It sucks the release date keeps getting set back. I think I'm gonna hold out on buying a new Vape till this comes out. Looks sexy. My pax is still kickin was lookin at a firefly but this looks like its gonna be cheaper and cooler.

Anyone know if its still available for preorder at 99$?

No one knows until they open the floodgates. expect it to be more though, I'm thinking around $150ish (hopefully not more, but if it can truly deliver on all claims, it'd be worth 200 or 300 honestly...)

No, once the funding ended, no one else could order at that price.
They may well start taking pre orders when it gets closer to release, but it won't be $99.

As long as the company is ethical I bet everyone will get a grasshopper eventually, but hopefully sooner than this:
Unless campaign creators put a cap on the number of rewards they will deliver, they can easily be overwhelmed by demand when projects become a runaway success.

That’s what happened in 2011 to John Eades and Michael Ferreri, the founders of Vera flip-flops. Eades and Ferreri raised $52,618 from more than 1,000 backers to manufacture their eco-friendly sandals but couldn’t handle the demand. It took them three years to make good on their promise.

It's funny they mentioned 1,000 because Grasshopper had like 1,023 backers...

Yeah but that's technically 2,000 flip flops since most people have 2 feet, only 1000 Grasshoppers.....

Hehe....he.....yeah.... :haw:

I don't get that view, honestly how is that? I mean they have been pretty open about whats going on, have shown updates, etc....

So what if they are a couple hours late on an update, hell even if its a day or two, give them a break, this is a big project and they are probably going nuts right now trying to get everything on track, remember they had to move to even make the vaporizer since NC is not super open about these sorta things....

All I see is a bunch of people crying over nothing.

or to quote from the page you told me to look at:

"Cue the bitching from angry backers about the delay on the update. >_>"

well more and more delays arent that good for an upcoming portable vape, many people want refunds already.

They probably should have not put money towards a kickstarter/indiegogo then, in all honesty I am in for 2 of these and you know what? I assumed there would be some delays, I assumed there would be even more after they had to relocate, I also assumed that they would be making it better then the basement prototype which would make it take a bit longer.

This was not a pre-order for the new iphone....this is a new company playing with fairly advanced and new tech right out of college, give them a break, I don't get why people are acting like they need this right now, if they needed a vape right now well....look around...plenty to choose from, maybe they should have put that 100 towards a solo/wispr/etc....

We funded it, now we wait, we were not promised a certain time, this isn't a pre-order.

I wan't this very much but know what I don't want? A piece of crap atmos that costs 100 dollars and will break in 4 months. I rather wait. We can all get together and sue if it turns out to be a scam, until then I think we should sit back and watch what happens and hope for the best.

I wish they could get their refunds, so everyone else that went into this with open eyes wouldn't have to hear the whiny bitching.

It's 8:25 in CO while I'm typing this, and it's fairly likely they will have an update posted on July 1st. Not that being a day late on a bi-monthly progress report really makes much difference.
