Massdrop Sales

Honestly, I was in your shoes a few months ago. A combuster looking for a good portable vape for use around the home (didn't need ultra stealth) and out over friend's houses.. The Ascent surely converted me to vaping, but I personally regret spending what I did for this vape. (I value the vape around $150, far lower than any vendor is currently selling it). Sure they have worked out some issues, but I still think DV has a bit more tweaking to the design before it's worth $250 (in my opinion).
Just committed to Mass Drop for the Ascent at $159. Hopefully that price will go through and I will join the club.

So Massdrop sells some pretty awesome toking gear and I have my eye on this grinder. It's got good reviews, looks classy as hell, and is 30 dollars off. I also like the replaceable/removable screens (easier cleaning).

Anyway, you guys should get in on it here

My Massdrop/Simba nightmare is almost over. It is ending with me having to pay $34 for the Ti nail and getting the rest refunded back.

It pisses me off because they told me they would replace the defective pipe for me with a white lion matrix. I even paid the difference. That was early last week. They never said anything about sending the nail back.

So I sent the pipe out late last week. Then yesterday Andy emails me saying that I need to return the nail with the defective piece for them to honor the replacement. I told him that was never communicated to me and that I wouldn't have minded sending it back had it been mentioned a week ago but at this point I don't want to deal with any more hassle regarding this transaction. The response I got from him basically said "tough shit...we want the nail back."

I have never had an online shopping experience go this badly. Simba is responsible for the garbage product but Massdrop's customer service is fucking horrendous. I know I personally will never do business with them again...I don't care how good of a deal it is.

7 days left to get in on the SCS storage container drop. 20% off.(around $12.00)

I don't understand where you're getting the $12 from (?)

It's going for $20, which is 20% off of the retail of $25, for a savings of $5.

Am I missing something?

Hey guys, general massdrop question. Since I committed for the LSV at $140, if it doesn't reach that by the end (10hrs away), will I have an option to buy it at the current price? Or do I have to place a separate order? If it doesn't reach $140 I suppose $160 is still a good price based on the advertised price of $190 on the 7th floor website.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

I don't know if they allow you to change after it closes. But they are pretty responsive so if you contact them directly they'd probably let you in at the highest price it goes for.
Also I think that you can cancel before the item closes. So you could do that and then re-buy at the higher price. That way you'd get it at whatever price it went for.

I recently created a poll on Massdrop of what seemed to be some of the more popular vaporizers around here. I went for what I'd call a middle price range ($200-$300) as I feel this gets people a good bang for their buck. I'd appreciate any fellow members voting on it and also please contact me if you have any thoughts as I'd love to hear them.

Personally I voted for the E-nano as I don't think I've heard a single bad word about it. I thought it would be cool to get a product on there actually suggested and voted for by this community instead of the usual Volcanoes that I tend to see on there. Not that I've got a problem with the volcano of course, it's just not for me.

From reading the conditions of that promotion they put on getting a free item it looks like they're designed to be easily avoided by Massdrop so I doubt it. Call me suspicious but considering they say the drop would have to be before 19th June and they are the ones that organize the drop, in my mind that means they could just wait a few days after that date to run the drop. Otherwise, I can't see why they'd put such a short time period on the promotion.

The main reason I made the poll was because I'd like give the community a chance to get a quality vape at a discount and also hopefully raise the awareness of the vapes that we at FC love. However, I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised by actually getting one but I'm certainly not expecting to.

Edit: I wanted to add that I made a tough decision for myself by making the choice available for both the E-nano and the Underdog, I know from my own personal experience that the Underdog is an awesome vape. My thinking was that I believe Epicvape are a larger company so they might be more able to offer a larger discount. Also I think Dave has enough trouble already keeping up with the Underdog orders since they're so popular.

Massdrop poll for Vacuum Chamber Kits.

Needs 200 votes to contact vendor. Prices on the poll are wierd. Look at the manufacturer's website for their current retail price.
Kit is chamber/lid, pump and hose.

The E-Nano just dropped - https://www.massdrop.com/buy/e-nano-vaporizer-2

$159.99 + $8.48 shipping when 15 people commit... That's about 16% off with my math. I think I'd rather purchase direct using the "FCLOVE" coupon code to get 10% off, a better warranty, and faster delivery.

Agree with most of this. Why would the warranty be different? Andy makes them all, right? They both list a 3-year warranty.

FC members get a lifetime warranty for everything except the glass.

Cool. I'm glad to know that, since it applies directly to my situation. Thanks.

Edit: Are we certain that the lifetime warranty does not apply to the massdrop for folks that are FCers? I'm asking because I have someone interested in this drop.
