Since the place you bought from is such an "awesome" website how do you know you even received a legitimate SCS product?

Given that your experience doesn't match the huge amount of additional customer feedback available for these products, I'd be inclined to look at alternative reasons for your issues before trying to torpedo an entire company based off a single experience.

With the info given in your rant/post I'd be inclined to think they sold you a damaged/defective product or you got a knockoff SCS... which may also have been damaged and/or defective.

Look at it like this. I hear Honda makes reliable cars. If I go buy one from Uncle Sal's Primo Awesome Car Sales Lot and it breaks on me on the way home my first reaction isn't to go online and put Honda on blast.

Also I don't really consider $65 "almost $100". Just saying.

So buying a grinder from EZgrinders.com is like buying a used honda from a used car lot? Maybe you guys should delete this dude's post for attacking EZgrinders.com huh?

This thread was not intended for back and forth discussion/argument between members. It's a feedback thread and you're done with yours. Considering all your posts on your experience, you're more than done with this topic.

So I contacted EZgrinders.com I let them know what happened. It has only been a week and a half, almost two weeks sense I purchased it. I was pretty hopeful again. However they told me that its been too long. Even though it only took 1 week for it to chip, at the end of that week they won't do a thing. I guess the warranty doesn't mean a thing? They also said once it has been used, at all, even if cleaned out, they won't take it back. Which is also what I was saying. Also like I said in my other post that you guys deleted. I am not sure how buying a NEW grinder from EZgrinders.com is like buying a USED car from a used car lot. Also EZgrinders.com is supposed to be a good retailer for Santa Cruz, I did research into it before making my purchase. I'm not sure why you guys are trying to act like I got a knock off grinder from a knock off website. I'm also not sure why you are saying that my experience is different then everybody's so I much be full of crap. In fact if you ask me this less frequent negative feedback is just as important as all of the positive. That is what this discussion is supposed to be about.

Also on one final note my replies that you deleted in the other post were not trying to go on about the same thing, but rather I was trying to respond to the people that replied to me, like I just did. Maybe now that I was both replying to them, and adding more on the topic after I contacted them, this one won't be deleted.

If it was me I would contact scs, send them a pic of the damage and make a warranty claim for defective merchandise. That way at least you would know if you got a lemon or not, and can let us know how it goes. It would be helpful for the forum to confirm that ezvapes is indeed an scs authorized retailer.

edit: Maybe post the damage pic here as well, not many scs complaints of this nature so I'm curious.

If it was me I would contact scs, send them a pic of the damage...
That would have been my 1st move.. to get it on record, even if they were to send you back to your "seller", the maker would already be advised.
SCS should know about this, as the maker.
I do know that there is a 100% return guarantee if not satisfied on Space Case.
While I prefer SCS I do not find any warranty information or return policy on the SCS website.
I still think they will help you.
Use a little "pull".. and refer them to your selected posts here on FC.
(It will get there attention.... their response could go either way~)

I have now contacted the makers of the Santa Cruz grinder, and they seem like awesome people. I am not sure if I can get a another one, because I have no way to take a picture of the grinder. However they have told me that if I was able to send them a picture, they would send me another one. I guess its possible they may send me one anyways, as I replied to them explaining that I have no way to take a picture, but I am not counting on it. I can understand why they wouldn't. I will let you guys know how they reply though.

I am starting to think it was defective, maybe in the coating. Not only did it have the two chips on the threads when it arrived, it also had a weird silver blemish on one of the top pieces. Then you have the 3rd chip showing up quickly.

I know a few people that I could probably trouble with coming over to take a picture of the grinder. However Santa Cruz them self's got back to me. I told them I for sure understood that they probably couldn't help me without me being able to provide a picture. However they are so awesome they are throwing in a free mini grinder when I order one from them. Those things cost 50 bucks. I wanted to come back and post and give credit to the awesome company that is Santa Cruz.
 
