And about G2 being superior to the other three pure grades, don't buy into the hype, all four grades are good, there's less than 1% difference between them, so my question is this: what makes G2 better than G1, if purity is a factor them G1 should be a better choice, don't you think?

Grades 1,2,3,4 have the same elements in different quantities, they are the only ones considered pure, none of them have aluminum nor vanadium, which is mostly used in the steel industry as a strengthener (vanadium).
All the pure titaniums have impurities in them in the form of gasses that are safe for consumption, like Oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen, and also small amounts of iron and carbon, all safe.
Grades 5 and up are the ones with unsafe metals, and I know of at least one USA manufacturer using it (Cosmic).
All pure grades are safe and are not that expensive to buy, and since China's labor is so cheap I don't see why can't they produce pure Ti nails at a reasonable price.

Thank you for the tip about the recycling plant. I am assuming you are referring to them having an XRF laser gun ?

I went to get a $15 china nail tested using gas chromatography and the place wanted $115 per nail, plus they had to cut up the nail to test a flat piece so I politely declined and decided to only buy brand name since China TI is still a mystery to me.



I have that one but mine was from thickqualityglass and it is much larger. It pulls really nicely but for $75 I would go with the gb-194. That pieces is amazing!

See above. It certainly could be made from quality materials, as Mestizo mentioned, but apparently is not, as we see reports of Chinese Ti nails corroding, and behaving differently than known grade 2. Newvape is a great example of a company offering lower prices on documented grade2 nails, for a reasonable price.

$46 for new vapes nail is about as cheap as I will go and I only buy their products because they have a USA tested material certificate shipped with every item. I don't believe China nails are tested for their purity... And if they are they sure don't like to let the customers know.

Here is a quick comparison with a d020 gb188 and the little inline rig I forget which model.

Happy that the can size is smaller than I expected. Slightly larger than the d020. It is less volume than the 188. Much easier to take dabs than the 188. From the pictures I was expecting the same diameter and taller, but it is about the same height and more narrow.


And this thing vortexes plenty for my liking. Even drawing through an infiniTi.
