@hoyo77 For the most part I like the blanks to be a little larger than they have to be, they ve me a little more to work with yes, but a little more is better than not enough. Usually anything from 7/8" to 1" square X no less than 4" in length. Those should be easy enough to find. Thank you for putting your trust in me, that means alot!

@Caligula I took a day off from the Lapis, I had gotten frustrated with it and needed to take a time out and gather my thoughts. I am gonna work on it tonight and hopefully have better results. Hang in there with me!

When I use the stem Ed made me for my Solo, I use this on my lips and a little on the tip of the stem.

This turned my EV-2 into a beast, really fine work Ed.

A wood roasting bowl gives such amazing results for convection vaporizing I don't understand why their not utilized more often. I'd like to see more and own more.

How often does one use the Ass Butter?
Is it simply a protective coat and polish?

I certainly want to take care of my stem, I envision having this a long long time...

I use the Eds Balm Ass Butter on the end of the stem that's inserted into the unit. I used it also to condition the wood.

Use the butter as often as you like to keep the wood beautiful and conditioned. Also use it as an anti joint lock when using your stem or wong with water. Just like with glass gongs, it'll never get stuck.

I got my WonG today in the mail! I really love it!

I have a question, though. It is exactly like the Blackwood stem I got from Ed last week. Couldn't I just use them both as a WonG/Stem? I don't really see the difference except for the fact that the Blackwood is more stealthy. :nod:

Vicki - I am using my wong for both water AND stem. Perfect for any occasion and I don't feel any extra heat at all! Draw is heavenly!

All of ed's solo stems can be used as a wong, Usually the pieces sold as wongs are shorter but a short stem is a wong, a wong a short stem. Regular stem = long wong

his way older solo stems were not tapered as much, and do not work as a wong like the newer ones do.
