you mean without the nut? I measue with it on the iris..it just stuck inside right now

no i mean measure it with the bottom adapter, the herc straight on the iris. If it still causes an issue. We have to get it back to see what the issue is. You are sure you adjusted the bottom adapter and you are using the STainless top cap correct?

I am using 2 AW 18350's after all my testing and work I am now at 7.3V. I remember before when I used to use my old herc months ago, 6.0V was enough for tasty clouds. IDK how much oil is left either

Hmm the only thing I can say is I need the Herc to try.

Something's def not right.

And your positive there's .7 in it?

I weighed .6 and then added more. I do not see anything in there, so it must be in the coil.

EDIT: after looking at the SR74 pics, I cut my coil more..seems to be working now. I will report back soon

EDIT 2: im getting nice hits compared to before, but still not quite a dab. I know this thing can produce, I just dont think I have enough in it anymore after cutting the coil more

If your coil is about the size of a. TI coil, so that just a tiny bit of the rod is sticking up above the coil. You want about 0.5 total in there. Load the 0.2-0.3 buffer followed by another 0.2-0.3. To load throw it in. Press button and give a few puffs. Do that a few times till it's melted in (remember to cool down to avoid leaks.)

Also what setting are you using it at? Voltage wise

MY Ti coil is the bomb. I recommend getting one of those, as they are precut. Mine sits to where the rod is about a mm higher. This works best. I had an original sr71 coil and tried cutting it to get it dialed in, but it was a mess.

So, my new Persei (Ti edition, if it matters) works just fine when vaping, however, 5 rapid clicks do not turn the device "off". Is this normal for this version? Or is there something I am missing?

Thanks for any assistance or advice!

Some Persei still do not have this option. That's ok wait for the updated touch button top. and you'll get sorted out

What is the serial number on the top opposite the button?

V2-0186

Any idea when that will be coming out and the cost associated with that upgrade? Just want to be prepared...

As it is, I love the device, on/off is obviously not a deal-breaker for me, just would be nice to have the option.

Thanks again fellas!

To me the top that really needs the 5-click on/off is the hammer top. When that top's button is pushed, it can stay on for two minutes. A lot can happen after a momentary press of the Hammer button if an attachment is hooked up.

And yes I know attachments probably shouldn't be on the tops when traveling/storing, or the batteries in the tube. But it's convenient to pocket the whole device when in a hurry.

The touch button sounds promising. As much as I like mechanical switches, during long sessions it can be hard on the finger, like when keeping the button down on the black rod herc .
