Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

CarolKing

Singer of songs and a vapor connoisseur
Thank you Sativape, From my tone you probably can tell how frustrated I am. I have other vapes that I mostly rely on. I feel some of us have not been treated fair. It's not even the money at this point. In the beginning I was so in love with this unit my FC name was Pinnacle Pro.

I'm happy the folks that have great experiences with the Pnp. I was really excited when I bought mine, it blew me away. I had to send my first one back due to the blue cascading lights, after the first few days. No big deal that happens. I didn't want to be without one so I ordered another Pnp with 2 day shipping. I got the other unit back so then I had two. I knew the units ran pretty hot. I could only use heat level 1 or 2.

I bought the water tool that's mated with the unit. I loved it! I could only go to level heat 3, while I would hear folks using higher temps. The WT was kinda wobbly, I break things anyway I have gone through 2. I did buy 2 more Pnp WTs, just in case. I have spent quite a bit, but that's beside the point.

A lot of resin does collect, so I made sure I kept the vape clean. When using alcohol making sure it was wiped off after with water on a q tip. Realizing the hot resin probably is not that great for the plastic, and with all the mouthpiece problems. I never had a mouthpiece problem with melting or chipping off plastic like some.

Then a month or so later while taking the top off my unit it broke off at the collar. Thinking this would be covered I emailed VB and they said it would be $50 to get fixed (I saw on this thread it's $60 or $65 now). I decided I wanted it fixed, so I paid for shipping sent the unit back it came back perfect. It only took 2 weeks. VaporBlunt was very good at answering emails back then in Oct. Nov.

I bought another unit for a friend, she was honest and said she didn't like it, so I kept it for myself. Sometime in Nov. Dec. I noticed a crack on one of my units. I looked at the other 2 units and noticed a crack on one of them 2 units with cracks. The one that was fixed still looked great and still does. It's the only one with no crack.

I tried getting a hold of VB I,couldnt get them to answer the emails. I tried calling the wholesale number and no one answered. I had questions about the cracks. I called EZVAPES because that's where I bought one of the units. They told me the cracks were suppose to be there. It was to help cool the unit, how about that for honesty, so I thought that must be true.

One day one of VB representative was on FC and said that some of the units were cracking on the mold seam. I don't know why he said anything about it, I can't remember. Maybe a member had a crack or maybe it was about the mouthpieces. Possibly he had read a previous post.

I had asked folks in the beginning when this first happened if anyone was experiencing this problem. Nobody had any problems. After a month or so FC members were noticing cracks.

The battery has gone down on my vapes and they last for maybe 3 sessions if I'm lucky. I thought I would get a new battery for the one with no cracks. I emailed VB with no response. I didn't mention anything about being unhappy. I just asked how I could go about getting a new battery. No negative talk at all. I've always been polite with my emails.

I have never mentioned that I am an FC member in any of my emails. I'm sorry if folks are irritated with me about this.

I needed to get this off my chest.

For what it's worth, it sounds like you handled your PNP frustrations respectfully and politely. Can't ask for more than that. :)

Im having issues getting my pro to turn on unless its plugged in. It only has one battery bar missing, im unsure of whats causing it. I've had this thing for a few days now, i really do not like it at all. It feels like a hits like a POS compared to my solo

Hello fellow vaporists,
This is my first post on FC. Happy to be here. I felt it was necessary to have my first post here due to this being the place I realised I wanted the pinnacle ;). And thats exactly the reason i pose you this question: I have had my pinnacle for around about a month or so. I am a light user (Maybe one or twice a week) and everything is still very clean inside my pinnacle. However, the problems arrise with the battery (I think?). Every time I turn the little lady on, she will blink for a few seconds and then have scrolling red lights from bottom to top. I then usually get her to fire up the second time round but some days it just will stay like that until I plug her in and use her from the wall. This defeats the purpose of it being portable in my eyes. I purchased through theyoyokid1 and couldn't be happier with their service. Answered many questions very quickly. The product itself is just amazing. Reading nearly all the pages on this forum before buying, I was not dissapointed to say the least!

The other thing I have literally just noticed is that the colour of ABV changes reguarlally with the same use time + temp setting.

Thank you in advance for your help.
In the mean time, vape on ;)

Hey everyone. I was cleaning my glass mouthpiece today and I removed the insert completely for the first time. The little black o ring fell out and now I don't know how to put it back together properly.

If someone could help me out I would appreciate that very much :)

Slide the O ring over the mouth end of the glass tube.
Position it maybe 1/3 down the length of the tube then push the glass into the plastic...

All done

Be carefull with the O-ring. Mine busted after a few days of use and I have not been able to get VB to get me the specs on the oring so I can have it replaced. I thought this would be a quick simple fix. Now I wished I'd just sent the whole Gpong back, I think I would have got it fixed faster.

Why not buy a multi pack at the hardware store?

My new glass pong gets jammed up with materials with use, and it causes major airflow issues. Am I missing a part of it, or is there a screen I should buy to fix this?

Haven't logged on in a while, last few times i did seems like vapor blunt was lagging along with releasing this. Excited to see it's finally out! Are they still doing exchanges, or would I have a better chance of just buying the glass piece?

Is there any interest in a new case for the pnp you already own? If you were able to perhaps swap the internals of the pnp with minimal soldering into a new similar sized stainless casing that was free standing and could have exchangable 18650 batteries and other improvements, yet still remained small and relatively pretty? Im gonna make myself a prototype and buy a junked pnp to tear apart. Have yet to update my reviews but so far so good, ill give details on next post.

I dont see why people hate on the plastic so much, i know the pax and solo are metal and feel great but i think the Plastic is nice too. I would def love a more reliable and powerful battery.

I have no issues with the pnp so far, except I wish it was free standing, and that I could swap batteries, and I only want that cuz I know it can be done and can be done easily. Ive come to the conclusion that for show n tell purpises id rather spend the money I was gonna spend on an inverter and a portable battery pack on a little project. Metal would fit my lifestlye more and be easier for me to shape the way I'd like, thats why. I have no problems with the plastic body, except plastic isnt exactly easy for me to bend and shape for this project. Anybody have a pnp paperweight theyd sell cheap or donate to science? I wont open and void my warranty on the new one, but an older or broken one why not. Pm me if u have one :)

I received my pinnacle pro yesterday and it does not heat up unless it is plugged in. It indicates that there is a full battery, but in the middle of heating up level one, or soon after it is heated up, the lights all light up from bottom to top until the all the colors have been shown, then it goes blank. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix it?

After a while you will need to clean it man.

I accidentally popped the mouthpiece screen out once, not sure if that caused this. I thought I put it back in right, but the screen gets jammed up with materials shortly after cleaning & starting a new session. I know my first reply probably deserved a joking response like that, but this is troubling, so I ordered the glass daisy screens someone suggested, and hope that will fix this.
