Im very curious to see if anyone snags on of these....trying to decide between this and the vapormax but the 100$ difference is kind of making it easy. If I could see usage vids and how big each size is that would help a lot.

Hey buddy,

I've got a review unit coming next week and Ive used the FlowerMate as well so I can compare them directly for you later next week.

(by the way dude, saw your take on the Cera and its making me remember why I was originally going to upgrade my first vape, the T1, with that until I fell down a research hole and came out of it with three vapes and counting lol... So that may also be added to the collection at some point when I can. However, i never could get the Evo to satisfy very consistently myself, and now I have the Indica to effectively enjoy those low temps!)

The T-Vape 1 defeats the Flowermate so easily it's biggest inconvenience is being difficult to use do to misleading instructions and poorly thought initial designs.

My girlfriend finds the T-Vape to taste too pure, she really dislikes abv flavor and will quit using the T-Vape after a few hits because of how well the flavor shines out. While she'll go through an entire session with the Flowermate but this is due to the flavor being so poor from the start it's hardly noticeable.

The FM will normally have my herb cooked with no more need to be vaped in 8 minutes, the T-Vape I could probably vape the same load 3 times for 10 minutes and every single session produces thicker exhaled vapor than what the Flowermate delivers.

The inconvenience of the T-Vape's initial designs such as the ceramic filter and deadzones really impair the vapor production and can deter new users.

Just by looking at the new T-Vape I can tell they've at least improved on making it easier to use without having to mod it yourself.
They increased the length of the silicone on the battery to presumably help eliminate that deadzone, the new spring should also be beneficial for eliminating the top deadzone.

While battery isn't phenomenal this vape is still better to use for me than the FM. I know there's nothing ill about using the T-Vape while charging and this convenience really allows me to enjoy it on go. I primarily use the T-Vape while driving and try to keep it charging while I use. But even when going for a walk I feel very comfortable walking with my T-Vape in public because I don't have treat like it's an odd device.

I'm really looking forward to the 2.0, it seems to have made a few reasonable upgrades and isn't much more expensive than the original. The swappable batteries are great along with the fact that you can still charge through USB. I also think it was a good decision starting the temp at 390.

With the coupon code fctvape you'll be able to get it for 153.

Im curious about the battery life span and especially the mini sized one. I would not feel comfortable walking around with a T-vape (full size) at all with how massive it was...like 7 or 8 inches? Maybe the short one tube I feel more comfortable being out in public with my indica or pax than I ever did with the t-vape.

Thats a big heater for just a single battery so Im going to guess from the start that its charge is only good for maybe 1 or 2 loads

I would hope so but I find the current battery to be good for about 3 loads. Hopefully batteries are inexpensive. My O-Phos is taller than my T-Vape, and with eli quids is more flashy in public Short is great for outside usage, I would never go with long.

there are 3 different T-vape 2.0's up for sale on ebay, the starting bid is at 120 SHIPPED and no one has bid so far...24 hours to go.

I really wish we had a bowl size and weight. What batteries does this use as well? I might just have to bid on one of these and hope I get lucky!

sorry for the double post but I cant edit and this is a slow thread but was it an FCer that picked up one of those 2.0's off ebay for 120 shipped?

If UPS don't lie I'll receive my 2.0 today, thanks to Mike from Squaresmoke to sent me one for a review, I never posted pictures , I'll post some pics but don't expect to get abv pics since I live in a non-mmj country...I'll post again in some hours....

for sure ppn! Id just love to know the details such as full measurements and batt life/cooking ability and how it compares to version 1.0! Thanks

Sorry but since I never tried the1.0 I can't compare it...

Edit: UPS can't find my adress and it seems the UPS guy haven't got any professionnal phone so he can't call me, I will be very lucky if I get it tomorrow.

Squaresmoke didn't told me they didn't pay shipping cost so I'll need to pay 37 Euros to pick my package up, it's not a big issue but I would prefer to know it.

mybe my review tomorrow but since I live in wild country I don't expect the ups guy will be looking for my home a long time, why don't use a cheaper traditionnal mail box?

