender contraptions)

The flavor from the glass airpath is too tempting, the effects nap-inducing. I'll have to get one eventually. But not until I have a Core or Iris to lower the temperature of the 1200 rod a bit. (The other rod wasn't hot enough. 800f?)

If I had a IRIS 2 I would use the BENDER everyday!
Other wise it's a matter of feel!
The BENDER is a analog device!

Pretty sure he's the ZIG-ZAG guy, yes. That's what he means when he talks about his old "corporate job".
When you run out of ZIG ZAGS your glad to have a spare pack!

I love to chase clouds however I have a cough fit.
I chase flavor because I can handle it and it taste amazing!

Use the hammer rod as a dabber?
I'll try it!

I realized the emergency pack of orange zig-zags in my bedroom drawer is 12 years old now, going on 13 years. Wow, it has been awhile since I combusted flowers.
It's been a while since since I had a joint.
In the 70's it was pretty common to have 6 or more joints a day.
Mostly THAI STICKS and PURPLE BUD from AFGHANISTAN.

All this stuff is making me get the itch. I want a water chamber for my Hercules, but I'm worried about breaking the nibbler. I'm seriously considering the Okeanos preorder. I'm not sold on LAYG though.

The 8 looks so rad. I want it, but I'm not sure why. Would brushed match my matte silver tube better? My chrome hammer top matches pretty well.

Looks like I'm going to be adding to my sale thread soon :)
