Help, my PD has started to split in the middle in the top cylinder portion where the metal stems sits. The wood seems to be splitting after only three days, any advice on how to fix this? It's a couple of hairline cracks now, but i worried it may get worse. 
Contact Tom. This is a warranty issue.... We can't fix your cracks here! Hey there, I made an order for the Purple-Days back on March 6th (back then, the website said 8-14 weeks wait time). This was the only place on the web I could find updated information on the availability and wait times. I just wanted to inquire about the status, since I don't see my name up on that list that keeps being updated. The order number is 4278, and it's coming up north to Canada.

BUT that won't do anything to get it here faster.
I've been waiting 6 months for mine.
AND It's getting sold as soon as it arrives.
I have to much animosity towards this product and it's manufacturers to keep it around.

So do you know what's going on with my order? Out of curiosity, if you're not affiliated with either manufacturer or distributor, how do you get this information? I'd ask VapeNow, but they have that rule about not being able to ask.

maureen, i compiled the list from order information that people on the wait list posted to this thread. i make additions and subtractions as the thread receives updates.
i have no idea what goes on with orders. i'm guessing that since you are in canada and also many u.s. people that ordered before you are still waiting that your order is still quite some time off. i suggest e-mailing vapenow anyways. and report back here to let us know how it goes.

30 PDs went out to VapeNow last week. 60 PDs are coming back from the laser man in the morning, they must be bored and lots of metalwork and assembly etc..., but those should put us within striking distance of the end of the list. A handful after that. Then onward ! No waiting lists...
As always the option to get out and get a full refund is there for those on the list. No hassle, let the folks at VapeNow.com know.

I've been lurking in this thread, and it sounds like an awesome vaporizer. I just didn't want to be on a waiting list, so I've been patiently watching for the time when there would be no waiting list. 
I love companies like this, and I think they always do the best work because they care more than big corporations. That's just my opinion, and personal experience, though.

I just checked vapenow order status and found out that my PD has been approved for shipping, though I have yet to receive an email notification. Now if it'll only get here before I go on vacation this weekend...
when it does get here, i'll have to reward myself for having such patience. i'll be sure to report back after reaping the benefits of said reward!

I guess I better switch over to the "PD tips and tricks" forum. I was using a Vapir 1, but it was using up herb much to fast so I went back to the bong and orderd the PD in January. Herb is $350 to $410 a lid in my area. I paid $12 in 1969, herb is way out of line with inflation. I paid $1800 for a VW beetle in 1969, that would be like paying $61,500 for a VW beetle and $11 for a gallon of gas!
Has anyone ever tried kalabati breathing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L095tXLqRc&feature=relatedwhile toking? It is a long slow inhalation filling the lungs to about 75% of capacity and then a short, forceful exhalation using the diaphragm and short passive inhalation when the diaphragm is relaxed. These short breaths are repeated rapidly upto 1 or 2 breaths per second. This causes any vapor in the lungs to circulate in the lungs and make more conact with the lining of the lungs and more vapor being transmitted by osmosis to the blood. The results have to be experienced to believe. There are many yoga breathing techniques (pranayama) and they should be learned from a competent instructor.
