Skeena, I see you can get that mainly in Canada. I looked online it's some pretty potent meds. I didn't see anywhere in the states where it's available. It doesn't taste like tuna., it's a name from a black market drug group from the 70s.

Leafly gave it 9 1/2 stars. You don't always see that.

Yeah it gets the name because it was supposedly shipped in tuna cans, one ounce stuffed in a can.

Yeah the stuff is nice, however I doubt the actual name because the place never(I mean never) runs out of it.

edit: I also rarely go there because I am a snob when it comes to bad customer service.

No glamour shots of my stash, as I think it'll take too long (without much reward).

As I am a relatively new patient searching for natural anxiety relief, I have been trying out different strains to see what works. Pax in the picture because... well, I like it. :p Newly purchased this past week: Premium Jack and Green Crack

Top: Sour Tsunami, Premium Jack (linked as Jack Herer on Leafly), Green Crack.
Second: Sweet & Sour Widow (CBD White Widow), Tiny testers of Blue Dream and Cherry Pie, and a GSC preroll (that I may just unroll and vape soon)
Third: Tangerine (no other information, sadly, and the dispensary I got it from no longer carries it)
Bottom: Larry OG, Girl Scout Cookies, Berry White, and Cannatonic

And the cover, for fun.

I love that cabinet and those jars. As for your tangerine, try searching for Tangie (also spelled Tan-G at some places). DNA Genetics started the strain, and it's fucking amazing. Smells just like fresh tangerine.

Nice!
What is your take on the CANNATONIC?

On an etiquette level, do you guys actually ask for the lab results? I always think, what stops the dispensary from just putting up random lab results. Or what steps them from swapping out buds and the batch of SLH you're looking at wasn't the one tested? Or the tested batch came from months and months ago?

That's the first thing I think of when I see buds that look like "top mids" rather than "top shelf" having ratings at 20%+. I've also been assuming that the flowers rated just as high as top shelf but being priced cheaper than the top shelf stuff is just more stale.

I don't need to ask. Places that get my business actively test and present the results to their customers. But it's mostly about trust after buying from a dispensary for a bit. You know their product is good, there's no worry about the bait-and-switch (which I have seen before) and stuff like that. Reputation is big in this business, and I've seen more than one place start to tank after people rightly called them out on their shit on weedmaps. :whip:

Besides outright misrepresentation, there are mistakes some dispensaries make with testing. Some test first. And they purchases the same strain from that same vendor later and just use the old results, even though it's a different crop. I've even seen one that tests each strain once, and use those results for any crop of that strain from any vendor, even if the genetics are from different banks! Sometimes they don't share the results if a strain is way behind in the race. So many games,

And don't get me started on those photos they put up on the web. They just shrug when I ask about it, and try to distract me with some blonde crumble. :dog:

The places I've trusted the most were pretty up front about how testing is for the customers, and doesn't totally account for quality and effectiveness of medicine for an individual user. I'm sure many have had a 23% tested strain that didn't feel as strong as another that tested 20% or even less. I love finding these hidden gems, the stuff they sell as 'outdoor', or 'organic' that just kicks ass.

Really it's about trust. And trust takes time to build.

The difference between 23% and 25% isn't enough to keep me up at night. Happy vaping.