UPS, DHL, Chronopost,... are only good for towns, I wgot every time a better satisfaction with traditionnal post.
UPS just offer me to pick it up in a town but I need to drive at least 3 hours go and back for my package, not for me I prefer to stay at home where I have a lot of others nice vapes to wait for the T-Vape 2.0!

ps: One carrier is good in south of France, it's Exapaq, never got any issue with them

I hope your UPS guy is smarter than mine, I'm eager to test it, I cut some nice flowers one week ago, White widows and Sweet skunk, weather is really sunny actually and it's already dry (at least the smaller buds).

Tomorrow will be the day for me!

ps: Hi Paytonpenn, can you tell me if it comes fully charged, please?

Edit: UPS ask me 37 euros to get the package, is it tax (expensive isn't it?) or shipping cost (I think not, it's not possible, isn't it?) it's not a big deal since Squaresmoke offer me this unit for a review (thanks!)

Hey guys,

My review unit came in today as well, had to leave work to meet the ups guy to sign (that's the worst thing about ups to me, the need to be in person...). Big thanks to Mike for helping us gunea pig this guy on here.

Sizewise @llamaman001 , for starters the mini is shorter than the T1 by a cap or so, my big battery is charging now so I haven't compared any other sizes yet (the big battery+short tube will likely be my go to, so I will test that next). @PPN it is not fully charged, but the small battery takes less than an hour.

I also didn't have the 1.0, but I can already see it functions more simply (with accurate instructions!). The basic set up seems to be, tap to turn on red light and it will heat up to 390 green in 2 minutes give or take. Then too take bigger hits at 400 or higher, you hold button for 20-30sec and it will blink green (not sure of that means it hit 400 or 420, it does keep blinking every 20-30sec if you keep holding it, so not quite sure exactly how precise temp raising works). So its a simple 390F vape like the FlowerMate in a way, but it has the ability to kick up the temp for heavier hits when you need them.

I've been running burn offs as I write this, and there is definitely a bad smell, but it seems to be driven by the mouthpiece rubber (this is medical grade though right? Do I need to do some kind of soak like the FM needs? Not sure exactly how to remove the spring/screen to do so, kinda afraid to pull it out). Looks like the auto shut off is around 20min I think (didn't time this one) and the unit does get kinda warm, the oven tube is hot though so can't really hold it there.

So far it feels like a really solid portable, can't help thinking of it as like a conduction Thermovape... I'll post more as I experience it

EDIT: auto shutoff may be related to it being idle or not, second session seemed shorter... will have to see. Battery died on the third session, so the little battery only gets 35-45 minutes (maybe more if you don't raise the temp at all, again will have to test).

Was able to get the spring/screen out by getting my nail inbetween the screen and the rubber without pulling the spring, its a hollow steel tube with a seven-hole hexagon for the screen right where the spring meets it. I'm putting the mouthpiece in boiling water now...

I wonder if the new spring system for the nipple prevents us from removing the white ceramic filter?
I guess it definitely prevents the user from adding a screen between the nipple and heater.

Sorry just edited above, was able to remove the screen. No ceramic filter found!

Alright auto shutoff is just about 10min of you don't touch it. I think of you raise the temp it starts the clock over?

After boiling the mouthpiece in water with olive oil i think it may be better now, but there is still a silicone smell from the unit, probably that white tip at the bottom of the oven primarily. Ive been running more burn offs, without the mouthpiece on even, and its still there, but hopefully things will improve. I think I'm going to load it up anyway just to try it out already

Didn't need to be charged initially, I had to drive out of town to get mine so I can't clean it yet but I've done one bowl and besides the taste of needing to be cleaned it was a very pleasurable session.

Sadly no USB charging.

Well I had a bowl with like 7-8 puffs in about as many minutes (turned off before auto shuttoff), very nice heavy hits for the initial temp, better than FlowerMate. However, go to turn it on again to finish the load, and disgusting tastes, worse than before, visible smokey vapor. Must be some kind of defect or malfunction? AVB is very dark, smell is all over every part.

Tried again and yup, visibly dark thick fumes with nothing loaded... Maybe this is why I couldn't get the smell out after several burn offs, I wonder if it would have been fuming if I ran those last two sessions empty (actually, for all I know it was fuming before and it was thinner that I couldn't see it) but I mean it shouldn't be happening loaded or empty. Oh well, these things happen, glad I wasn't dependent on it at least. For what its worth, it does seem to be quite effective from my very limited use! Hopefully I will get to try again and share more positive results...

My 2.0 is at home, it comes in a sealed box professional packaging and it contains:
-battery tube + extender
-long tube & short tube
-2 batteries (900 and 2200mah)
-2 nipples
-cleaning stick and brush
-charger

Size (with nipple):
Mini=13.5cm
Short (short battery+longtube)=16.5cm
Medium(longbattery+short tube)=16.5cm
Long= 19.5cm

After fully charged the short battery I want try the mini setup and filled the short tube with flowers coarse grinded and medium packed and turn the unit on (5 clics) and wait for heating (user guide speak about 2mn, I didn't measure it), the light turn red to green when it's ready to vape...

First hit is really big, the amount of exhaled vapor is impressive, 2nd was a bit less big, etc... and after 5 or 6 hits you start to taste the abv and vapor production decrease a lot, so it seems to be definitly a big hitter but maybe with more practice I will be able to don't spent the load so quickly.

It taste better than my Fake pax or the very cheap Titan but worst than my Xp or FW, I taste plastic but it's not too much except maybe when the load is spent and I expect the plastic taste will disappear...

I only test 2 bowls in and I tried to increase the T° pushing the button 20s, abv cames out very dark (black) and I was able to get 2 more hits but I think the standard T° is enough for me.

It's very easy to use and I think cleaning will not be an issue, personnaly I didn't like the form factor but since I take it in my hands I think it's not so bad (at least the mini, I didn't try the others sze)

I'll try to post pics and more feedback very soon, kinds vapor!

I found either connection with the short tube to be a fine size, but when you use the long tube it can get a little unwieldly with the large battery. No word yet about what to do with my fuming unit (I wonder if its from the short tube or the battery connection part, i tried to test with the long tube but everything was so stinky at that point from the fumes it was hard to tell, also since its taller I didn't see fumes rushing out like the short tube did so maybe it's only that tube? Just spitballing here)

Once you run herb through in the chamber you'll have to do an ISO wash to stop the visible vapor when empty. I had the short e-tube get very hot also @Shit Snacks but I know it was my fault. I had started heating it up and the short battery died so I inserted the long batt and turned it on before it cooled down the results were huge clouds and black herbs which also got rid of the bad "new" taste and smell.

So far I'm very impressed with the 2.0 after only a night using it I can say so far it's what I wanted the first t-vape to be. Gotta play with it more to get into any details as vaping through three short tubes last night had me too blitzed to experiment any more.

I can already say the 'mini' is a BadAss vapor machine now forsure !

@Shit Snacks I've had a fuming issue with my first T-Vape where I got disgusting burnt electronics taste. I think of it to be a random encounter, as my T-Vape started working perfectly fine later.

@RUDE BOY agreed, I was using it this morning on the drive to work and noticed I could take about 5 draws before I needed to bump the temp.

Things they improved:
The rubber band around the light is now snug it can be moved but requires slight effort.
Silicon nipple on battery is longer to remove the bottom deadzone.
The replacement of a metal filter + spring are great, I added a small screen in the nipple if you see my gift of me inserting a screen that is basically what I did except I pushed it all the way in until it gets narrower.
All around it looks like better components used.
No led on the bottom, personal complaint about the first T-Vape.

The 2200 battery makes your battery slightly longer than the original tvape battery. But they are pretty much the same length.

Finally got home to clean it and taste has improved the first session I did smelled like literal poop. I'll see if I can get a video of the mini today.

Hmm, maybe I'll try running the short tube again? It really was thick fumes though, seemed like something that was defective, but you think it can be ok and safe still? It was wierd because it began only after the first loaded session had run... I don't have any ISO left so I haven't done any swabbing or anything, but do you think I need to? I just want to be sure its all ok, taste is one thing, but safety is quite another...

Im beginning to think that maybe some resin somehow seeped into the heater and its burning the resin in there every time you turn it on. I dont see what else it could be since it didnt do it the first time but Im thinking it might be resin because of the taste you described. If it were me Id clean it then do a complete dry run and go from there.
