They are actually really similar in how they hit. I haven't done any side by side though. I think the mini is much more delicate feeling, though it does seem fairly solid (aside from that weeping weld) I did a dab with the mini and it knocked me back pretty good, so all in all, it functions really well as a dab rig, and I have now been using the lotus with the mods. I don't think I can go any smaller than these pieces with the lotus... I am not a huge fan of that angled dome, for some reason. I would much rather just use domeless. I'll probably make that my next purchase. Been waiting it out, because this nail I have now works great too. Kathy sent me 2 different 10mm domes with my last order, and I can use the extra on this rig if I need to.

Yeah, jhook and ash catcher make a great lotus combo. I could see that angled dome not working too well, it doesn't really enclose the nail. Looks good though :) You have a DYD Ti nail right? For a domed setup? If you are looking for a good deal on a Ti domeless, these guys use documented gr 2 Ti, and have a domeless 10mm female nail for $22. http://www.new-vape.com/

It sure rains a lot in late autumn and winter, but man are the spring/summers/and most of autumn to die for. Seattle is incredible. You have to have been there more than once and believed beyond the movies and what people say (about Seattle just being rain) to really appreciate WHAT Seattle is in a whole.

One thing I want to point out is the quality of the one I bought on iOffer for $75 is much superior to the $20 one from Kathy I got for my friend (DUH right? $55 difference should mean better quality lol). Yes, I know $55 is a big difference, but to me it is worth it. $75 for a Hitman nano knock off is still cheap IMO. Mine has no bubbles and zero imperfections. If you slapped a Hitman logo on it I honestly think it could fool anyone. However, Kathy's version has many bubbles in all the welds and in the reinforced bridge. There is also a small crack/defect where the mouthpiece connects to the chamber. But honestly for $20 it is the absolute best nano dab rig IMO. Oh and I ordered it on 5/26/14 and received it on 6/4/14. Not too bad at all coming from Kathy :D I was pleased!

I also wanted to bring up http://www.new-vape.com again. This company is awesome and I am hoping that fellow concentrate users on this forum will buy their nails.

They send a material certificate showing the chemical composition of the titanium they use and it is indeed USA produced Grade 2 Titanium. From my understanding and research it is as pure as medical grade 2 ti and is just as pure if not purer than Highly Educated, Silika, Etc for literally 1/2 to 1/3 the price :rockon::clap:I am really hoping people start to realize the pure grade 2 ti is not expensive and the bigger brand names are really ripping us off...

I have purchased 6 nails from them now and I absolutely love every single one. I have exchanged many emails with one of their employees (or owner) Chris Rook and he is a really cool guy. He cut me some good deals since I have been buying so many! Plus they auction a lot of their items on ebay so you can get them for up to half off! I just got their Level 3 Male 12 hole domeless nail for $42 on an ebay auction. It retails for $84 on their site and on 420titanium.com. Oh and did I mention they make a 10/14/18mm for only $42-$46? Yep, had to snag the new level 2 one :D

That does look interesting. It looks like it is made for vape/ecig pens only though. You may be able to modify it to work with a vaporizer or as a rig but it would be tricky.

BTW I love seeing all of these pictures of people having 4-5 pieces of nice glass in their collection for the price of one brand name waterpipe :clap:

This is one of the most informative and helpful glass threads online right now. I know that more than half of my collection is due to this thread, so thank you FC and all of its members for having the best site around :)

:clap:Well, well, well. The tornado bubbler from Sunshine Store arrived a short while ago. I believe the cheap glass section has found a new champion. The QO-W.
It arrived perfectly packed. It was wet which is a good sign meaning someone tested it before sending. I gave it a good wash and have just tried it.

It is fucking awesome :tup: the tornado is exactly as in the video. Very smooth. Almost no drag. Looks great. The form is really wonderful. Love the bent neck. Just a few minor imperfections on the glass which is par for the course.
I will write more later. Pics and possibly a video to come. This piece is my best china piece yet. :D

Don't forget about quartz ;)

They all have their pros and cons.

My preference for flavor:
1) ceramic
2) titanium
3) quartz/glass
*note: if you season a new quartz nail 3-5 times with some bad oil before using it I would say quartz is on par with titanium and possibly even as good as ceramic if seasoned enough. One of my tastiest setups is a 14mm quartz dome nail that has been heavily seasoned and used.

My preference for durability:
1) titanium
2) quartz/ceramic
3) glass

Quartz, ceramic, and glass nails will all crack eventually. So don't pay a lot for them.

That's it up above guys. For some reason this can't be purchased on dhgate. It is strictly aliexpress. No idea why.

I just hit it again and I love this thing. It is just wonderful. My nano milks the hell out of it and the tornado action is really cool. I think this replace the do20-w as my daily driver. It rocks:rockon:

I didn't ask dude. Mine is green. This is a really nice looking bubbler. I don't think they like it much when we get particular about colours. I'm pretty sure this piece originated from a different factory than the Do20 series.
