Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Mister G

Deceptively Old Fart
The following is on MassDrop right now. I would never buy this myself and I don't think it's the best thing for vaporizers, but I just find the concept very cool and if I was still a combuster, I'd be intrigued. The price (<$80) makes it qualify for this thread, but the material does not. Imagine how disgusting the ice would get as you smoke out of it and the mess it would make as it melts in the summertime.

Yup, it's a mold that makes a bong out of ice!!!

Dabs are vapor too!
Ordered my Kathy recycler on the 6th, got it on the 14th, not bad considering the Chinese had a holiday in there. Packed like sunshinestore – bombproof.

It’s 7 ¼” tall, can about 3 ¼” and weighs 5 ozs. 14mm male, direct inject to 3 hole diffy. This is only my 2nd China piece, but it’s much better than my D020. No spots, scuffs or scratches, no leaks or cracks. Overall alignment is very nice, but not perfect. Joints are smooth and solid, but a couple have a visible “joint” in the weld.

Mouthpiece is comfortable, but your lips go around it, rather than against, as you might think before you try it. I spent some time trying to get it to vortex –just for fun, and it actually does, kind of intermittently. I had the water just under the bulb for this. The water level is to high this way IMHO. If the water is just above the swell at the base, it seems to hit best, but the recycler doesn’t get very full this way. The drag is just about right however, and no chance of water in the mouth due to the recycler. The nail is a good distance from the face, especially with this DI nail, it sits pretty low.

These smaller pieces are really popular for oil rigs, the theory being smaller chamber, less condensation, less diffusion, more taste. I was using the D020 as my dab rig previously, so this one is smaller, but not a huge difference. I would say taste is improved somewhat. The downside to this rig is the tubes are small diameter, so cleaning is different. ISO swish might be better for this one.

well.. just received my 187, although a bit smaller then I'd imagined *2 1/2 lighters stacked tall* /not mouthpiece, it had a nice weight, looked nice aside one defect... and the fact it looked like it was cleaned with salt with some weird leftover residue out the box, one weird tiny piece still remains* took 8 days from china to california, I think where I get upset is where I went extensively out of my way to get one that didnt have a rice sized chunk missing aside the edge of the main flower joint 'dwarr joint?' , it doesn't affect function, but I am positive with enough pressure I could draw blood, now understanding these china pieces; I asked multiple times for it to be double checked as I had a bit of anxiety ordering out of country, especially with it being advertised as flawless, as far as im concerned with how the picture was advertised, and how I would be getting a special one picked personally from Lamin. I figured with the popularity, not everyone would get a perfect one. I didn't ask for a replacement especially considering they are now sold out anyway, but I would be a liar if I said I didnt want one especially after pics sent. Will post soon, always have issues with links on this site. Just irritating when your told one thing and sent another

Got my Tornado and BTOC double barrel recycler. BTOC actually shipped a few days later than the tornado but they both showed up today.

The Tornado is made really well. It takes some effort to get it going but its a very well made piece. The double barrel is a lot smaller than I expected. Im not sure Ill keep it. Its made really well and works nice, its just a tad small for my liking. The Tornado is about as small as I like my pieces.

Also received my tornado today, the D020-Q. Very impressed with the quality, well worth the price paid. Shipping speed was also great (ordered on the 7th).

I did a quick function test after cleaning it and @PoopMachine is correct, it does take some effort to get it going. I also ended up with a mouthful of water on one instance. Referencing @jambandphan03's video, I think I put too much water in, so I will test that next.

As far as novelty, this piece is going to be great when friends are over. I doubt it will be my daily driver, but it is an awesome piece none the less. Very satisfied with my purchase.

My ash catcher from SS arrived. 9 days is impressive, especially seeing that I ordered it on a Saturday. It is nearly perfect, only a very slight horizontal angle to the MP connection. I plan to use it with the Lotus and the GL j-hook. Looks like it will be perfect for that.

I am entertained to see how many went for the Smokenado. It should be creating smiles for some time. :)
I must say it is tempting, but I think I will save up for the Cory Glass incycler, assuming I can put the $ together before he drops the FC break on it.

Yeah I'll agree that this cyclone does take some effort to get started, but I found you can gently coax the water into the first part of the draw, then once it's spiraling up pull harder and you don't have to work as hard with lung power, just have to be more patient in the start up. Once it gets to full speed, I notice it just churns and bobbles around anyway, the fun part is at the very beginning of the draw. Watching it spiral up the middle...:whoa:

100% spot on.

It almost feels like sipping (gulping) from a large straw. Slow is best.

Also noticed when clearing that it takes a bit more effort due to vaper still residing in the bottom chamber (the hollowed base). Basically, I'd clear, then notice some milky air in the bottom chamber being forced out the down stem. Easily fixed though, this guy is awesome.

Edit: must use in front of a mirror. fucking beautiful.

Got my replacement 194 in today from Yingmin5!

I was starting to worry because it sat in San Francisco for 1 week :\

I am happy to report that this one has no cracks! It had water in it after unwrapping it so I am glad they test the replacements before sending them :)

I need to get on my video posts... I unfortunately have errands to run tonight but tomorrow will be video madness, as well as some reviews on the new vape nails that I promised like a week ago :( sorry guys and gals! I'll get on it right after work tomorrow!

And my Kathy Hitman Planet knock off Rigs got into San Fran yesterday so hopefully Cali doesn't make me wait over a week again haha

So you got yours? Where is your review? :whip:Did I miss it, lol

Yingmin added his own spiral today:

Or has this one been posted before?

Looks like it may take a lil less effort to get the water churning.

GB-189 with a top mounted mouth piece rather than sidecar. I own one (GB-189) and it is great, but there is virtually no turbine action, just chaotic bubbles. If you're looking for a consistant-ish tornado effect, go with the D020-Q.

Does anyone have a recommendation for hydratube alternatives for use with the LSV without spending an arm and a leg? Thanks!
There is one on dhgate buts its tiny and I think youd be better off with the d020-d or something similar. The only other option is buying a 2.0 DLX water tube from pinnacle, I think you can get it cheaper off ebay. But IDK how useful a WT will be for the LSV, you cant really put the LSV down since its not made to stand like the cloud
