What exactly is confusing you? It's about PlanetVape. Nothing has changed. @grokit accused PV of making lies up about him, something easily dis-proven by simply reading the relevant parts of the Sublimator thread. Calling another member a liar is against our rules so he got a warning point.

No one has been told not to post gripes, if that's what you're implying. While @Vitolo has chosen to emphasize the positive reasons for this thread, it also exists for customers who have legitimate complaints but they must be expressed in accordance with our policies, as I laid out a few posts back.

I don't know about your other forums, but here our rules are the same for all manufacturers and vendors, whether they are sponsors or not. Anyone is allowed to make a criticism as long as it is done respectfully. You get one post to state your case. After that, further posts about the issue must include new information or answer questions. Simply repeating your complaint is not allowed.

Whoa folks.
Just trying to point out that this thread was wandering pretty far afield with all the back and forth and conflicting points of view.
I've been a long time customer of PV (got my first/Ceramic Solo from them) and they only real issue I've had is the one we all share and that is hitting the site at the right time to get certain items. Threads like this certainly help (although if you don't read it soon enough you can even still miss items).
In the interests of full disclosure I will admit that I didn't read all the details of each of the contestants as they really didn't seem to concern me or the thread at large and would seem to have been more appropriate to the Conversation mode for all wanted to add to it.
I did think that PV posted a reasoned and informative response to all the uproar and would appear open to helpful and reasonable suggestions.

Just ordered two straight PVHES stems w/tube. Woo hoo!

I know it can be a wait sometimes, but it's worth the wait IMO. Thanks PV, you really care about your customers, and thanks for all of the specialty items that help enhance our vaporizing experience.

I have never witnessed anything quite like this in my life. FC staff and fellow vendors chiming in this thread burying legitimate complaints and concerns while steering the direction of the conversation, people pleading with me via PM not to complain in this thread, etc. Did I hear someone mention planetvape is a forum sponsor? My impression is that this forum is more of a marketing platform than a community or discussion board. Deplorable.

And PlanetVape's official response to my feedback/issues was that it "honestly made us laugh"? Am I the only one who saw that? Your response honestly made me laugh (albeit out of disappointment). I cannot believe you posted that publicly... wow

I'm just going to speak up ... I've been thinking about restocking my Solo stems etc (sold my old Solo to a friend who really needed one ... almost gave it away ... and recently bought another newest model).

I use a Zapubbler (no longer can be purchased) with my MiniVAP as a heavy hitting portable, but also wanted to get a couple 14mm PVHES Turbo GonG's for my new Solo but hadn't gotten around to ordering yet (also needed some extra screens). A month or so ago I was cleaning my Zapubbler, and it just tilted sideways in the jar of alcohol and hit the side of the glass jar in such away that it snapped in two! Not knowing what to do as there are no glass blowers or anything like that anywhere around here I e-mailed Robert at PV about it, and he responded after receiving pictures that he could have it fixed for $30 or he could have a custom fBomb created for me (based on my specs) to also work with my MiniVAP.

For $30, I figured, what the heck, can't go wrong so I sent it to be repaired. I also indicated at the time I needed 2 PVHES Turbo GonG 14mm and some screens and left it at that. Just got everything back and am super pleased with the work and everything. The PVHES Turbo GonG's are perfect ... really well made and significantly enhance the performance of my Solo even over my prior PVHES stems/GonGs.

Since there is a score line from the lathe in the Zapubbler from the repair, they didn't charge me anything for the repair either! It's on the house! Just because its not "perfect"!

Hats off to PV yet again for their phenomenal customer service. I've been in contact with them for a while about the PVHES stems too, and my timing was just good for packaging them in with my Zapubbler repair.

If anyone is "on the fence" regarding planetvape - I understand. Considering all the recent back-and-forth and conflicting feedback between hopeful/prospective customers vs. the senior members of this forum, staff, and vendors. I wouldn't know what to believe either...

Don't let my, or any one else's, negative experience dissuade you from trying to place an order with this company. Some say they make great products, and in the case of a few products - there are no alternative manufacturers or distributors to deal with anyways. So what's the harm in visiting the page (maybe several times over the course of a few weeks) and trying to place an order? Probably none. I only hope you all have better luck than I did. And if you don't and happen to voice your concerns in a forum like this (like I did on the previous page) - I hope your feedback is taken seriously and you are treated with respect - I don't feel I was.

Happy vape'ing all. I will just have to love my solo the way it is - without any bells and whistles. Life could be worse lol.

Nobody buried any complaints. Nothing was removed. No one was told not to post, at least not that I'm aware of. What happens in PMs is between the participants, since staff can't and doesn't want to read PMs.

You reveal your ignorance of FC with your impression. If you knew anything about this forum you would know that the members here have chased off more vendors and manufacturers than the number who have stayed. The threads are full of complaints, including the ones for sponsors.

You joined specifically to complain about PlanetVape. That's fine, but apparently because I'm a moderator you think the only reason I posted was because PV is a sponsor. As I already said, I posted because I thought the criticisms were unfair, and we don't need yet another commercial member leaving. If this were the forum you say you think it is, you would have been labeled a troll and banned. Yet here you are, still posting exaggerated and inaccurate descriptions of what has gone on without as much as a warning. How can this be? :hmm:

And when you do that your stay here is likely to be a short one. Our rules allow criticism/complaint but repeated company and/or product bashing without any additional info or updates isn't allowed here or on any decent forum.

Planetvape isn't perfect. I've complained about them myself, on a special FC bubbler they promised but have yet to deliver on. But overall they're one of the very best vape resellers out there, with quite a few specialty items that nobody else carries/produces. They have good prices and service and any vaporizer fan should be glad they're in business.

New FC discount codes on the way, old ones had to be removed due to abuse by non FC members. We value all our FC customers and those that ordered mentioning their FC membership had a freebie added to their order to approx. match the old discount.
If you are ordering from PV, just make a note that you are a FC member until they get some new codes made... or you could always try contacting them via phone or e-mail.

There are no codes on our site anymore and if they have FC codes listed on their site that aren't working, of course you contact them about that issue. We list the info that the vendors provide- nothing more.

PV does rock. But they would rock even more if they produced an FC member discount code. I've been stalling my order just to support this company...not sure how much longer I can wait, even after an email inquiry.

Then again, even without the discount, PV always have impressed me with their customer service and just general friendliness.
