Hey, just wondering if you have a newer link to the best 18mm F / F adapter available? The links I've followed so far have all turned out expired or charge ridiculous shipping to Canada haha.
Forgive me, but I'm new to all this upgrading stuff. I'm also looking to replace the stock PVC tubing of my Arizer, get a new elbow joint and possibly pick up the wand as well. Think you could link me to some options?

Scroll up and check out the elbow joints I got today from SSV accessory store. 10/10 stuff! And I got a silicone tube from them also and it is perfect. Highly reccomended

will i need to modify it and put more screens in it for it to give me satisfactory results at a .15g load size? also, i usually elbow pack and run it through my bong at 420 fahrenheit, kicking it up all the way to 450 before the sesh is over. should i adjust the temp. at all when i start using the ddave mod?

With the DDave adapter and SSV wand I have mine at 207*c which is 405.6 F. I don't adjust the temp like I use to with the cyclone bowl and my Solo. I leave my EQ at 200* usually and while I warm the wand I kick it to 207*c with the fan on #1. When the wand is warm to touch half way up its ready. Maybe 5 minutes probably less. I think it works much better pre warmed and after loading, it doesn't hurt to let it heat soak for a couple minutes. These are not a must but will result in the best vapor. I am not saying that you can't change temps I just have not had a reason to do so with this setup. Your results may vary. The amount of vapor is amazing to me.

Your 18mm male ssv stem, capped with an eq elbow screen, fits into the 18mm female adapter. From there you can direct draw or run tubing from the ssv stem into a bubbler, or just use it as a whip.

my adapter came in today, (but not the SSV wand yet) and i tried it out with my D020-D. after disappointing results with the original cyclone bowl and the D020-D, the adapter and the stock elbow did much better. its almost as good as my boyfriend's DBV with the stock elbow. not quite as thick, but it milks the piece much better. i'm hoping when the SSV wand comes in the vapor will be even better. am i right in thiking it should be?

I use a dbv wand for my mod (similar to the ssv) and cap it with a modified eq elbow bowl. Doing this allows me to position the herb just about on top of the heating element. IMO, the goal is to get the herb as close to the heating element as possible. I tried it last night with a dhgate bubbler and it worked very well.

Does anyone else get a dry sore on the top of the mouth from using the whip? Mine feels very raw, and I also get an itching in the back of my throat the day after a vape usage.
I haven't ordered a water filtration recycler yet but I hope that it fixes the issue of what feels like harsh, dry vapour damaging my mouth and making my teeth feel a bit strange.

Water filtration should cool it off some, though I havent used the eq whip in a very long time and forget exactly how it tastes that way. I prefer direct draw through an ssv/dbv wand or the vxl dry mouthpiece, or whip through water.

It's a bit harsh when i start getting above 200 degrees C.
Starts tasting strangely metallic and I really feel it hit my tongue, teeth and top of the mouth quite rough and dry.
IDirect draw is essentially just the vape + a hollowed out glass stick so that you're kinda hitting it like a bong? I'd imagine that being 10x more harsh in my case, but I am not vaping cannabis so it's a whole different ballgame

Are you preheating all glass? I had no problem milking an even bigger bubbler with stock glass. Just run it on 220C when all is hothothot!

Interesting. Too bad I have never tried the DBV... In my experience arizer works fine, I don't even have high enough tolerance to milk my piece. I'd start coughing half way through haha!
I know that user @Tweak prefered DBV over EQ, until he came up with the wand idea. Hopefully he will hop in and elaborate on this. He also owns the DHGate pieces.

Link to where you got your DDave adapter from?my solo, wand, and whip should be here todayso i'll try it out then. it works really great with the DDave adapter, and i must admit it looks much better on the EQ than the stock cyclone bowl did
and does the screen fit into it comfortably?this will be my very next purchase I think

Actually I like the SSV over the EQ. No need to preheat any glass beside the heating element and heater cover. It is ready in <5 minutes and can be left on 24/7.
But I was also a cloud chaser, wanted thicker vapor. The nano has changed that, so my opinion might change if I still had an EQ to try and a DDave adapter.
My friend has an EQ I've thought about borrowing/buying from him, he never uses it.
Wonder if there is a way to disable the auto-shutoff? I see no reason it is needed.
I think the EQ could have a huge potential for efficiency if the bowl size was even more narrow than the SSV wand.
On my unit, when selecting the duration of time for the auto-shutoff, there is a Zero value. When i select this, the green LED goes out and the unit never shuts off.
