Almost there...
Awesome work @Snappo !!!

I love the oil ones as they draw your eyes all over the place!
Very busy, I Love it!!!

Do you remember the story behind the off kilter pencil drawing one of the guys with hats?
It is almost drawn at a 30 degree angle.
It is the 9th one from the start of the line art.

I admire your talent and creativity!

Well thank you! Not sure of the one you mean ...can you copy/paste it here for me, or describe again. I really want to share some back story with you, if I can remember ...and I want to remember!

This one.
It would be fascinating to know what you were thinking!
Yes! As a matter of fact, I DO REMEMBER the drift of this piece: A pair of Father & son on same yet alternate paths, meant to be viewed as symbolic and abstract, even archetypal, in concept. Neither is meant to be a clone of the other. They are unique, as are their paths in life.. Lines are meant for direction and movement and perspective. In a way for me these are/were remote viewings into something perhaps real. Now, with all that said, I just found myself thinking could it be a false memory, one that actually developed after the fact, and then adopted for all time after that - of that I cannot be certain either way. Memory can work that way I think. You may notice a familiarity of theme/s in a sketch some pics down from that one.

Cool!! Memory trick or not, it is a great story!
I was totally on the wrong track when i was musing over it.
I also noticed some other similar pieces, must have been done around the same period.

Not quite sure why it caught my attention like that!
Very thought provoking!

Thanks for the honest answer!

When I have some extra time I am going to sit down and take in each painting individually. They are very beautiful and some of those freehand drawings are unique to say the least! I especially like this one

Keep it up man! Please go through all your old art books and dig up some more of these! I think I found a new wallpaper for my gaming PC

From a 'lower than the horizon perspective', this one has me peering outward into an alien city of sorts from the back of a long park trench. The left side climbs then turns while the front and right side pull you upward, over, and out. Tonal gradations also add to the perspective and attractive force. I can't honestly say what my intention was, if any, behind it's development process. But this is how I see it now. My description was a bare bones point of entry, and perhaps quite the fabrication IDK. Any more seen into it must be of your own creation. The journey continues!

I just see a sleepy, abstract and playful landscape in the vast emptiness of the subconscious :D
