No more messing with screens on the mini! Sign me up!

Plus adjustable screen. You can now use even less with the Mini, :D

For my mini to be effective with the stock screen I had to put a good bit in there and it would effect the resistance of air. Now you can just a pinch.

yeah, i have a mini-wand (works great for 1-2 people!). so excited, i love messing around with different configurations in the ssv, and having an adjustable screen is icing on the cake! do you need to modify the e-nano screens to fit in the mini? or does it just fit right in as is?

So I finally ordered some EQ basket screens to attempt Tweak's mod. After butchering one to the point that I had to throw it out, my second attempt worked (used an exacto). The good news is that it works incredibly. I sucked up just some dust and tiny pieces sitting in my grinder and got thoroughly medicated in about one hit. Highly recommend. I also tried putting a basket screen in the LSV transfer wand but couldn't get it in.

Hey guys, new to the forums here.
I've had a PnP as my first vape for a good while now and I've been looking for a good nightstand piece and the SS, out of all the plugins I've seen is my favorite model. Looking to purchase this in the next month or so, does anyone recommend where I can get the best/reliable deal on one?

The Underdog website has the same type screens, but not sure how big they are.

You do have a VB Mini wand correct?

Unfortunately no, you could probably stretch one out to fit but that wouldn't hold very well.

There is a pretty big difference in bowl size between the two.

I have 1/4" ID X 3/8" OD piece of tubing on the Mini VB, and a 3/8" ID X 1/2" OD on the Standard. The combo is awesome!!! I recommend all users get this setup,. No more messing with putting a screen in the middle of the VB mini.

Edit:
100% crop from above image ^^

The nano screen just falls right through the standard.

Just wanted to add that the underdog formed screens fit for the mini wand. it seems the diameter matches the underdog gongs. been using it like that for the past week at 12:30-1 on the dial w/quick pulls. works great. smaller loads, easier to keep clean, same big clouds, fantastic taste. thanks for the mod!

I got mine from eBay for around $200 (and it seems that's what most head shops will do it for - around $180+ and you can get a grinder with it) but if you order directly from 7th floor for $260 (I believe?) you get the 3 year warranty. :]

I've had issues unfortunately (could turn up my unit to 4-5 and do a slow draw and my herb wouldn't change color - yeah right!) with my first unit but I'm swapping it out and the replacement should be here in the next few days!! :D

I cannot seem to find any mention of whether or not the VaporBrothers Mini Wand is compatible with Da Buddha. I am guessing that it would not sit snugly, unless I swap out my heater cover. Please enlighten me :).

That is correct. Swap out the heater cover. 7th floor states they make the standard HC for the DBV.

When I went to the underdog site they have two screen sizes, basically the choices are to fit a GonG or a NonG. Which size fits in the vapor brothers mini wand?

Just received my SSV...it's beautiful, but I think the knob is the blemish...can still see the knob because the glass is too short...I can always get a new one but, since it's kinda hidden behind, I don't really mind...

Works flawlessly, although the tubing tastes quite disgusting...will the taste ever leave? It got better already but still discernible ...

Vitolo has a whip cleaning vid on here somewhere but I'm too lazy to look. That might help.

Did you let the unit run for a while on max before using? That is one possible source of the taste. The tubing shouldn't leave much of a taste. I would say barely noticeable, if any, especially if using 7th Floor's tubes (the only ones I have experienced)

My favorite tubing of all tubing.
I have tried tubing from most sources... and when I can get away with it I always modify using 7th floor tubing!

It is all 7th Floor Tubing...the "original" one, clear tasted weird outta box...tastes like melted plastic and smelled like so too...

The lime colored 10' I ordered doesn't seem to smell strong like that...haven't tried it yet.

Here's a pic or 2 of her

Hi Everybody,

I live in Europe and I have trouble to find the water adapter for SSV (http://silversurfervap.com/glass/wcfm/ground-glass-water-pipe-adapter.html#)

Did anybody already tried to use the ones designed for the EQ or for the vapor Daddy ?
http://arizer.com/store/en/arizer-parts/26-glass-elbow-adapter.html
http://vapordaddy.com/collections/test/products/tv-w117

The second one looks pretty similar to the 7th floor original one but I'm afraid that the tubing of the SSV is maybe too large.

Thanks for your help !

@Max_aro They would also work I guess...the size of the tubing needed should also be similar.
But why aren't you getting the original from 7th Floor to be sure not to have to modify anything?

Thanks SunnyHours. I'll maybe wait to see if anybody else has some input.
To answer your question, the original one isn't so easy to find in Europe as the SSV isn't sold anymore here because of a certification issue.
If any european person knows where I can find this little adapter, feel free to share :)