hello everyone im sorry to have my first post to be of a negative nature but ive had the week from hell with that namastavapes.ive been vaping for a good few year 3-5 i cant remember,i bought the herbalaire maybe 3-5 year ago or more,my first one.still running now never a problem.i needed a portable so i bought the solo when they first came out,great machine but it was a pain having to carry the glass pipe around in a glasses case and its not very discreet so i sold me m8 it for use in his house mainly.so i did a bit research and found a new one that would be ideal as it has the bullets and i had a cartridge kit.well like hundreds of others the c.nt melted.(pinacle pro)i contacted the lad i bought it off,he sent them details and this nick said no problem send it back.i sent it to an address in ireland £4:30 they got it last saturday.i give the instruction in a letter like they asked,(exchange for dav ascent)my address/carbon fibre model and the water tool adapter as they said to keep the water tool or gbong.this is where the chat and that went wrong,i think they are in a hurry to get yer money and thats it,i may be wrong but ive read a lot of bad things so far.anyway after all the agro,the lad said they would post it off wedensday,i got no tracking number till today fedex,champion i thought.i check fedex online chat and the responce nice,please hold why we confirm etc.(unlike namastevapes chat trish)they said it would be with me by 6pm.i sent that message to the lad i bought it off.within 5 minutes he said they have sent him it ffs i thought.then when i try to mention out on facebook they just block it.i get a message off this lad saying he,s a managing director or something,called sean,saying to give me my number,i write a hole page out,go to send and it says block.im fuming really to the point i want to chop there heads off. they have blocked my facebook post,waited 10 minutes on the live chat this after first bit of chat,i had to switch off in the end.i really do think a lot of people will get stung by these flyby companys it probably will be gone soon.they have sold fakes.i had a lung full of plastic when mine melted.do they care,i mean i hear people saying they are they just good copy,s maybe not all namasts stuff but hey do these fakes have medical grade parts and plastic caseins etc.they killing peoples lungs they might as well smoke tobacco ! vaping supposed to be healthier hey.anyway i got a refund off the guy i bought it off but im still down the £4:30 for sending it off,and all my time wasted with them this week.not to mention ive not been able to go out as i need one to do my thing.reviews need to be done a few month after buying or when they break down not on how fast they ship.the pinacle would of been the bees knees had they not made it for oil/waxes,look at whats happened through trying to appease everyone,i mean its the ideal stealth vape for me had it just went up to the top herb temp.bullets alread loaded with herb,where can u be stealthy burning oils and waxes resins etc.well this journeys not over with yet.does anyone know where i can buy a real safe ascent or something,i got it down to pin pro/ascent i dont think the pax will be right for me.if anyone has read all this thanks,from a very frustrated lad.

As a Pax owner for over 2 years, I can not fully endorse it to anyone. It's really awesome when it is working correctly and you aren't cleaning it, but the cleaning ritual is a little tiresome and I just hear of too many of them having to go back to Ploom- mine included. I still use it, a lot, and I actually like it. I won't trade it or sell it, and obviously if it breaks again I will warranty it again. Freinds of mine that use it all say they must own one, "What an awesome device" they say. Then I try and talk them out of it. It's a funny, love/hate relationship I have with it. Anyway- enough of that.

I recently bought a Solo from Puff it up.com and it was a good experience. They also sell the Ascent.

I feel the same about the Firefly, except its downfall is not the cleaning (which I am lazy with anyway..) but moreso the price. To get it to Australia was over $300, so I always suggest an Arizer Solo or MFLB instead. They all adore the firefly though and say they want one but they won't be as lucky as me with my battery situation.. (I have 4 batteries total)

I avoid using my Pax, because that is one use closer to having to clean it!

Nice bubbler. I have one very similar to yours, the vapor brothers mini bubbler, and I absolutely love it. I like yours because it is less than half the cost. Like the least amount of diffusion for flavor

Thank you. I really like it a lot. Pipes Daddy has already sent me a replacement piece. Well, USPS tracking said a label was created on January 10th, so hopefully soon. :)

With as competitive as vaporizer retailers are, it is difficult for any retailer, especially the little guy, to stand out as exceptional or a company that goes above and beyond. As a vendor, stickstones provided this level of experience. The customer service and response time was spot on and instantanious. The extras and freebies, were the best i have ever received.

Sticks provided me some free tubing to help support connections and stiffness on the herbie whip, a real nice pipe tool with case that works great to change herbie screens, some degummed hemp fiber, some powdered brewers wash (PBW) and even my first ever JyARz This was an excellent group of extras, and i instantly fell in love with the JyARz for its portability.

Thanks again sticks. I highly recommend anyone work with him in the future. The best service one could ask for. No one else out there is giving this many awesome extras. Beats the hell out of the standard acrylic grinder freebie from most sites.

IamKrazy2 said everything perfectly. I just wanted to add the customer service. I think he gets to understand members by their posts and matches you with the right vape. Also, love the interaction to make the vape function just the way you want. He is good ppl you want to do business with.
