They have joined FC recently too! Just in case you missed the excellent review by @GSH on that highway 420 rig...

That sundae cup does look good.....

So I can't find many dhgate stores other than Kathy that ship cheap to the UK - as in they double the price of a $30 bubbler. Is Kathy legit??

Most people who have ordered recently (myself included) have gotten a nice piece in less than 10 days total, to the US. Your mileage may vary, but I would say yes.

Are there any vids of the turbine in action? Thanks!

See above link.

Not sure if you saw this but I got one a couple days ago. It is my new favorite and I really think it will hold up as such. Here are my pictures and a vortex video.

The can is almost 6" high and the mouthpiece is at around 7". I bet the thing is almost exactly the size of a small redbull can.

Feel free to ask more about it. I don't know what else to say except it is great.

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks everyone for all the reviews, questions, answers, and videos that have kept me informed during the past 150 pages or so.

So far I've collected the GB-187 from Lamin/Yingmin5, Double Barrel knockoff from BTOC before Kathy listed it for $15 cheaper, and the Kathy Toro knock off/TKO, and the D020 from Sunshinestore,

The GB-187 is my go-to piece and it's great! I just got the double barrel and I like it just as much as the GB-187. The D020 will be given to a friend and the TKO is just collecting dust. I occasionally use my Volcano out of these, but I am looking into an E-Nano or a Solo.

Does anyone have video of the D020--2-W in action? Here's the piece. http://www.dhgate.com/product/d020-...two/193620248.html#myaccount_favorites-7-null

Got this today.

Here is a quick comparison with a d020 gb188 and the little inline rig I forget which model.

Happy that the can size is smaller than I expected. Slightly larger than the d020. It is less volume than the 188. Much easier to take dabs than the 188. From the pictures I was expecting the same diameter and taller, but it is about the same height and more narrow.

And this thing vortexes plenty for my liking. Even drawing through an infiniTi.

@pigfoot that is a cute little sidecar rig.

In the link the first picture has open downstem with horizontal slits. The rest of the pictures look like the one you posted. That raises some concerns of what you actually will receive.

Either way I believe that the water lever would be just above the highest slit. Which is pretty much the bottom of the mouth piece. That being said you are most likely going to be getting some water. Even if you don't get a big splash the bubble can stack up to neck and will eventually reach your mouth.

I have had a couple pieces like this and the only way to keep the bubbles from hitting your lips is to take brief pauses during the inhale to let the bubbles drop back down the neck

I agree with @blankrider. You will definitely be getting water in your mouth unless you barely pull. However, if the nail/vape you are using has an insane amount of restriction then the bubbles won't stack much so in that case you may not get water in your mouth.

I bought a few pieces from oshwn0 on ioffer. He is a good seller, reasonable prices, and has fast shipping. He will even cut you a good deal if you order multiple pieces. Most of the stuff they sell is hand blow by people in their garage or from glass blowers in china. Some of the stuff they sell I have seen on DHgate so make sure not to spend too much because the items I purchased were about the same quality as DHgate.

Dangus

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

The piece came yesterday. So 10 days total. Not bad!

BUT! The piece, unfortunately is bad. The quality is good, but the design is off from the picture.

It doesn't recycle since it's an uphill battle to the funnel. Much more drastic than I anticipated, water really doesn't even get in there.

But the main problem and part of the previous problem is where the water is supposed to re-enter the can - it's too low:

So to even get enough water in there to get the perk to fire, you end up just sucking up water...

Kinda bummed but that's the gamble in this thing...

So overall I don't recommend the piece above.

EDIT: playing with water levels and will check back in...perhaps pilot error?

Low is good for the return line. It should enter below the perk height. If it was higher perc action would go up both lines and there'd be no cycling.

It sounds like you need to play with water levels a bit. Try putting the level around the bottom of the taper in the whirlpool chamber, so it blocks gas flow up the return line, and also reduces the volume in the main chamber that has to fill with froth. You need more water and possibly lower gas flow. The pics you showed look, to me at least, like it should work just fine, as long as you put enough water in there and get the draw speed right.

Checking back in. @Anonymouse was correct, I needed more water, and needed play with the levels a bit more.

Was a bit rushed initially, so sorry for that...*what a dangus!*

This rig is still pretty finicky with the water level, but it does recycle. Overall pretty good quality, but I find the nail just a tad close to my face for my liking...so I think I prefer the first one I nabbed up. It's a viable piece though, and fun to hit...though if I did it over again, I'd probably go with the style that Jam picked up (nail out front).

Cheers!

Yingman5 is sold out of the gb-187. I asked Kathy if he would supply this piece and she said

"Yes,if you need buy after 1 week, more items we not put now.thank you."

I the quality is just as good as yingman5.

that's good news for europeans...the price of each piece will be higher but with the shippment cost the total amount will be less than YingMin....thank you @arrr

OK got the cyclone bub D20-Q. I have to say it's pretty well made, welds seem done well, can't find any noticeable cracks, just a scuff or two. Downstem is pretty close to the can though, my lotus just barely fits on there. I played around with water level, brief observation, I think a lower water level creates less churn/chug after you get a full draw going, and maintains more of a cyclone effect, also easier to start the draw with less lift. Hieght of the piece is just under 10" on mine. Definitely more fine tuning on water needed, but it's pretty good for the vid.The perc is basically 4 angled slits suspended in the center like a showercap, likely to get some blow back with the water slowly returning back to the bottom chamber with this one....oh and it's 18mm female.

Pics and vids :freak:
