On another note - @DDave - my wife has been told that she may have meniers disease. I need the scoop brother!

I hope she finally gets a diagnosis on something and she gets the answers she's been looking for. She's dealt with pain for a long time.

Next step I was going to take her out back and put ole girl outta misery but this option is WAY better!

So, my scoping is done, they took out 25 polyps and were up there for about 2 hours and i'm SO FUCKING LUCKY, i get to do it again in 3 months

I don't remember any of it but i was a tad uncomfortable last night cause i had air in me that did not wanna come out. I'm feeling much better today, now i have to wait for pathology. I'm glad my gastro was thorough , none of the other gastros took all of my polyps out on previous scopes .

Get your colonoscopies people, the prep blows-literally, but it does save lives

There's an area they want to monitor... and they want to check the areas where they had to use hemoclips on the polyp stalks. Hemoclips area surgical staples, to stop bleeding.

I am aware of the risks of screening, but i prefer to get the precancerous polyps removed. My chances of developing colon cancer are much greater than those without a family history of colon cancer

@mvapes, guess who just called me? Oscar from UfC. Wants to talk to me about my experience and if I can volunteer. I have not answered his email or call because I contacted them months ago. They are just now getting around to me? Kinda not happening now. I can't even drive! Plus, not so sure I trust them anymore after what they did to you.

and, yes, life is still crazy. house has not sold; hubby has no job; cats drive us NUTS; and my job has its own ups and downs.... on a bright side, the nutritional therapist I am working with seems to have pinpointed one issue, and the supplements she has me on seems to be doing something good. Time will tell, however, and I get tested again in a couple of months. Yay!

We never get over things - but, we can get past them. My hope for you (yes, YOU) is that you are able to get past things so they cannot hurt you again. it's not an easy road, and I'm still learning my own way, but I'm sure there is a way past.
