18mm GonG:



Image was taken pre-screen insertion. After testing it out, I'm really liking it. It's a bit easier to grab onto than a stock heavy glass GonG and the warts work great as a heat buffer. An added benefit is that I can now "color-code" my loads, packing different material between separate GonGs.

One more with it complementing my enano:

I got my GonG on Wednesday and V&C included a dry stem with it!



The GonG is great. First it looks fantastic...second it functions so much better than the stock GonG I got from Andy. The stock GonG would get stuck all the time, this one never gets stuck because the heat is far enough away from the joint. Its also easier to use, I can just pick up the entire GonG/Nano when I clear instead of HAVING to remove the Nano first then the GonG.

The dry stem has somewhat converted me. Over the 14 or so months I've had the Nano I've had maybe 3 dry stems before getting this thing. I've had 4 dry stems since getting it. I really like the mouth piece. My friend loves it too...since using the dry stem he is really considering getting a Nano.

I'm already lining up my next order...a purple/slyme bowl-stem and an 18mm female GonG to match my birdcycler.

OK... so guess I'll have to be the first to complain about V&C's work.

My gripe? This GonG is just too fuckin pretty!! It beckons me from across the room, glistening in the sunlight with its blue & green loveliness, begging me to come give her another load. At night, a flicker from the TV will hit her just right and she seems to wink at me. I haven't started having conversations with her yet, nor am I calling her my presssss-ious, but I'd swear I was invisible for a few moments last night while getting one of those killer hits through her from the nano.

I usually try to go pretty light on the stash, but this bitch makes it near impossible!

I'm only putting this out here as fair warning to others. If you're prone to leaving your GonG on top of your piece like I am, you'd better stock up and be ready for serious temptation. So far the only way I'm able to resist is to leave the house, or put her down on the table and cover her up with a napkin. I already had to put her sister, the stem, in my toy box. The two of them on the same table together were double-teaming me into getting way too vaked, way too much!

So take heed... if you already find the nano very tempting, adding some of this gorgeous glass will make it much worse.

On a bit of a more serious note... hard to say for certain because having trouble putting a stock GonG back on for comparison, but think I REALLY like the longer GonG much better. Shouldn't make much of a difference in theory, but would swear it delivers consistently better hits. Then again, could just be my infatuation adding to the equation.

My ol' lady was reading you guys' comments the other day and I saw her eyes well up with tears. I asked her what was wrong and she said it was tears of pride. She has stood beside me throughout this whole endeavor and gone without a lot of things just so I could try to achieve my dream. She has been my rock (I know... Cliche... But soo true).

My point is I know I tell you guys thanks a lot but, from the bottom of my heart thank each and every one of you! Whether it be a purchase or just a kind word, thank you. You're changing lives whether you know it or not.

Flotntoke...I'm glad you said it. I noticed the same performance increase with this new GonG but I thought it was just me...like placebo effect or something because I'm excited about the new piece.

Basicially it seems like I am getting a lot more visible vapor with the new GonG than I was with the old one. Not that the old one was bad but it just seems like the loads are going for several more hits now than before where they would start getting wispy after 3-4 hits.

That's so awesome. You should be super proud of yourself. You obviously have a knack for this, and you are growing your skills the right way. Congrats on this endeavour being a success so far and I certainly hope it continues to do well for you.

Now figure out some SSV wands or heater covers or something so I can be a customer too!

good idea. he could make some sort of dab kit for hakko soldering irons... similar to the DBV dab kit thing.

Soon I want to purchase a stem and gong for my nano from you vapednconfused...wonders what is now available...i sure liked the green n black striped set a few pages back..can we request what colors we want or will that be a special order deal..or i can sit n look here daily when you post pics of whats available!

@Reflections .... I would highly recommend the green & black set. Mine very similar but blue instead of black. Love both pieces!!

Pretty sure the green & black set in the photo above has a 14mm GonG. If it was an 18, I would have bought it instead of waiting for my 18mm set.

It can be a bit harsh (warm and dry), but the flavor is so amazing dry.

I used my stock stem last night for a change, hated how it was so plain, lol. Now you got me staring at my GonG thinking how pretty it could be.

Yeah V&C, what is the hold up, . I can't wait to see how a worked SSV mini-wand looks.

Think you could do me a Rasta Colored GonG to match my new Rasta GB-187? I really don't like labels on my Glass but it would be pretty cool if the label matched the GonG.

@Tweak I'm sure I can do that on the gong. As for the ssv wands I've just been really busy filling nano orders and a couple custom adapters then I'll be able to get back to my experiments. Same goes for solo stuff.
