cheers brother ill check that out now.

Thanks Dave! Yup, it's a film container for AVB. I've got a litte jar for fresh herbs =) Not everyone has gone digital

It's a silicone whip, I got rid of the stock PVC the 1st day I got eq. I broke one elbow piece and I have a m/m adapter in the bong - elbows work better but they are kinda expensive. You can use it with a water pipe out of the box! About filtration. It takes away some flavor (good ones and burnt ones) but it makes huge hits very smooth. I don't have iron lungs for sure. A lot of people complain on efficiency. Mods aside, used with a bong EQ knocks me out in 2-3 hits.

To the rescue! Write at unikatowebonga@gmail.com. Polish glass blowing company, makes the smallest adapater so far (pic on the previous page). Piece cost is 8$ + shipping.

Now something that got me excited about bags again, although pic is taken with a potato and whip is ofc too long. I have also managed to find a way to handle all this hot glass. The key is to 'twist out' instead of 'pulling out', saved me lots of hassle.

So you reckon that makes bags as good as the volcano?

I to stopped making bags when I got my transformer tube, but whilst I'm getting a f/f adapter anyway for £1.80 I may as well get a m/m if you recommend?

It was custom made, sorry, hence the email. Perhaps you could arrange cheaper shipment as it is a small piece, unlike usual big bong packages. I got it in a letter, not package. Prices on website are defienietly in regard of DHL kind of delivery.

Re: bags as good as volcano. I have never tried a Volcano but bags are awesome anyway. Blowing them upwards makes it just less messy. The m/m adapter is in fact their dabbing piece - I'm not sure what's up with the size though.. Mine is 18.8mm(?)

A person on previous page says the vape sucks and we are trying to make it work but it just sucks. I want to say I didn't try new bowls to 'fix eq', in my opinion used with good quality herb this vape is amazing. I get too high to soon to replace herbs even if I was dared to. I have read about people in US medica/legal states having really bad tolerance, maybe that's the issue. Or flower quality.

Thanks for your reply

I want to try the SSV wand setup that newcastle and DDave are using

I have a UK source for my wand but need an adapter, is it a 18mm F/F adapter I need or 18m/m mm

Im going to email that company to see what they say

Do you have a UK source for silicone tubing?

Does anyone have both the Solo AND the Extreme Q? I got my Extreme Q last year and got my solo a little while ago. I've noticed that I get stronger vapor per hit from my Solo due to shorter length it has to travel but the vapor from the Extreme Q is much cooler to my teeth. I've been trying to figure something out lately.

Having both- would you say one is more efficient than the other? Getting more hits out of the same material I mean. I love both but I haven't put much effort into using my Extreme Q lately and I'd like to use it but I'm not sure what situations it would be optimum. Sometimes I switch just for a difference in tolerance but I still keep coming back to my Solo.

@MPhire, I've got both & love both.

The Solo could take place of the EQ, if I were only able to have a single vape. EQ, can't say the same as not portable enough. For me, each fills it's own nitch... EQ w/adapter stays powered on all day, ready for use whenever. Solo waits for a remote need. On occasion, mix concentrates and flower in the Solo, not the EQ, as far easier for me to clean the Solo stem.

I believe you will hear many report the Solo being more efficient.

Will this be a good addition to my EQ? And will it fit? If I am going to attach the EQ to a bubbler then something like this would increase airflow and be a good idea right? :)

And can someone confirm 100% that this replacement tube will connect to my EQ? (or to the Ground Glass Water Pipe Adapter above)

AND does the EQ have a good base for resting on glass tables, or should I pick up a 6" Glass Gripper 3.0?

@Deja Vu,

Has same function as Arizer Elbow.
http://silversurfervap.com/accessor...nd-gear/ground-glass-water-pipe-adapter.html#

The SSV tube you provide a link to will fit your EQ pieces. Believe there are past references verifying in this thread.

The EQ has a nice base. IMHO, nothing else needed to stabilize.

This Glass Gripper looks to "stick" and if the whip connected to the EQ was pulled by accident with any force, I could see heater cover or other glass maybe breaking?

Many different techniques. Some slow, drawn out, drags.... all the way to the other extreme of someone stating they drag so hard and try to "pull the guts out of the unit"... ;)

Experimentation to find what suites you best...

like how hard and how long?
See above...

There are other postings of just this.. Fan assisted whip hits.

and how much water?
Same, many different glass configurations. From what I've read, water lessens flavor a bit, but not THC. Not sure volume of water is critical as some use regular bong just covering downstem holes, others use recyclers for which vapor comes into much more contact with the water.

Much of this you will be able to determine by experimenting to find your personal preferences.

