I guess I find no reason to complain. This would have cost me at least $250 if it came from my LHS and at that price I would be upset about the tilt but at this point, for <$50, this thing rocks. Since the only other bub I had before this was the infamous, this thing is light years from what I was used to and well worth the risk and small price.

The last time I hit a bong, The Beatles were together, I think we used Boone's Farm or Ripple for the liquid and weed was $100 a pound. I am getting Enano tomorrow with gongs so I can vaporize a miniscule portion of legal Med Marihuana. It has been an amazing journey!

I been curious on some affordable cheaper bubblers myself, I seen the grav labs cheaper end ones that looks like hit pretty decent, skeptical as im thinking I want to get something a bit nicer

Grav labs has some nice stuff. And, there are many others out there who do decent stuff at a reasonable price, too.

Buying cheap Chinese glass is just that. Cheap Chinese glass. I agree with what most said here about the cracked piece from YingMin. That sucks and shouldn't be like that. 10% off is a joke, and IMO $11 refund is fair.

But, keep in mind this is always going to be a crapshoot with pieces this cheap and bulk free shipping via cargo ship.

Don't get me wrong... I love my cheap Chinese pieces and have been pretty much lucky with them. But reasonably priced higher quality US glass is out there. It's not $30-$50 a piece shipped, but there are a few places to get stuff in the $100 - $150 range that is superior. He's got some other nice stuff on his ioffer site, and others post their glass on ioffer. My jhanpixel is solid, has much better workmanship, is larger and functions without a hitch.

Go back and troll the first 100 pages or so of this thread for many more options. Search on a brand name (or website name), or just scroll through and look for pictures and links.

On the other hand, if you'd rather spend less than $50 on inferior, spotty QC'd, nearly slave labor created glass - go for it! I have and enjoy a couple pieces like this regularly. But, please don't be surprised about long hard to track shipping times, spotty workmanship, inconsistencies between pieces, and crappy customer service.

It's the same with this stuff as with anything else. There are exceptions, but pretty much you get what you pay for. To expect different is like expecting a burger from McDonald's dollar menu to be as good as an organic buffalo burger at an upscale restaurant. Or, to pick up a 1/4 of schwag for $20 and expect the same flavor and results as a fire hybrid that's been well bred for a few generations. I'm not saying the McD burger or the schwag aren't good or worth it - only that top quality for cheap is a rarity. Top quality for a reasonable price is tough enough. Go check out ALT compared to jhanpixel or other reasonable US blowers and you'll see what I mean.

Maybe we need a new thread for "Reasonably priced, high quality bubbler??" ?

Zero question in my mind if I had $150 to spend on a piece of glass it would be this piece from Cory Glass. http://instagram.com/p/n4XZnJS-Gu/# I believe that is a special FC price.

Zero question. I want this piece bad. But, I'm not spending $150 on a piece of glass (at this time).

Another great example! As a matter of fact, I'd like to know how I can plop down my $150 and get one. Just started looking, but the whole process looks a bit confusing to me.

Not suggesting you or anyone else spend more than they'd like on anything, just advising folks that cheap price means cheap quality, less than perfect shipping, weak customer service, etc. Same as with pretty much anything else you're going to spend your money on.

I have. I did have to pay $1.00 for shipping but that wasnt a big deal. He said if the item doesnt sell through DHgate, he cant ship it via ePacket so I bought an item, he adjusted the price down to $1.00 and I paid that so he could send me a 186 replacement. Looks like I probably have at least another week before the replacement shows up.

Some of your questions are better suited for the LSV thread IMO since there would be more people to help you. Buying the D020-K does not sound like a good strategy, sure it has a male joint and would directly connect with the LSV heater but are you really going to try to pack a bowl in the bubbler? This is based on my understanding of how the LSV works, I could be mistaken.....

I think a few people have ordered the D020-T but size wise its more in line with the D020 (12.5cm can vs 12cm can in the D020)

The G18 also has a similarly sized can as D020-T. Nothing wrong with this size if you like it. Many of the sunshinestore pieces give you the size in the pictures.

Seems like with yingman5 you would be taking a bigger risk than sunshinestore of getting a less than perfect piece, but design wise I feel like the GB-187/GB-186 is superior to the G18. The G18 should have the joint coming in at the bottom so its not obstructing bubble stackage (kind of the point of a "birdcage" perc).

How big is your bong that you want to replace? The WP010, GB-186, and GB-189 (review here) seem to be the largest volume bubblers. Whatever you decide on let us know how it goes!

Thanks so much Olivia! I tried posting on the LSV thread but didn't get much response yet, so i thought id check with the cheap glass experts over here. I love how active this thread is, thanks to everyone else who responded, you guys are all great!

So now I do think maybe the WP010 isn't the best balance of diffusion and size for my first bubbler (my bong did have a tree perc in the middle though). And as a result I also came to realize the g18 also may be too big (and I didn't want to risk yingmin yet for my first purchase). My bong was 12inches and i actually always felt like it was a little big, so the forced-opportunity to downsize is a blessing in disguise (tho from what I've read about the LSV, it probably could've handled it).

Anyhow, after searchig through some old posts thanks to you, I ended up settling on the D020-T (shout out to @ataxian for testing the waters with it and posting those pics, thanks dude!). It seems like exactly what I was looking for, a decent balance of diffusion for a vapor-bubbler beginner and size versatile enough for group or solo (or Solo, badumdum...) use. I also think the form factor will suit the lengthy LSV better than the D020's and i like the taller mouthpiece as well. I see the can height listed, but Ataxian do you know how tall it is top to bottom?

I will of course report back once I receive the piece and try it out with whatever I can!

That's pretty cool but not a gg joint. Would probably make for a unique whip mouthpiece with a little mcgyvering...

One night in the throes of GAS I needed a fix so I pulled this item off my wish list (this was on DHGate at the time from Kathy) and bought it. Long story short: never received it. She jerked me around for about a month with promises and then the same day as her last excuse she abruptly returned my money.

Wonder if anybody actually has gotten one of these and what it's like.

I have one and it's actually pretty well done. The mouthpiece is very ... suggestive but other than that it's a nice little bubbler.
