I am also inclined to say that (if you can afford one) this is a good buy. Mobius also is making an even smaller bubbler called the Atom that you may want to look at.

I saw that Möbius Atom bubbler and it looks sweet. I don't use water filtration much at all, but if I was going to buy a bubbler I would want quality, functionality and a small size for storage and discreetness. I don't now much about bubblers, but would the Atom be good for both flowers and concentrates? What are the pros and cons of a small bubbler like this?

I don't mean to derail the Nano thread, but if I were to buy the Nano, would it pair well with the Atom? I mean, I know the Nano is an awesome vape (I've been reading this thread), but was reluctant to pull the trigger because of the Nano's reputation for harshness w/o water at the higher temperatures I like to vape at. If I had a nifty little bubbler, I might consider getting one of these.

I don't find the e-nano unexpectedly harsh at higher temps, harsher than lower temp or with water, but that's to be expected. I don't find it to be any harsher than other vapes.

Harsh!?!?!?:huh: :hmm: The Nano for me @9.0 stem-dry is as smooth as silk...:ko:

now, higher temps are the only way you might risk combustion with the e-nano, i have done it, but only above 9. and i think the lower temps are tastier.
Also, I let my load heat soak @9.0+ for a little while to really maximize the cloudage, and it's not harsh at all, just VERY POWERFUL!!!

Note: I have come close to combustion @9.3+ approx., but I just increased the distance of the load from the heater tip a millimeter or so, and everything was honky dory.

Snappo, that's good to know! However, from reading through this thread it seems like a lot of people use a bubbler with Nano due to harshness. Of course, to a certain degree everyone has a different tolerance level to vapor. Btw, approximately what temp. Level is 9 on the Nano? Like 440F? Because if it's smooth as SILK at that temperature.... I'm in! I notice you have a Solo. How would you compare the level of harshness, throat irritation between the two Vapes? My Solo at 7 produces vapor that is way too hot for me to hit dry... I think Solo at 7 is only like 410F if I'm not mistaken.

I really don't know what the temp correlation is to the dial number. But, I think different variables can be factored in depending on user technique. For example, you may find it very helpful to take slightly lighter shorter inhales just to compensate due to your lower hot vapor tolerance - e.g., as soon as you begin to feel that ticklish cough coming on during inhale, learn to stop just short of that. Relax, then go back for more. When using water, same deal, only with deeper longer inhales. You're going to get plowed no matter what, but with a little trial & error practice, your comfort zone is definitely going to be in there. And think of the efficiency that the Nano is famous for - that's only one bonus among many! If you have the Solo, practice the above suggestion with it @ level 7. The Solo is a champion in its own right - but the Nano gives you heavy cream vs Solo's full fat milk. ENJOY!!!

I've not used an Atom yet. Just need to say that. Of course I can assume it will be similar to having a scaled down Ion, so it shouldn't be too hard to guess here.

Anyway, I firmly believe the Atom will pair very well with a Nano. It may be too small for larger vapes like a VXC but the Nano is so light and tiny, this won't be an issue. Mob's matrix percs are bar bone the best on the market, so your diffusion needs will be well taken care of. That said it should retain flavor well since the larger Ion does this with no issues. This also leads me to believe that it would work well for concentrate dabs as well given that there is minimal surface area for concentrate to condense on and the water level can be kept low to minimize any drag (near 0 is my guess) as well as to preserve flavors.

If I was in the market for something like that I'd definately consider an Atom.

A couple of things I'm wondering - if my Zone Rate is $0 am I to assume the shipping is complimentary? I really hope so, I can't afford it otherwise! Also, if I were to buy a converter, should it look more like this one: (250w) or like this one: (50w)?

The 50w should be fine. The e-nano doesn't use too much power, i forgot the exact value, but it's under 50 i belive.

actually says it in the OP:

  • 11 watts of full ac power = Plenty of power for concentrates.

If I leave mine on high heat (7-9+) for a little while it gets almost too hot to hold. Is this normal?

Similar to holding a ceramic mug of hot coffee or tea I suppose (at 9-10 after a long heatsoak). I can do it without it hurting but it's not comfortable to hold onto for long periods of time. Of course I never have it on 9 or 10 for very long.

I have ran it at ~9 for probably a liiittle bit longer than that ... :p
It just works so great with hash at that heat level, works so well that I forget the Nano is even on. I assume it will at least shut off if it ever overheats?

Exactly this. Great recommendation and advice!

Mobius Ion Matrix.
Water level just below the "made in cali" writing.
7 drops of Cranberry Botanic Choice (rez block)
slightly tamped load 2-3mm below the heating line
Aquafina Water!

Literally stacks all the way to the top and can barely clear the can from all the bubbles! White walls the Ion 3 times for per load. maybe a mysterious video is due.

@Caligula

How did you like the Kiss Carts from w9? I have a joytech eVic that i would love to convert to a portable vaporizer for wax/bho and am looking for a great cart to take care of the upstairs business!

I use the E-Nano at 7.5 dry.
I used it with water one time only for a video.
The Nano is a smooth hit dry!
I use the NANO with a JHOOK and a ASH COLLECTOR at Level 7.0 and it's full blown gourmet if you like flavor or if taste is important to you?

Dry? What a noble Idea!
Sherlock dry for my stem.
Welcome!

The thing about the PERSEI is it's powerful and I have a EVIC for oils however for SHATTER the PERSEI is head and shoulder better. (IMO)

The SOLO for portable and the NANO is always plugged in and ready to medicate.

Sorry @Caligula you know better than I!

Tonight with some BLACK WATER INDICA dry with my NANO at 7.0!

OK a 2nd wpa on level 7.5 for @Vitolo!

I'm trying not to bore people with my crazy photos. Just vaporize!

You have the screen farther than me probably, because I always end up scorching above 8. Can you touch the screen with the e-pic?
