So I think I blew a coil. I soaked mine for a few hours to clean it out. I wanted to get the black ball of reclaim out of the area between the coil and the ceramic wick. I think i held the button down a little too long and I saw the coil get a little brighter than usual and then it stopped. I am soaking it again and will try it later.
Does anyone have any tips to clean the thing COMPLETELY...aside from taking it apart? I don't have a Ti coil. I just want to know the best way to get the reclaim completely off the coil. I was thinking of maybe using a toothbrush?

Taking it apart for the first time is a daunting task, but short of an alcohol bath in an ultrasonic cleaner, there is no other way to get the yucky crust and the yummy reclaim out. You could practice on your already-dead KISS cart, using @DieHard instructions. You can get coil wire from a local e-cig store, and wrapping a new coil around your ceramic rod is easy.

Same as the ophos and omicron lite, a mini USB port is located on the bottom, all you have to do is unscrew the cap. We decided to use a cap to make sure the USB port does not get dirty and malfunction unlike the others on the market that have the USB out in the open.

yea im actually a little upset i ordered my ophos when i did i got it a little over a month ago and then they released the new one with a dab tool and concentrate container id have waited if id known but its great to see new updated hardware being a tinkerer/inventor myself its great seeing a company that stands by their product and customers and focuses on improving all their designs

yeah, i wish i had known the minicron lite was coming out, woulda gone with it instead of the ophos for sure. the ophos is just a little bit too big to be comfortable in my pocket. also kinda bothers me that there is a small gap between my kiss cart and battery. oh well, not really worth the $ to get one now.
It's always good to have a spare as a backup.
your right i always prefer to have a backup but id rather have the ophos as a backup and the persei as my main im looking to order a persei once i have more funds available

Hey, anyone have experience with the ophos being a piece if crap? Every time I press the button, it just flashes three times. Dude from vapor warehouse said that some people have issues with the battery's connection, and you have to loosen the cartridge a bit. Well it's so loose that it's practically falling off, and I can finally press the button and it won't flash, but then there's no connection to the cart, and I get nothing.
Yes there's a warranty, but it's gonna cost me 30 bucks service fee plus 10+ bucks for shipping. I only paid 55 for the thing. This is super frustrating because I did nothing wrong other than receive a crap product and try to use it, and now I'm gonna have to spend almost as much money as I just spent.
Please tell me I'm not the only one with this issue. Oh wait, I know I'm not. I bought two, one for my friend as a gift, and hers has the exact same issue.

If it's under warranty then there is no service fee. This means if you can provide proof of purchase from Vaper warehouse with in the last year then your covered.
What you need to do is go to our page and click the submit button on the top right side, it's the green box and submit your issue and our CS team will guide you the rest of the way.
