Alright got my indica today, love it in every way but my only problem is the smell.... I was hoping it would smell less, maybe it does on lower temps (I was at green) but I had only turned it on in my room and the smell had lingered there until my mom came home 15 minutes later and noticed the smell in my room. I used the vape outside and it was great, and I imagine being outside with it is fine, but not the type of vape for closed spaces if you don't want it to smell. She didnt care but she doesnt really know I have weed at home. I said I just didnt know what it was.

So I've been using the hell out of my Indica and PAX for the last week trying to work up a review for you guys.
When I use my Indica I just load and go.
When I use my PAX, I usually half pack the chamber with a SS screen (IMO it gets better airflow).

To do a fair comparison, I've been fully packing the PAX chamber, and using the same amount in each vape.
I am also using a stock Indica mouthpiece to be fair to both (I have a modified mouthpiece, one that hits much better, but its not stock so I won't be using it)

I did 6 hit sessions, and full sessions till the vapes shut off.

People want to see a comparison between the PAX & Indica, so I am doing just that, same amount in oven, same draw time on each. Both in their stock from the company form.
It seems a little unfair to the PAX (IMO) because the Indica has 2 lower settings, but that's life Mr PAX.

I will have a thorough, but to the point comparison between the 2 this weekend.
This has been a fun review to do, (2 of my favorite load and go temperature adjustable conduction vapes), but with no modifications to either. :nod:

Exhaled Vapor Smells Like exhaled vapor it doesn't make any difference what vaporizer you use when you blow vapor into a room it smells, don't let anyone convince you otherwise. It just doesn't stink or linger as long as smoking does.

Where did you get the other mouth piece for the indica?

I just took my mouthpiece off and ran a 3/32nd bit through it, it's the same diameter as the ID of the tube from the oven.
You can run a 2/32nd bit through (I would recommend doing this first anyway) and open the hole up a bit more with no worries. With the 3/32nds bit, you have to be very careful and make sure you don't damage the "horn". This gives less draw restriction.

From what I can tell, the "horn" is a rather clever way of keeping debris out of your mouth if you're screenless (I don't use a screen).

I might try using a screen for a week and boring the mouthpiece hole out even larger for fun and see how that works (or doesn't)

If you do it carefully, you can retain the "horn" on the inside of the mouthpiece.

I just made a silicone piece of tubing that fits over the oven tube and goes straight to the "horn" on the inside of the mouthpiece at an angle, I'm going to see how that works (or doesn't)

Doing the Indica/PAX comparison got my creative juices flowing.
I have another idea coming for the Indica, but that'll have to wait for now

How many places are currently selling the Indica ? So far I've found the Indica site, vapor nation and the massdrop sale. Has anyone come across some more?

I wonder if there is any difference in the models that some of the sites have for sale vs the ones from the Indica company. As in would the units from the Indica site, say be any newer or updated?

IMO, I would think they're all set to the same standards before leaving the factory.
I thought they were going for like $150 on mass drop and $170 or so somewhere else?
Either way, they are coming dealer direct. There is no other source.

Mass drop had it for $149.99 +$8 shipping and it's $169 on vapor nation with free shipping. Vapor nation says they're out of stock and have an eta of 6 days to restock so it definitely comes from the manufacturer.

Been following this vape since beta. I've been impressed with the initial reviews, and also the customer service. Now I'm very tempted to pull the trigger while the price is so good.

Are there any Indica owners out there that also own the Pinnacle Pro w/ the new Engineering PGonG? I was wondering if the Indica was a clear winner on taste/flavor compared to the PnP with the new PGonG?

ps. If the Indica is close to the Solo's taste/flavor, then I'm definitely in.

IMO, The PnP with the glass Pong is much hotter than the Indica, so it's not quite as tasty but still good.
IMO you can't get better flavor than the Indica lower temp settings comparatively speaking.

As for the solo on low temps (temp 2), the Indica tastes just as good if not better IMO, but the Indica lasts a lot longer.

The SOLO is phenomenal, but not very portable.
The Indica will satisfy your taste buds if your looking for a very tasty portable conduction unit.

It wasnt the vaporizer as I said, the smell came from the door that covers where the herb chamber is. The room smelled and I didnt even use the vape in there I had only turned it on

Yes, I believe you can get "more" tastier hits from the Indica and they taste great through all 5 settings. The solos lowest "vapable" setting is 365 and the Indicas is 340

I went with vapor nation. It said 6 days to restock when I ordered it 2 days ago. But with the mass drop you have to wait for them to put the order in for 70+ people then indica ships it to mass drop and then mass drop to you. It's $11 more on vapor nation but you get to choose two free gifts so it's worth it.

Getting an Indica gifted to me for Father's Day...since it's coming from the MassDrop sale, I figure it should probably get here sometime pretty close to the holiday. Stoked to try out this vape and see how it compares to past portables I've owned.

Where is everyone seeing the $169 price on Vapor Nation? I'm seeing $199.99. I have tried both the MEM14 coupon code and the SPR14 code during checkout and the price does not change. Grand total is still 199.99.

Same here. Also tried the FC16 code. All the codes say 'applied succesfully' but the price doesn't change. Tried their 24 hr online live chat function but I've been "no.1 in line with a waiting time of 5 mins" for over an an hour.

Edit: Oh well. I just got in on the Massdrop deal with 5 mins to go. $164 including international shipping. I can't wait to try this vape out.

This will be my 3rd vape from Massdrop. I previously got a Solo for $133 and Pinnacle Pro for $163 including international shipping on both.

Yeah bc when they're on they're cooking, conduction vapes just smell in general. The Ascent really reeked like no other. Ive heard Pax is bad too (even when off). The Indica is very good at smell (with none when turned off), FOR a conduction session vape. That qualifier is very important, nobobdy should expect this /or most any other vape honestly) to not smell like weed...

Get some Ozium.. Spray it in your room while you are smoking and there will be no smell.

Don't spray it too much though.. That stuff is strong..

Does anyone know if there is currently any kinda of a discount code to use on the Indica company site? I would like to be able to snag it for the $169 like they had over at Vapor Nation. But I guess that sale is no longer going on, I know the discount code don't seem to be working for me or anyone else. Unless maybe it's not working because they are out of stock...Not sure..re.

But I do know that, I REALLY wanna get this thing ordered!! LoL

Could anyone make a list of sites currently selling the Indica, other than the company site and vapor nation?(If there is anymore) I think that would be great, since it's a fairly new company/model and they are currently only being carried by a couple of places.
