I sent VB an e-mail back on May 9th about exchanging a faulty mouthpiece with a gpong.

They sent me a reply today, June 1. It simply stated that the gpong is available for purchase and included a link to their store.

Very disappointed with VB customer service and the quality of the Pnp. I emailed VB 2 weeks ago and then last week, no response as of Friday.
I had anticipated a glass lined Pong that was made better with less harsh vapor on heat level 2. It's improved on the original but not what I had expected, my hopes were higher.

If you do buy this vaporizer go with the yoyo kid off eBay, to insure good service.

I know many of you may disagree with me about the Pnp, but that's OK.

Every vape breaks. Solos break Paxs break Ascents break. Its not just PNPs. I have had my PNP since christmas and have used it daily since. No MP breaks no unit break, and no battery failures. There CS has been terrible though.

I recommend everyone to go through yoyokid1 and NOT vb directly. And its a shame that it has to be like that.

Whats on your MP?

Looks like a MFLB battery cap/ cover.

Sweet, I have a couple of those kicking around too.

That's perfect use of that MLFB battery cap.

It will definitely keep the dank smell of the fresh herbs contained and also the resinous reek for after the sessions when the build up starts to get stank of vaped dank.

It's a Solo stem travel cap: https://www.planetvape.ca/solo-vaporizer-travel-caps-2.html

I think the Solo travel caps are basically the same thing as MFLB battery caps. I know my Palm 2.0 battery caps also fit the top of the PGonG.

Couldn't agree more (although my solo is twice as old nd hasn't broken yet ;). People, remember you didn't buy this vape for it's taste, everyone knew it had a plastic MP.

It filled a gap in the market that was for a vape that looked kind of like a (chunky) ecig.
It does that and when it works, it works well. Yeah, I was disappointed about battery life and all that but now keep it topped up. Had a replacement for heater error but the replacements been running with no issues.
Any flavour improvement with the gpong should be taken as an added bonus, not something you were promised.

However...

The first TRVB glass replacement gong was handled well for US customers, but for us in Europe we were stuck with VB putting $50 value on the piece (the new one coats how much lol) and package, so many of us were stung with customs charges on top of the $14 "postage" costs we paid to start with.
In fact it was a FOC gift to cover a faulty piece and should have been marked as such...

The glass lined pong to replace the stock ones that were not up to the job should be replaced under warranty, and should have been done before the item was available to buy. Again for The UK we are further shafted it's it's not available to buy from a UK yet (ffs VB send Vapefiend some - you are missing $$$$'s lol) This imo is shocking behaviour.

The collar issue, well, I'm torn over this tbh. We weren't warned to clean it thoroughly and regularly iirc, and it does kind of go against the "pick up and go" portable kind of approach of this vape... but I have seen some pics of shockingly dirty units posted, and I wouldn't want to warranty that kind of misuse.

Overall I'm very put off buying another VB product, and haven't even looked at the Baker. Sad thing is it seems like they don't care lol.

I think these guys will feel the damage they've caused through the poor CS with the PnP when the next company brings out a reliable flower vape in this form factor, so we'll see I guess...

I have had my PNP since they first came out, use almost everyday at least 2-3 times and no battery issues, no melting, no issues whatsoever.

I also rarely clean it or the bullets and it works every time.

Sad other people don't have the same experience.

As previously stated Yoyokid is the man and always looks out for you.

Also sad to hear VB is not so much.

I was going to buy a PNP. After reading all the negative posts about customer service I went with the Ascent which also has product issues. However DaVinci has shown solid customer support.

I also got a VaporMax as a back up.

Hopefully TVB will get the message and change their ways for the better.

Normally if there is a problem with a unit less than a year old you get it fixed or a replacement from the company. The yoyo kid has stepped up and has stood behind the Pnp. Many of us have bought from VB and have been left in the dust far as our units are concerned that have issues of the cracking. I agree VB will feel the repercussions of poor customer service. When my units are toast I will not be buying any more VB products, unless I see a change around some time down the line.

