The difference is this glass sphere at the end of my hypothetical tube wouldn't fit inside: its purpose being to provide a resilient joining method without allowing synthetics to endure direct heat as it would only serve to seal such aerial connection, externally. E.G. heat would hit glass 1st instead of the other way around. So, the tube can still be made to match neatly, though i can't offer references for one that fits in my present scenario as illustrated above.

Well it's nice to care but for now I'm unable to determine if the white plastic ring and the LED on the top of the bowl are really excluded from the vapor path or not once the metal mouthpiece ring is screwed on... If it's not the case then we have other things to worry about than the silicone mouthpiece!

For the air intake, the path is so short we can assume *most* of it flows directly from the exterior through the vents, but a small part might get sucked from somewhere else... and the insides are not the prettiest, with all that tape and plastic. At least the wires looks like they are insulated in some way.

I don't know what to think of it... I hope we are not gambling with our health too much. And those screens don't you think they are a tad too shiney?

Drill a cluster of holes into the shell, above the circumstancial conduit visible on my graphic animation below! That's how i'd deal with it to IMPLEMENT (nearly) SEPARATE ELECTRONICS VENTILATION. Then you'll have done anything you could to make sure whatever which may have reached the oven side won't matter much when it does, because the other side would be smoking in flames by then!... In other words if it can't be stopped then i suggest something is done to slow down the innevitable.

Unfortunately the oven assembly itself could have a more pleasant look IMHO... I mean, c'mon guys! We're almost there but just when it seems this one will do, euh... Some rabit jumps off a hat, so to speak! Sorry but with no sufficient details about what's exactly inside i just don't feel like waiting around anymore, just to risk reading someday « Woups, we didn't see it! » Euh...



If at least it could have offered a glass window such as in the FlashVape, for example... In any case there's only 1 way to make sure IMHO: contain & separate the air/cannabic/ventilation paths by design!!

But...

If this is no option, as for most people who post here i guess (!), then why not simply attempt to "decouple" those air masses, hence my suggestion published in this dedicated thread, previously:

I wonder. Would that be an improvement if the plastic surfaces were covered with an airtight-sealed metallic film and junctions got silicone grummets, etc?

In an application like that i'd appreciate ceramic beads instead of any synthetic material, especially plastics: i don't need that in my cannabic path!

Well - I leave for my trip tomorrow morning (which is why I got one of these in the first place).

I used my "Mate" last night for the first time (with some Tangie). Love this little device - the draw could be eased a bit but I'll work on that when I get back.

On a side note - I had heard of Tangie but this was my first experience with it. WOW! Once of the most cerebral yet clear-headed sativas I've had in ages! (think Blue Dream squared!)



Also - guys that are having a problem with the plastic slider doors becoming loose. If you have access to a wood vice its an easy fix. One of mine arrived loose. I put the Mate in the vice with only about 1/4 inch of it being gripped snuggly by the vice (bottom or top depending on which slider is loose)- then just squeezed it VERY slightly with the vice and the slider is now tight as a drum!

I got a blue mate to go with my silver flowermate. The blue one is definitely lower temp as the taste is less harsh and does not make me cough as much.

I don't suppose there is any correlation between color and temp, although it seems like it.

My Red runs hotter than my Silver.

Anybody else with two different colors and temps?

I don't think the color case has anything to do with it. The temp regulator is likely different somehow.

What i am thinking is that - since the model is offered with two brands of batteries LG/Siemens this might be where the difference is coming from.. can you open them and check if the batteries are same brand ?
Btw my GF saw this vape on vapefiends headshop (clicked the saved link by accident loool) and fell in love with the aluminium shell.. purple is her color.. Well i tipped her to ordered it from china .. it should be here by Friday .. I tried to explain her that there are safer alternatives.. but.. design and color is all a girl cares for.. + she is vape noob and cause the unit has only one button was the deal maker for her... This vape has not the best airpath honestly but for that price (75 $ )the only think i can offer her in that price range with was the vaponic... but she has bad history of burning her with hot surfaces so she said immediatly no.. i would brake this.. . Anyway i would rather inhale whats on Flowermate's airpath than combusted butane (VG,Vapo-bowl,Vaporstar,also to note that i would inhale it gladly before i hit mflb again)

It turns out i'm a VaporGenie guy and i'd rather vaporize with my "Plan-B" than allow strangers to decide what i want in my cannabic path exactly! Please read very carefully: i do not abdicate my right to be adequately informed about what's in it exactly.

I've got my answers with the VG and i don't see why this one should be any different. So, no more "Black-Box" purchases for me please, i'm expecting simple illustrated facts will suffice.

Yeah but do they offer a warranty? Otherwise I don't see any reason not to just buy it on eBay or dhgate/alibaba for $25 less... (At least that's only with shipping to US)

Knowing is enough for you.. But feeling is overwhelming for me .. Call me the princess and pea sindrom victim if you like .Your scientific brain cuts like science like a swift katana ... but for me my guide is my jedi sense.. which most often is doubled by science (like the charka's and the third eye and the dmt gland ) So what gives comfort to my soul is feeling it (i have very sharp senses and can detect even slightest damage to my system i swear ) more than knowing and understanding.
I will post a short review once i get it based on my jedi powers.. I will sharpen my senses to the max for any bad energy around this unit

LOL.. You're a trip ABV.. I can digg it though.. Personally, I like to rely on a little more than my Jedi sense , although I feel that it plays a strong role for me too.. I've seen some things that have changed me LOL... I'm all for Egzoset's pursuit though.. I wouldn't mind knowing more details too..

I was actually thinking of vaporizers that wouldn't be from alibaba. The thought I replied to was "where else can you find a vape for 100 or less" (my paraphrase). But I don't need to derail this thread by naming names of the dozen or so vaporizers that can be had for that little $.