Hey mate,

just got an email back from that polish company, they can make the part for me for €12.50 inc shipping which is a great price, thanks for that

My question:

When ordering yours did you order an 18mm or 18.8mm adapter and did you ask them to put a ledge in yours for a screen?

I want to order the 18mm f/f adapter to use with the SSV wand

Thank you for that answer. I read somewhere that the SSV Elbow served to provide better airflow than the standard Arizer elbow. Can you confirm this or is it all rubbish?
& that is great news regarding the base of the EQ and the SSV hose! Thank you :)

edit: In fact, nevermind @DDave . I found this video and the dude seems like he knows what he is talking about. May be relevant to other EQ owners here! Only goes for 2 mins and covers custom hose & elbows

@Deja Vu, in regards to better airflow, I've not used one but I can definitely vouch for the restrictiveness of the stock Arizer Elbows!

Nice find on the video and thanks for the contribution to the thread!

I've asked enough, it's time to start giving :) That video really helped me grasp the concept of different mm connectors and adapters. Helps to SEE it sometimes to really make proper sense of it.

Edit: Just got an email from DreamHerbs.com.au (Australian retailer of vapes herbs and bongs) and my EQ will arrive any day now :) ETA is today or tomorrow!

and here is my accessory list so far for my new EQ. Very very excited

Just send them the picI shared two pages back, I'm sure the second one they make in two weeks time will be exactly the same.
I am confident 18.8 is the same as 18mm, just a mater of nomenclature/coloqualism.

Thanks for your reply again mate

Gonna order the 18mm f/f to use with the wand

Im also liking the look of the 18mm m/m adapter you posted, it makes the bags look awesome

Is the m/m also 18mm or is it 14mm (i may as well order that too)

Thanks again

I guess 18 as it fits the f/f connector. I don't see 18 one on their website, it was again custom made for me because their original glass vape set was crap :p All is good now, they had some glass blowing euipment held by customs in late 2013.

I am glad I could help. Since we are talking about custom pieces I'll just leave this here.

Very nice idea, I was looking this days to order the 18"female adapter like the DDave adapter and I saw some adapter for the Volcano Easy Valve. I think the diameter of the tube it's a little less in the Q elbow than in the Volcano adpater, right?
I think this can be a good idea to use the Volcano valve and not the original glass tube from the Q with any valve to stop (now I'm using pen caps for this xD)

Thanks for all the help!

There is also this thing.
253_0.jpg

The real issue here is how to remove baloon from "dock" without taking out all glass/burning fingers. Glass tends to stick to itself. Do Volcano bags need any dissambling or do these slip off when you
press the valve? I was never a fan of valves (seem kinda pointless as I use my vapor, not store it, quicker the better) and my final conclusion was what I posted above + a handle. A handle would solve
all handling issues.

I am not sure however if bags work as good when blown upwards. I have troubles standarizing my herb though... Anyway, I'm not complaining.

He told me he could use and even widder piece of glass tubing (where the whip attaches) or even bend it in a different direction. I love the downward angle for my water pipe side because it gives the whip a more natural bend.

And has anybody tried using a EV-2 direct draw on a EQ?

ZeEq2ju.jpg

Almost like a LSV transfer wand but 1/2 the price and smaller.

I see no reason a whip could fit around the end of one of these. They do not have a "Mariah" like the SSV wand does so airflow might be even better?

These would turn the EQ into a really efficient machine. You could use less than the Solo holds.

I got to use ELBs last night. I put some kief on my bud, filled an ELB with it and boy was I surprised. Not that efficiency is that much better, but the convinience. I pack a "bullet", vape, when I''m done with that material I swap it with another "round".

I'm not sure if ELBs add in any actual turbulence, they are handy!

It arrived last night in perfect condition, bubbled wrapped like crazy from DreamHerbs.com.au
Me and some friends had a drink and tried it out at a few different temperatures with Damiana, Blue Lotus and some catnip.
We found that not a lot of the capour was visible which is a strange transition to get used to, but the effects of things like Damiana were AMAZING. 10x better than having it in a tea, the flavours were so full and tasty, made my whole mouth tingle. The effect was incredibly relaxing and opened up my headspace a lot. More clarity and relaxation.

Overall i am loving the vape immensely, although theres still a lot to learn.

Hey guys. Been a long time viewer of the site, but never registered until today. Anyways, I've had the Arizer whip-style vape for roughly a year now. To my dismay when I changed the screens today, I realized how stupid I've been. I have had the bowl in upside down, rubber nearest to the heating element.... I fear this has done some damage to my lungs. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas regarding this? Anybody make the same mistake?

Im sure it's fine.. Was the rubber melted?
My vape is spacing me out the last 2 days.. I've been vaping damiana and it really clears my head but makes me so sleepy and heavy eyelids. Lovely feeling and wonderful device
