Had my pup just about 7 weeks now and I love it!! Been combusting all my life and only fired up about 5 times in the last 7 weeks and I pet my pup daily. The first week I felt like I wanted to smoke but Im sure now it was just from habit. At first I was using the nylon more but it just wasnt holding enough for me so I have been using the glass 90% of the time. I was just reading these posts and saw @KidFated. posted a pic of exactly how one of mine looks after a tip 2 days ago. It cracked right in my pup on the core. I almost shed a tear myself kidfated! lol
Question, my glass is now pretty gunked up. I could have sworn i read that you can scrape out that residue? If not Im just going to iso it out.

Got a new leash for off grid adventuring with my pup in the mail this afternoon.
Haven't had a chance to test it yet since it's raining out but it's rated at 10 watts so it should work well.

I use the little metal picks that (used to? still do?) come with the underdog in the little test tubes. I use the blunt end of the really skinny one to scrape all I can, then toss that on top of some flowers and re-vape. You can do the same with your downstem, and even your water piece if you iso it and evap the alcohol. Assuming you're not also combusting in the piece, that would just taste terrible. If your res is really runny like mine usually is, dip it in some kief to give it some substance and extra oomph
.Iso-salt the rest of the glass to open that air path back up, and you're in business. It's surprising how much a few millimeters of res can restrict the draw, at least IME.
Been on that sober life for a few months, and probably a few more to go. Glad to know I've still got the pup waiting to be fired up if/when I decide to come back. She probably appreciates the break after couple of years of constant power anyway lmao.

Is there any certain way to turn off/unplug the dog to ensure no damage? Or does it not matter?

If you are using a VVPS then just turn it down to 9-10v.
If you are not using the VVPS and are using the standard wall plug only (NOT the VVPS wall plug directly to your dog as that is too much voltage) then just unplug from outlet or back of dog if outlet is not easily reachable.
I use the standard non-vvps wall plug and run 24/7 with no issues. Always ready for action.

If you're using the VVPS you can turn it 'off' with that (knob all the way left) which I was at first advising against but am ok with now. Or you can do what Magic indicated and leave it in the 9-10v range but I'd say off is better. :

I'd look for a different one based on the 'small print' down in the ad that says no loads over 500ma are recommended since the UD is going to require 600ma+

Use the UnderButter to condition your underdog To keep the wood lookin' good, Heat up the dog and rub it in then buff it up a little with a lint free cloth. You may find applying Underbutter a great meditation tool I think maybe I butter my dog too often but She sure looks and feels wonderful.

Rubbing the butter in for some reason is extremely relaxing to me...I will figure out this portable stuff by this weekend and ill let y'all know what I came up with. If anyone has any other suggestions i'm all ears
Sorry Jake I missed your first question back there a bit. The stock wall-warts we sell in a 2 pack for $20 + shipping. They output a near max voltage for the Underdog of 13.25v approximate.
The purpose of the butter is to condition the wooden body of the Dog and keep it looking it's nicest. The heat dries the wood and the butter helps re-moisturize it. It's Dog chapstick.

The shipping isn't super fast but I have 2 of those chinese battery banks and they are awesome. I can charge my phone and bluetooth speaker or use em as portable underdog battery packs. I recently got some cheap cases made for external hardrives for the battery banks and now they are invincible and have pockets for cables, etc.

Would you consider this combustion? I notice alot of the loads been looking like that. If that is normal im cool with it, just never seen a vape get stash that dark. Let me know if you think im doing something wrong, still trying to get a technique figured out.
