@THC SCIENTIFIC when I got my persei herc combo I thought the threads felt a bit wrong. It always was tilted towards a side when on and would break free with the slightest pressure. The kiss I have threads fine. Is it possible to get a new threaded bottom for the sr-74? Thanks.

possible to show me an image of the herc screwed on to the top? Also i would need you to submit a ticket on the site for us to get you up and running 100%.

I can if it's a must. But that would require me to remove the Teflon thread tape I had to use in order for it to stay on and properly work. Which wouldn't be a problem but I used it all up over the last few weeks on the herc. Which is why I come to you now.

I don't have enough oil to fill a buffer and then some, and the titanium cup didn't work out.

So here is my ceramic cup bufferless setup. A 15% ss coil, and the ceramic cup pulled from a cloud tornado atomizer. No buffer, and a chunk of shatter about 3x too big for the KISS cart seemed to work amazingly well.

I haven't hit a properly filled herc, but this is definitely better than a coil setup.
Sr-71 7.4v btw

I just tried this, except I took the ceramic bowl out of a kiss cart and CAREFULLY chipped out the center with a eyeglass screwdriver. I put a fat lemon haze moonrock on there and BOOM!!! Instant cloud city!! No real technique mastering or whispy hits. I also put my bottom soaked coil on top of the ceramic bowl too. My hope is that as the center load melts down into the dry coil while the top soak will drip down into the ceramic bowl/ rod tip. Im hoping then I can rotate coils. We'll see how it goes! It sounds good in theory. I'll report back with more results/tweeks. Especially after I get my Frankenstein herceanos combo more proficient.

The ceramic I had was crazy hard. I tried chipping it and it dulled my screwdriver! I had to use a tiny diamond coated grinding bit.

Yes we would need a picture so that we can see for ourselves what the issue is and for us to document the shipment of a part out.

@THC SCIENTIFIC and anyone in this thread...Any plans for the 710 Cup in Denver??

I wish we could go but at this time it isnt possible.

After many days of testing the new Persei tops I must say the only flaw we found was the button is super sensative.

Let's hear some feedback on its looks and what would you guys want to be encorporated in it.

This is a prototype unit so please don't worry about the looks.

Five click on/off, 4 clicks and hold for 3 sec for hammer style on, click again to turn off. Make it blink in the Hammer mode so you don't forget its on. I like the way the V3 button looks, but I wish It didn't recess so far in when you push it.

I don't know.. I like simplicity. I would prefer separate tops for hammer mode (like the current system).

Already has the 5 tap on/off feature.

Ps this button doesn't move or is not pressed at all. It is simply touched.

Reason why I made the statement of it being sensitive.

Will we be able to buy just the top if we wanted to upgrade? or am I going to have to buy a whole new kit to get this top?

Ohh I like! I was gonna say I was a little disappointed there's no push button like the V3 had but I like the touch idea a lot! As long as it has the on-off I don't see sensitivity being an issue

Yes it does have a on/off feature that's for sure. One thing we are maybe thinking of doing is making the button a little bit smaller since during my testing and a few others the only issue we came across is even if you touch the edge of the button, this thing fires off.

I'm thinking about trying out the KISS cart and was wondering which voltage version I should go with. Also wondering if people would recommend me grabbing it.

This is probably answered in here somewhere, but I don't have time to search through all the posts.

Thanks for any and all advice.

Follow Caligula's advise on the 3.7v being the first one you use.. I thought you were @ataxian for a minute with that profile pic..

cool thank you. i used to post here a few years ago but left for awhile. thanks for the advice. i kind of just thought the 7.4v would be better cuz that would save battery life, but maybe i'm mistaken on that.

do these things burn out quickly?
