I hope that's the case. The XP has always been my favorite portable on the market (when it worked!). Outside of the USB port issues and slow customer service complaints, the XP is pretty unmatched imo. Taste could be a little better, but the 05 brings glass! :D

Very excited for the INH05. Hopefully customer service for my warranty is quick and painless. If so, then we can expect a top seller for sure!
im in on this one when it comes out!:)

Will local pick up be available?

@cawshook YES local pickup is very much welcomed! come get your unit, hang out at the bar, restaurant, vape lounge!
The factory is above it, so if your chillin in the vape lounge and decide you want batteries, water tool, capsules, etc, they're just a stones throw away!

If you are in the Montreal area and would like to come hang out at pharmacor and pick up your new INH05 when its ready, email Greg at sales@inhalater.com and let him know you want to come pick it up!

@hiphiphooray email greg and ask him! I hope you can!

I talked to Greg on the phone today and he said things are rolling along smooth and 2-3 weeks he should start shipping if all stays as well as is now.
You were probably told 3-4 so there's a buffer if there's a hiccup. hopefully no hiccups and we'll be getting them sooner!

@hiphiphooray Did you find out about getting an05 replacement for your XP?

The 60$ upgrade is from the warranty to replace and XP with an 05. Otherwise I can get a replacement XP for free.

Sounds awesome man! You guys are lucky up there.

My XP still going strong, just waiting on forum members to get their 05s then I'll be in for one later down the road.. XP still my daily driver over all other vapes :)

Just got an email from Fred at Inhalater. Very timely response (the next day). Customer service seems to be much better.

He told me two important things:
INH05 will ship out in 3-4 weeks.

It's a $60 fee to upgrade your XP to an INH05.
So If mine isnt broken I can upgrade for 60? @Inhalater can you clarify?

i am really curious what is the working difference between the xp and the INH05...what are the different specs other than the cap clickiing on the back and the new capsules?is it going to produce better vapor?or just visual differences?
Lets see here...improved specifications....and you already mentioned the cap clicking onto the bottom switch which was requested by someone whom has issues gripping the small switch.... very cool and maybe I won't loose the cover now.....oh and it is a bit shorter .25" .... Yea IMO I guess their nice to have but the real big bang is going to be the overall build quality....

1. USB problems expected to be a thing of the past {remember 4 prong resolution}
2. Body is quite a bit lighter now in your hand and a little shorter too
3. Let us NOT forget about the huge bonus that came along with fixing the USB... we now have battery replacement on the fly folks..... I can tell you first hand that is so awesome......

Your with friends and your XP is beginning to show signs..... it is taking too long to get to temp then before you know it...the little engine that just can't.....awwwww .... but wait....fear not....pop of the switch cap and slide out the tired battery and slip in a new freshly charged ready to go..forget about it...

Does it produce better vapor....this question is a bit more difficult as it is subjective to defining "better vapor" so I can only give IMHO.... YES
I feel the recent rework to the heating chamber has done exactly what they were hoping it would.... which was to reduce hot spots...bringing the chamber to its ideal temperature more evenly looking to improve the taste {"better"} which it does.....

Harshness on the back of my throat seemed to be improved as well......

I suspect though that by "better" you might really be referring to "more" vapor..... and I'm also going to assume you are referring to being compared to your current XP's vapor production....
That is a bit like asking if this years Corvette is gonna be "better" than last years....
Difficult to quantify "more" .... I can say I noticed a cap tends to go a bit longer using my Beta INH05. and by the same token my XP seems to give me vapor sooner and it maybe just a tad denser but I find the density a difficult thing to measure because it is controlled by temp which is controlled by users...

My XP using the Polyimide caps will give me popcorn taste towards the end...whereas the INH05 doesn't..... therefore the taste is better......

Hope some of this was helpful in answering your question......:peace:

In anticipation of receiving my 05 soon, I am looking to buy a couple extra batteries with an external charger.

In researching batteries I see there are 'protected' and 'unprotected' cells available with varying capacities of 2400 - 5000 mAh.

Any ideas on which is best for the inhalater?

Also wondering how easy it is to replace.

It could be nice that you ship it soon, cause my wife and daughter will take 2 weeks out of the house!

Nice time to do a hard testing!

better this than the pnp. inhalater has a very good reputation amongst the vaporizer community.
