Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask this question, but for you VXN users, how would you compare the VXN to something like the D-Nail? Or other E-Nail setups.

I'm very curious on how the all glass nature of the EVO would compare.

....sorry Dr..my previous experience with nails was limited ...to be honest it seemed a lot of trouble and it required additional knowledge which...took my out of my comfort zone...the evo process is a lot simpler, where even I can adapt...stonemonkey says the evo extracts more out of a little...it certainly works....

Received my HydraFoot 2.0. Won't have the op for a real vaping test for another month (medical forced t-break), but I did do a simulation with the HF and my HydraLine water-filled along with the EVO with a half-filled ELB. In other words, everything the same but w/o heat.

Mostly I wanted to feel the action and the effect on drag. I was pleasantly surprised in both respects. I could barely detect any additional drag compared to just using the HL/EVO alone. Very smooth. Presumably the 40 slits are the reason. No typo there, forty! Nice sorta frothy action which along with the HL makes the two very complimentary.

The glass is very solid. The VXL site says this is a "Limited Edition" using 70mm tubing, and the difference is evident. The piece weighs a tad over 1 lb, the base is 5", the can is 3" height x 2.75" diameter. It also has a cool Swagger logo (the script style, not that ugly oval decal) across the face of the can.

Frankly I was a bit skeptical about the price, but now having seen and played a bit with it, no doubt that the value is there. This piece is going to see regular duty and is a great addition to my Cloud glass collection.

To SM: There have been comments before about the website store needing to have more complete descriptions of some of the products, and more accurate illustrations. I have to add my voice to that feedback. IMO, frankly some items like this HF 2.0 are being under-sold. The illustration depicts a much smaller perc; there is a helluva big difference between the ~16 slits shown and the real perc's 40. There should be mention of the smoothness of the action and the negligible effect on drag, addressing natural questions of the prospective buyer about the effect of adding another diffusion piece into the vapor flow. The size of the base and weight should also be provided; that 1 lb sitting on 5" really adds stability. On a different note, the store charged $25 for "standard shipping". I wondered why the cost was that high, given that "standard shipping" ordinarily means by truck, 3-5 business days. The actual shipping was USPS Priority 2-Day; in that case, the $25 makes sense. The store should make clear that expedited shipping is being used, avoiding customer frustration. There is no "standard shipping" offered in the typical sense of the term. :2c:

Bottom line, a super nice piece and IMHO high recommended.

Next month I'll update with usage details and pics.

...sometimes you get what you pay for....these products although "pricey" deliver a level of enjoyment which are frankly unprecedented ....in the american model we have become quite numb to hyperbole as the "market place" becomes a continuous barrage of commercials and endorsement of one product or another...it's rare to find an experience which delivers as stated...

Which whip/glass adapters are you guys using? I think all I need is the 18mm female to go over the EVO Gong/VXN, then push it into a whip and then the whip to a male/male 18mm to then plug into the HT2.0.

Vaped VXNs all weekend, could not stop. Although I managed to convince myself that 2 VXNs is good, don't need 3-4 at a time! OG Kush Oil was fantastic, so clean, the flavor is fantastic, and the medicine delivery is fast and hard.

The glass pieces are just some I had hanging around. One of the pieces goes with my "Hotbox" vaporizer, and the other is an 18.mm F to tube connection.

Hexi you can drop a Female female on there cyclone bowl style and then drop in one of those whip tubing glass adapters. That would be a slick set up. More parts but a better seal.l

Is this because you are using the vxn, which does not want to be used upside-down?

Yes, that is correct. I wanted to dab using my (only) Mobius glass piece, which can't be turned upside down, either.

bahhh, they look so silly imo and I don't want a stubby holder on my vape. Good old air insulation works on plenty of other vapes but not this high tech flop.

Don't get me wrong I love what the vape does but c'mon.

Cant wait to finally receive my indiegogo evo, maybe, hopefully, one day?????
Could we get a date for the international units?

I will have an update Thursday. The engineers have been testing an algorithm and (knock on wood) so far so good. They have been able to find and eliminate many variables and we are getting very close to a working solution. I will send you guys all a personal email either Thursday or Friday :)

We will be coming out with our own adapter kits as well. After playing around with a few different homemade versions, we have found the proper angles for the adapters to work as seamless as possible. We will have adapters for traditional 18 and 14.4 mm waterpipes and adapters for rigs that feature 10, 14, and 18 mm male joints.

Anyone see this in person or in a vid? It looks badass actually
Well, I own one, so I've seen one in person ;)

I'll try to record a vid for ya, but it probably won't be for a few days.

It's a pretty small piece, the ID of the can is pretty close to 18mm.

I like its "convertible" style, where it has a regular upwards facing joint in addition to the downward facing hydratube joint.
It means you can either use it as a hydratube, with a built in cloud buddy style carb stopper, or you can use it like a regular bubbler, by placing the stopper (or hydrafoot) in the bottom joint.

I'd actually like to see VXL add a hydratube to their line that has something similar...

And it's Got a removable mouthpiece, so with an adapter you could throw another hydratube on top of it (though I've never found the new to do so )

The piece has some drag to it, due to it being such a small frit disc, I don't mind it, but I recall reading another member saying they weren't the biggest fan of it...

Ahhhh ok, I was looking at just getting assassin 2.0 fritted disc necktie, no base. Not sure if I'll pull the trigger on it.

That was probably me. I do think it has too much drag, but I still break it out once in a while. Here is a vid I did with it a few months ago with my Devastator(:rip:).

Just checked the GBD site, the assassin fritter tube is a different design to the one I got from them.
Looks like they no longer have the design that I have.

Experimenting with wax in an ELB. So far pinching tiny pieces of material and wrapping the wax inside is working best. Huge clouds :o
Nothing gets me where I want to be like the evo :)

Looks reaallllly nice..the HT looks like it will sit higher apposed to no gap on the old design...I kinda like it looking as if they are one when an HT is on. Looks really well built!
I agree, I like it quite a bit but would prefer a more flush fit like the original.

grokit,
so glad to almost always see this always near the top on the plug in vapes, really nice to this community is active

Question for you guys. I am about to buy a Vapexhale Cloud EVO off Ebay from a Authorized Seller (Vaporwarehouse). Would you guys suggest that? AND is this still one of the best as far as plug in capes with no price as the limit? Thanks, cause I will pay more if I need to. Also would I be able to get the warrantee with buying it there? If anyone has bought one off ebay let me know. thanks
