Put a nail on that and a little bit of water and it's a natural perc.

No, but toss on an ash catcher and you've got a sweet bubbler.

When I asked for a J-hook at my LHS, he pulled out something very similar to that one and said it was $30 which was a very fair price for that kind of shop (usually their pieces are overpriced)

Just found this new straight tube from a seller on DHgate called Cleanclearglass:

The perc looks pretty cool (kind of like a pitchfork or something) and it is only $45 with shipping to the US :) I may have to get this one if I don't like the GB-194…

This ash catcher caught my eye. Very basic perc for maximum flavor and a nice dewar joint. Plus it is only $13 w/ shipping to the US. I just need a Jhook now.

This is only a small sample of some of the pieces I use.

@jambandphan03 makes a good point.
The ash collector is not made to work with a vaporizer.

If you like bong style mouth pieces like the water pipe link go for it!

I would not buy it even if it was .10 cents.

Yes they get it out the door to post MUCH faster than anything else I've ever ordered from China. I normally order on Thursday my time, and it ships out Friday their time. Usually doesn't leave the post office (processed through departure) until the following week. This time however, it looks like it got out before the weekend.

Now if only my e-Nano would ship today, that would make for an AWESOME upcoming weekend

THANK YOU AGAIN @BoogerMan !! With the three pieces I'm looking at now it almost seems I'm going for more diffusion and smoothness with my larger set rigs, and less for my smaller ones. As size decreases with my recycler picks, there will be fewer percolaters and diffusion; however, the smaller set pieces should likely deliver the most amount of flavor.

So as for what to get for these; I already have a glas dome piece, but I definitely want to get domeless pieces (and might just get them in quartz, ceramic and titanium too xD). For the quartz and ceramic pieces I really want to get a domeless with slits though cause I hear it works a bit better.

Btw I'm really liking the J-hook and ash catcher that you guys are discussing! As a gift for a friend I wanted to possible purchase one (for flowers not concentrates). I know water pipes are always the way to go. He's an older dude and doesn't play much with anything but smoking pipes; however, I do think a nice sturdy standing ash catcher could quickly change his mind ! I know its being discussed right now, but what would be a good ash catcher setup (possibly with a J-hook mouth piece) ? Yes, I know pics have been pasted, but I just want to confirm quality (especially from @BoogerMan xD).

In the event all fails and he really just seems to want a pocket piece, I'll probably go with a basic pocket smoking piece. I haven't checked out any discussions about dry smoking pipes, but are there any on dhgate.com that are a definite buy?

This came on Friday. Pretty nice!

It recycles water nicely but doesn't vortex(didn't expect it to). The top part of the can is solid like a marble, nice accents and overall pretty solid. The dome doesn't work too well with my Ti nail though, as the nail is just slightly too big as I found out after this picture. Not a worry as I have another dome that works well with it.

FYI - The description on this said 14mm, but it's 10mm...not a big deal for me but something to consider. Looks like most of the mini rigs say 10mm though.

I just ordered a bubbler, a bong, and some adapters from sunshinestore on dhgate. Didn't see any other options for shipping than for $40 to Miami. Is that right/consistent with other peoples' orders?

i love it. there are some minor scratches, and the perc is *slightly* offset, but it doesn't affect the function and you can barely tell. it isn't set wrong, the perc just isn't 100% proportional. no big deal, looks fine. the weld on the mouthpiece joint is straight, clean, and strong. the glass overall is VERY thick and heavy, feels very solid. the foot is very circular, and a uniform thickness all around. and when i say thick, ......trust me its really thick. the mouthpiece feels great, is a perfect size, and IT'S NOT THIN! overall i love this piece. i just vaped a bunch out of it, and it's far exceeded my expectations. it took 5 days from the day i ordered it to get to my door in texas. awesome. i'll upload some HQ pics later tonight or tomorrow.

His status shows "unapproved commercial account", and he posted from May 9 to May 11. Maybe he doesn't know how to get approval? Seems like his English was passable. Certainly better than my Cantonese :lol:
It would be great to have one of the China glass vendors here.

We've been trading emails. He sent me pictures of a bunch of new pieces but they arent the best pictures. I asked for some better ones and said Id show them to you guys... From what I could see, nothing earth shattering but the pictures werent the best

I dunno what it takes to be a vendor here but I can certainly see how his english could be a barrier...
