Is the wick going to be removable?

How are you approaching impurities building up?

I'm intrested in seeing induction vaping of flower, I've attempted it with some RF equipment ment for curing glue. Mixed results, but true RF vaporazation.

Hi Tim, you guessed it! The wick will be removable and you can throw it in alcohol overnight to clean it as well.

As far as the lumbar used in the Evoke, we would be open to suggestions and would ideally love to use a certified recycled.

Another question asked was whats the difference between the $79 and $99 Evoke? Just the price!

If I missed any questions, my apologies, we will be checking messages intermittently. Also you can email us any questions you have at hello@lotolabs.com

Cherry has been a staple in log vapes for a long time due to its density and sustainability. Maple and walnut are popular as well.

Hi, I contributed too with a loose leaf version, I would like to get both LL and EO version but I prefer to see if the LL works and perhaps I'll buy the EO version in the future....

I wonder if the $80 early bird can be used for the looseleaf version as well? For that price I may have to take the leap(/chance?)

Although still no word on a timeframe or state of progress I guess?

I also wonder about reloading herbs and chamber size?

And if much cooking goes on in between hits like a conduction session vape would? Is it constantly cooking or is it on demand vapor? What does the answer mean for the Evoke's efficiency?

I also forget about if there is temp control? Anybody try emailing @Loto Labs ?

Size wise I think its ok because of its narrow shape/contours and the way it fits enclosed in your fist (I think?). I'd rather sacrifice size slightly if it meant better function and battery life (arguably, at least for me, the firefly doesn't deliver on those benefits to outweigh its size/style...)

sure there is a early bird loose leaf perk (the one on top and the most sold so far!)
however, i would not expect it to be released anytime soon. definitely not this year anymore, I'd say

Hello FC Community,

Thanks for the support. Please see our updated faq here on indiegogo, as I believe it answered some questions here. Also were proud to show you how loose leaf works in our induction vaporizer demo. Also there has been some confusion about the price. The prices for crowdfunding are super special, the standard pricing will be around $250. Enjoy the video!

What's the power supply for the vid example? For the vapor to form, did extraction occur throughout the load, or at the outskirts? Can this mega-sized vid version be miniaturized to fit the palm sized Evoke, providing the same volume of extraction shown? I'd need to see it real size/real time. Otherwise, I'd rather wait for the market version, if that happens. Proof of concept at this point is not enough proof, IMO. Thanks & :peace::2c::2c:

Cool video. How would this work in the production version? Some kind of removable metal wire basket or chamber similar to the "bullets" seen in other portables?

I was about to pay for an early bird special for the looseleaf model, when I noticed something on the indiegogo campaign. It's marked as a "flexible funding" campaign, which in my opinion, is not good. Means they get to keep my money if they do not reach their goal, and there really is no guarantee that I will receive my product if their goal isn't met. If this were a "fixed funding" campaign, I would contribute in a heartbeat.
I really do like the concept and design, enough so to follow your progress!

Does this not handle that issue?

Taken front their FAQ:
"A. If our Evoke campaign is not successful we will refund everyone back their money. We are working hard to make sure it will be successful but one of the biggest contributions you can make is spreading the word. If you tell your friends and spread this campaign on Facebook, social sites, and forums, you will be instrumental in helping us reach our goal!"

I think the flexible funding is so in case theyre a little below goal, they can still opt to move forward and develop the product, eventually delivering to backers instead of losing it all. If its so low they really can't develop it, then they will refund all money. That's how I understand it at least

I'm still curious about loading/reloading herbs, but I guess I really just wonder about the model in general. It is one thing to show these scientific tests which are cool, but it is quite another to make that functionality actually effective as a mass production portable (why so many have failed in the portable market, regardless of tech). So even a working protoype or something could show more to mass market potential funders, or at the very least some more detailed looks into where things go exactly in the unit, we just need to have something more concrete to confidently support I think is what many are saying here?

I mean by all means say good thing about your Vaporizer, hype it up, etc....

Are you telling me and us that all the portables that we use daily put out burning Fiberglass and well uhh everything else negative here?

Probably should be reworded, I don't know much about e-cigs but do they all really do what that says, I mean would that not make them all toxic? Like everyone on the market....?

To be fair it does say in that Column "other vaporizers with coil heating" so I think this is a chart comparing their liquid/oil/wax vs other ecig type pens.

"Evoke’s induction heating vs all portable vaporizers" is what put me off I guess. Are they really still that bad though?