My battery on 3 of my units are down to less than 25 min, maybe 3 sessions if I'm lucky. What happens when the battery goes? I know many of you are quite handy at putting things together, like a battery. Some of you are very talented at fixing things, well I'm not. We shouldn't have to, eventually you will only be able to use this unit plugged in.

I didn't want to say this, but dreamer had it right some months back. It's a disposable vape if the company doesn't come up with a replacement battery. We shouldn't have to install something like that ourselves. We should be able to send it back and get a battery for a nominal fee. That isn't available yet, I've tried calling and emailing the company with no,response.

I've emailed VB 5 or 6 times with no response over months. I have called too, it's not a customer service line. It's only a wholesale line and I haven't gotten any responses from them. I'm done waisting my time and energy. I see better things out there. I'm moving on, I'm finished.

Only if someone would be able to mod the PNP to allow for a battery door that would allow for easy swapping of the battery that would be awesome.... (cough cough) @BarnBoy
Unfortunately, this won't be possible as the battery is soldered to the board.

This is very possible.
De-solder the battery from the board.
Solder a connector to the board side.
Solder a mating connector to the battery side.
Make a bunch of them too so you will always have power.

@Kaptan, are you saying BarnBoy can't convert the PNP to use swappable batteries?

@BarnBoy, you're not gonna just sit there and take that are you?
Heck, with some blood sweat and tears, I would even put my money on you being able to put a nifty little battery cover that would allow for easy battery swaps.

It is actually plug in, easy to replace but i don't know how ti calibrate. there is a shortcut on startup but without more info i want chance messing around with it.

Yikes...

Never mind then, lets stay away from the battery replacement option..... for now, until someone figures out a way to decrypt the calibration methods (cough cough) @BarnBoy

Would be really awesome if @BarnBoy could come up with a battery swap solution but from what ive read in this thread its the heater calibrater that could cause the issues. Im sure that was directly from @Engineering.

Just FYI, Vapefiend now has the new Gpong for sale.

http://www.vapefiend.co.uk/epages/es115421.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es115421_es122485197719/Products/42189

Fo shizzle my @Krizzle.

@Engineering posted this in the PN OG thread:
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-pinnacle-by-vaporblunt.8431/page-108#post-543490

Glad to hear you guys in the UK have direct access to these Gpongs now.

So I recently acquired my first bubble hash and would like to use it in the PnP, anyone have any suggestions on how to get the best use out of it?

I use bubble hash all the time in the PNP.

For at home sessions, to spike the bullet full of ground bud, I add just a little bit.

It goes a long way, but the taste is compromised.

I find that the bud vapes long before the bubble hash has, therefore you'll be puffing on popcorn flavored bubble... which completely defeats the purpose.

My now preferred method.

If it is very grainy unpressed bubble hash that crumbles to a kief consistency, then I'll wrap it in a very thin layer of degummed hemp fiber and roll it up and drop it in a bullet.

If it is has been pressed, then i'll place a flattened piece into one of these screen balls and squeeze it into a bullet.

The screen ball is and the hemp fiber method both will give the best taste and last very long.
It will also keep the bullet relatively clean but more importantly, the bottom of the PNP chamber clean.

hey guys, im new to this site, did some reading but cant seem to find answers... any help is appreciated.
So i i just got the pnp with watertool and it works great with herb but im a bit confused with using bho with it... i used to use bho with a bong with the sliding heat plate adapter and it worked really well, HUGE CLOUD... but i feel like im barely getting anything with the pnp... so i heat it up at full with the fml inside until it stops blinking all purple lights... than i quickly put a dab, about the size of a grain of rice and immediatly put on the glasstool and inhale... i get some cloud but not a huge one... also, it doesnt seem to evaporate as at the end when i take out the fml, it looks like just melted wattery budder. am i doing something wrong? or just not good for bho?
