I'm so glad it fit your solo as well. I was a bit Leary of that part. How does it perform on the solo?
Breathes perfectly on the Solo - the bottom rung of grip beads catches as a stopper on the Solo cap so that the bowl rim is elevated just a hairs-breath above the stainless steel heater base, so convection works as it should. Heating the herb to temp takes a little longer due to the extra thickness of the glass, which I like a lot. The extra thick glass holds the heat longer as well. So all-in-all I think both conduction AND convection are enhanced with your design - the dense vapor production proves it for me! Thanks again for bringing all of us a GREAT vape enhancer. Go forth & prosper JoDa Glassworks!!! The Universe awaits!

EDIT: I believe this should fit my upcoming newborn Underdog pup as well!!! WoWoWoW!!!

Got my 14mm GonG today! That was quick!!
I'm pretty damned pleased!! I only asked for some slime colored bubbly nub thingys and they turned out great!!! I tried to get some contrasting backgrounds to make the green pop more.

Its just a tiny bit taller than my PVHES GonG but soooo much beefier and sturdy. Quality.

Thanks again V&C!!! As always, you never fail to amaze.

Get in on this people..... Imagine all the colors and other wackiness that can ensue. Let your imaginations run wild.

I have yet to put it through the testing phases as I just got home and wanted to show it off. Plus, my basket screens are still on the way. Until I get to the research lab, here are pics.

ETA:
K.... I couldn't wait for my basket screens so I MacGuyver'd somthing up to use it with my PNWT. (I basically just used bigger chunks and no screen)
All I can say is HOORAY!!! and add this guy ------> :science:

I imagine it is equivalent to a PVHES Turbo GonG with maximum airlfow. Since its new.. the stem is tight as hell! but in a good way! So much so, I didnt even need my o-ring.

I love everything about it. Can't wait for my basket screens from EpicVape!

Can't wait to see what V&C has next up his sleeve!

Thanks again V&C!!

A few notes: The Nano basket screen goes in much more easily than into the stock Nano Gongs and stems; the 45 degree bend in the stem only requires a 6 inch snip off of a coat hanger with a little bend in it, covering the tip with a small wad of soft padding so as not to scratch the inner glass - can be pushed out and adjusted through the top or bottom of stem - simple and efficient; entry into the Solo heater bowl requires a bit of effort - it is a very snug secure fit that won't rotate or fall out; heavy glass stem build oozes quality through & through. I'll be needing a V&C Gong next!

I just signed up for a basic course in turning glass beads, intended to be followed by several advanced courses and finishing in a 4-part course on boro. Also, it's a slow day at work and I am sitting here with 2 taped pens of different diameters, doing dry practice.

I wanted to thank @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd for the inspiration and even more, motivation. I am stuck in routine that makes me anything but happy and for the longest time I just couldn't find a way out, as stupid as those things may be. I don't expect to make a livelyhood of this, but the kind of anticipation and joy I currently feel has eluded me for way to long.

Oh, also, the glass has arrived and I have been told it's exceptionally beautiful! Pictures as soon as I can get my hands on it. :)

Well then place your orders. Lol.

Congrats @Herr_Dampf it'll change your life!

Also @Herr_Dampf take a piece of chewing gum and chew it for about a minute (so it's really soft) then stick that between 2 pens or dowels or whatever and practice on that. Try to make sure you make even revolutions with both hands as not to twist the gum up. It's one of the best practices I used while preparing for this. The gum is one of the closest feeling things to molten glass. Still there's nothing like the glass. Also get on amazon and order contemporary lampworking volumes 1 and 2 by bandhu s Dunham and thank me later.

Thanks, allready looking out for it (my quest didn't just start yesterday as you can sure imagine).
That chewing gum idea is great, will do so!
Did it like this so far, but the gum allows for much less cheating ;)

Maybe we should do some kind of glassworks thread? Couldn't find one via search.

Ok guys still have all of these left somehow.
nuSsnqa.jpg

So pick any 2 for 32$ shipped (so long as you're in the US). I could use to re-up on some supplies.

And to those that have orders in from this last week they will go out mid week. There was some confusion in my last raw glass order and I was sent the wrong supplies. It's being remedied currently. Thanks for your patience and you know I'll toss something in the box to make it right.

Edit: wanted to mention that these fit the nano as well as the underdog.

I was actually just reading that article last night. I try to follow every glass artist I can. If I'm not blowing glass I'm learning all I can about it with quite a bit of testing it sprinkled throughout! Lol. It takes big time dedication if you wish to advance quickly in this game. I actually just lost Ms.V&C partly because of my new found path in life. That's the kind of dedication I'm putting forth! Plus I'm always trying to out-do the me from yesterday. Satisfaction is the death of innovation. If your satisfied with what you have you'll never reach for a higher goal.

Also the mega Mai tai, the slyme, and the half blood stems have now been sold.

I'm having a bad GAS day. Started by the post office screwing up delivering a new cheap Chinese bubbler and then my beloved JoDa stem fell off the bed and broke :( guess I'll have to put in a new order soon. Gotta wait a bit on some funds though.

My first worked piece:D Hard as hell to get a good picture with all the color changes. Nearly every star has a small piece of opal in it, with 7 larger chunks throughout the piece. It was the first time I saw a piece and knew I had to have it. Hands down my favorite piece of glass I've ever owned

@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd any chance you could make a dabber that could match this type of glass? I know its kinda hard to tell

I'm already in line for a black and white full set up and stems, figured it would hurt to add another piece if possible?:D
