For MD, $140 would be a great price, but their system is a pain, so at it's current price, I'd rather order it on ebay and get it right away.
I love my Solo, I just want it to work the same every time.
I've tried a super slow draw, but if it's not working, then it's not working no matter what.
I don't want to fill the forums with my problems- I'm taking that the amount of water in the WT isn't an issue, so if it's just above the holes or just below, shouldn't matter, and that's what I came to find out.

Adjust the water level and test it without the SOLO first.
Once you get bubble action were you like it your ready to go.
The curing of your flowers is very important.
The moisture level can fluctuate.
62.5% should be the moisture level to keep at a constant. BOVIVA HUMIDITY PACKS 62.5% type are best for controlling the moisture. 8gram pack for 30gram jar. ebay has them if you can't find them. My SOLO I set at level 4 wet or dry. Sometimes level 3 dry.

It is possible the stem you have fits nearly flat against the oven and isn't allowing for adequate airflow.
I have a couple of nearly flat stems that either need to be lifted or rotated just right to allow for proper airflow and uniform results.
Have you experienced the problem with multiple stems?
Next time you are experiencing the problem try lifting the stem a CM or so while hitting it.
If vapor production returns to normal it is likely the way the stem fits against the oven bottom.

Would a higher moister level produce more or less vapor?
We always put it through the GonG and through either the D020 or the Planet Vape/Pinnacle WT, I've never tried the base stems- so I'll have to try those and see if it makes any improvement.

It needs to be rotated perfectly or lifted a bit or nearly no air gets through the unit.
If the airflow tightens up to a milkshake-like draw during the times you don't get optimal results it is likely the stem fit.
I've found lifting the Solo a tiny bit during the hits is the best solution or me.

I see what you are saying, the GonG fits right to the heater- I'll pull it back some. I have an o ring in there- any affect from that?

Is your gong the one with the slits or stock one? If it has slits then I don't think airflow would be your problem since it simulates you lifting the stem

It has the small slits on the bottom.
I'm going to try to open up my product for a little to try to dry it out. I had a small humidity bulb in the CVault, and I'm thinking it is getting everything to moist and that's affecting vapor production.

That's very possible. Grind a small amount and leave it out to dry

I always take some herb out of my CVault a couple days before I grind it up and use it.
I'm really loving my new Solo a lot. It's so powerful and I like it even more with Ed's stem. I'm really glad I bought it.

You've had the Solo for 6 months now .
Let's talk maintenance ,
Do you use screens ? They get clogged and need to be cleaned .
Have you ever cleaned the oven chamber ? Resin stains can
prevent proper heating of your load .
Do you use it on level 7 , and you still can't get clouds ?
And with a small chamber bubbler like the DO2O , you should
be able to extract big dense clouds .
Or it may be time to exercise your warranty .

I find that scraping the inside of the solo with a broken flat razor blade is the best way to get off the deposit, i can make a solo look like new inside, think shinny metal with this tech.
I actually just emailed Randy at PIU about this deal and he honored the price I told him I found the Solo for ($135 on Ebay) without requiring me to email him the advertisement. He included the free grinder and shipping every Solo comes with, and threw in some screens too. Very cool, super fast email replies. So my Solo is on the way, I'm looking forward to getting my little hands on this bad boy and vaping it up.
Wow that randy dude doubled his price on those replacement batteries overnight! Still without replenishing stock! Must have seen the conversation here. Still though, seems douchey to me. I'd rather just buy another solo for $134.99 than a battery for $45 plus shipping.
