I got my portable package delivered to Ireland from vapornation in 5 days for like 370 euro. Didn't even have to pay customs, I assume its because the package had Spain as the country of origin. I was going to order from Hermes but they didn't have the portable in stock.

Does anyone know if its ok to load straight into the heating chamber without the basket or will it damage it.

My Feedback about my MV upgrade after some weeks of use, it definitly produces a darker abv with all settings than the previous version (I can see the color difference in my abv box without any doubt), the vapor comes more quickly but it's still a true convection vape so you need to take long and deep draws.

The 20mn timer is more comfortable than 10mn especially for wall adaptater users like me.

I'm really happy with it (there is no more bugs actually!)

I am also very pleased with the results with my new MiniVap. Have you worked out yet what the power led colours actually mean on this latest version. On mine it is occasionally blue (when just switched on) but never stays blue for long. If the battery is well charged it goes to green but then transitions directly to red when it starts to get low. No intermediate colour.

Battery life seems great so no complaints just confussed.

I tried mailing MiniVap but no answer. It's a pity their customer service lets them down so much.

I can't give you any answer about colors leds on the battery since I own the single version (without battery and portability).

About Minivap's answer, let them times they will answer you perhaps not quickly but they do it!

I am using the little baskets. After a couple of weeks everything is still very clean which is an advantage.
I use one of the silicon (soft) cones and clip the basket directly into the cone. I also have a screen inside the cone to ensure no bits fly up into my mouth.
For the screen inside the cone I would prefer ones with a nice metal rim not to damage the cone. Any idea's where you can get those sort of screens? I have searched but with no success.

15% coupon. I also got a 4 piece clear top grinder and a Vaporicer free. Ohh and 10% store credit. Great deal I have to say.

I know its cleaner to use the basket but i just find it easier to put it straight in and dump it out. Will it damage it from doing it?

Hi guys, long time no see.
Upgraded miniVAP?
Did they upgrade the firmware or what else?
My battery is gone, is it safe to order from the company?
I also mailed them and got no response about my issue.
I use it plugged in, but I would like to buy the AC adapter at least.

From what I have heard there customer service is pretty slow. Just keep badgering them and you'll get hold of them. When I was looking on their site a few weeks ago they didn't have batteries in stock so check they have it first but I'd say its safe enough.

Toolbox,
I seem to use mine most on red setting I just don't like any other setting I'm used to smoking big bowls so think I'm chasing clouds every time , what setting do all you guys use the most ?

Keep the hit as long as you can in your lungs.
All the vapor you exhale is wasted so keep it as long as you can.
Smoke takes less. And also the stone builds completely after a minute or 2 from the hit, so you could be guessing you didn't get stoned.

miniVAP and water????

Hi, I love my mVAP and had never considered running it thru water UNTIL a coffee shop in Amsterdam had der Verdamper and that was mighty smooth and tasty.

I'm total newbie on glass so don't know proper terms or anything.
What would be the most basic, inexpensive, compact, easy to use setup with mV?
Any video or pics of said unit with a mV?

Do all require unit to go upside down into glass?

Any help on equipment and/or your experience with water/ is it worth the bother, etc
greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks

FYI, I have the big battery bottom portable AND the 110 V plug-in puck, if that makes for more options

My last setup is the easier for me to use with watertools, i use a small piece (4cm) of large tubing (inside diameter is 9mm), one part is connected to the MV and the other fit in a 18/14mm reducer which fit all my 18mm watertools, it's easy to use you connect your MV inverted to the silicon connector to take a it and you remove the MV to clear (it don't stay in place alone, you need to take it with one of your hands).

Yesterday I was stoned(too much dab) cause I thought my MV wasn't work right and I was afraid to need to send it to Minivap CS, but today I done testing and it works like a beast, I think there is lot of moisture actually and the MV can't handle very well moisturized buds (as many vapes except the HA) that's why I have issues to get a brown abv....

Come back to water filtration, you can look at rogerD video cause he uses a different setup without the cap, perhaps you prefer it....

PPN,
is Roger D the "Vapefeind" or the "Vape Critic"? Is that video in this thread?
Or is there a link please?
Thanks

He's not one of those guys.
IIRC Vapecritic is registered here with the same name.
Roger D has his YT channel and doesn't like to show himself so much, just vapor from his many glass pieces.

I'm going to need detailed instructions and probably pictures before I manage to get mine connected to my glass :D

Vapefiend told me some people use the magic flight box whip to connect MV to glass , I haven't seen it working or found anyone who does it this way

You can simply put the loaded silicone cone on a 14mm female opening, it works directly.

I use a piece of 14mm white tubing to keep it in place but it's optional. I have requested more of this tubing many times from minivap but they don't have any more of it and they don't seem to plan on re stock. Maybe if more of you guys ask for it they will consider to provide a solution for a solid connection.

@MinnBobber Here is my channel https://www.youtube.com/user/medicateveryday

The minivap is incredible with glass, I almost don't use it dry. You can use any kind of glass you like with an adapter to 14mm female and it's better with a good percolator and medium volume in my experience.

Yes it is that adapter. The mv is fantastic with the matrix ;) Taste and smoothness !

You will be able to use it but it's going to be even better if you find something to attach the cone to the adapter so it's in one piece like a slide bowl. Many pieces of silicon can help you do that.

To clean I use a little bit of alcohol and a piece of cotton tissue to wipe the sticky stuff.

Thanks Roger D. Just used my new glass with the silicone cone in the way you suggested. What a result! I have a small simple ELHE bong (bent ball). Now even my wife can get enough vapor in one pull to satisfy those "smoke" cravings. The extra cooling means I can take in more in one go and it's much easier to pull on a bong than through a thin whip or mouthpiece.

I was already very happy with the Mini Vap but in combination with a 59 euro piece of glass the results are enough to satisfy the majority of cloud chasers and (ex) smokers.
