Ah. Well to play fair here, I think they would sue any other candy company that sold non medicated versions in identical forms/wrappers. That's pretty close to copyright infringement in my layman's opinion.

That said, IMO, Hershey's is taking on the whole safety thing "just because". I mean if you're going to bother going after these companies in a court of law, you might as well go all the way, right? Remember, H's whole goal is to get these people to either shut down or completely change their marketing/naming practices.

I honestly believe they DGAF about the "safety" aspect.

If adults are too dumb to read the label of what they're eating, then they deserve to get stoned.

If adults are too dumb to keep their medicine out of the reach of children, shame on them that is their own fault. Don't blame the delicious mj treats.

Is any intelligent person going to realistically confuse a "Dabby Patty" and a "Peppermint Patty"? Doubt it. I'm more likely to confuse the dabby patty with a krabby patty.

It is a bit cheeky of this MJ chocolate company to parody the hersheys bar after seeing the similarities.

How hilarious though that they chose to include these fucking rediculous situations as soon as the topic of marijuana and edibles comes up in convo.


Pot critics’ concerns about the marijuana-laced products were stoked by the March death of a university student who authorities said ate more than the recommended dose of a marijuana-laced cookie and jumped to his death from a hotel balcony.

In April, a woman told an emergency dispatcher that her husband was hallucinating and talking about the end of the world after he had eaten a marijuana-infused candy and taken pain pills shortly before allegedly shooting her.

I do think it is important for 'edible noobs' to become educated about dosages and strength etc. Because it is way too easy for edible noobs, whether or not they're experienced smokers, to take way too high a dose and have a crazy ride. I've probably never been higher off of mj than I've been on a couple of edible 'trips'. Those things when made right can kick your f***** ass.
