I considered the vapormax the BIC lighters of vaporizers.
Finally! A cheap, great working vaporizer.
One that you don't have to constantly be fragile with or overly concerned.
It's cheap, works great, if it breaks, throw away and buy a new one......why ruin that?

I checked my vendor, they are $63 a piece, if you buy ten!!!!! Or 1 for $139! WTF is really going on!

As i recall i came to FC 3 years ago in order to get informed, so if it were all about trophy display i'd just pick anything the store employee has to hand out, but somehow i suspect this wouldn't be a hit on my 1st try, not even the one after, and after...

Ultimately (after 25 months) i realized it wasn't even what i really needed when i decided to buy an HA, after 3 long months of agonizing forum search - and even IRC chat for that matter! Boy, was that worth a salary or what?!... I'm not bashing it, i'm stating a fact that although i don't regret my buyer decision it's clear that was a poor choice - though i didn't know my own needs myself at the time and now i do - and that's what the HA assisted me with exactly.

At the moment i'm curious to know how you feel about these considerations yourself, HillaryClinton.



But what should we take risks for? I tried and failed, not because the unit isn't up to specifications, no! That's because my HA didn't suit MY needs including serenity, among a few other items; a feature which i consider highly incomptatible with lotery and/or gambling as i don't like to play money games.

If at least the manufacturer had politely offered to pay me to become a Beta tester of this brand-new device! Ha! Ha!



Too bad if that's not an appropriate niche for me, other enthousiast members will want to line up i'm sure and i wish them well! All i know is that this particular product would threaten my sensation of serenity as presently conceived, actually i've seen too much of this already.

Well, i certainly know what i don't want anyway! That i can tell without a risk...

This one on alibaba still has the old price and a search yields over 4000 results with a lot still on the low price and no bulk purchase requirements. They even list as low as $38 a piece, maybe we could buy a lot of 20 (or more) for FC members and get super discounts? (well obviously we would have to put some trust on the kind soul accepting to be the "middle man"...)

Did I miss a post showing or describing the vapor path? I've been waiting for that either from the manufacturer (denied!) or from @Vape Dr. 's tear down. Please tell me why it's fine since I must have missed it earlier. I think the vapor path investigation is one of the most important things that gets done on fc, and it will become even more important as cheap, gas station type vapes like this one get released.

Regarding price changes...this is normal for Chinese knock-offs/cheap imitations. Look at the DHGate bubblers. They all start out at $7 to $15 and then get raised when one of them is a hit. The DH20 (is that it?) has more than doubled in price since its release and success both there and on this forum. The Chinese do a lot of things very differently from us, and one of them is market pricing. Americans like to back into the price from a cost/profit perspective to check for viability. That's how you get a $250 Pax that is no more sophisticated than this vape. The Chinese like to throw a bunch of stuff at the wall to see what sticks in the market. They usually start at the low end to see what people like and raise the price form there to find the best price point. That's how you end up with a vape like this for $65 that is no less sophisticated than the Pax. But the price was always going to go up, and it will most likely come back down to a price the market will bear, just not back down to $65. I think $75 to $100 in a gas station is where it will ultimately end up, at which point I will always buy a Lotus.

I think they want these sold in America for more because they know they could be sold for more, they gave me a link to vapevetstore which sells them for 120, while maybe they just want me to read the description of it I don't think they would disagree with people trying to make that much profit. VST is also trying to peddle it for more than its worth.

They didn't mention increasing the prices I'm not going to sell them at unreasonable cost to make profit, I'm only interested in ensuring I can provide inexpensive fast shipping to the members in the states, sorry I wouldn't be able to do out of country sales, I don't want to be bothered by customs or customers with customs issues.

I doubt we will ever get the information we are looking for from the manufacturer's, it's not like they haven't had the opportunity, even when I initially posted that we want material list, they mention they read the rules, for some reason posted, and didn't include any helpful info in response

My first post on this site been reading about reviews since I'm new to smoking weed didn't like smoking joint as I've hoped tried it once didn't get high and tasted like burnt paper on my mouth so i bought a vaporizer Snoop Dogg Micro G herbal Vape which burnt the weed but hey didnt taste like burnt paper but the burnt taste is there but I got high. I usually only sleep 4 hours a day but man I slept 13hours straight after eating 1 small infused cupcake. I've always wanted to try MMJ but never had any connection since all my friends are all clean cuts and was never an outgoing person to begin with, so I went to 420 this year and man it was like buying a candy in Vancouver 420.

So after few search the only one that works are 120$+ up I'm a newbie here and don't really want to dump 200$ on vape that I might not even like. Here I found this Vape which you guys are praising and looked at the price tag at 60$.... Which I immediately searched google and found the price is doubled! like wtf!? I was ready to pull the trigger but now I'd rather wait for grasshopper or get arizer solo for 160$ + freebies.

Why increased the price of a perfectly affordable product I assume you still get profits by selling it at 60$-80$, Being greedy isn't a good business plan. 120$ for a vape that only has 1 heat setting and doesn't have any reputation to begin with (You probably wouldve gotten a good reputation by now if you stayed in 60-80$ price tag).... this wouldve been a good starter vape that is affordable.... 60$-80$ price tag its easy to buy and if in any instance i didn't like it I could just shelf it and not worry losing 60$-80$.

90% chance you would've stolen all those pen styled vaporizer that "claims" to vape flowers customer/market and possibly sell canister like attachment for concentrates and glass mouth piece instead of silicone.

Hey guys, I'm a bit confused... I'm tempted to buy one for the gf but I re-read the seller's alibaba page (Vnice) and they really present the product as if it came from their own factory. They also say they are open to OEM deals etc. Do you think this is already a copycat of the Smiss one? Are we even sure Smiss is really the original?

Could be that many factories already have access to the same molds...or they use the same suppliers but there are multiple assembly lines... With China it's very hard to know.

@Vape Dr. : here it's $50.5 for one unit, dunno about shipping rates yet. I know that some aliexpress vendors offer free shipping for many similar products...maybe we could keep searching? I'm affraid at some point it will be like the eCig scandals and we'll end up finding what we think is a bargain when in fact we would be buying a copy of a copy of copy, using the crappiest materials available etc... we're gambling with our health somehow...

Hey All!

Not new to the forum (or Vaping) but new to posting. I've used this forum as research to buy my first and second Vape. Both the units I have and used are home set-ups - so portable vaping is something new to me. I'm leaving for a one week fishing trip in June and would love to have one by then. I also don't want to spend alot of money incase it ends up in the drink! ;-)

Overall i do agree with you guys that the price raise is stupied and im sure that did have alot to do with the manufactuer or someone affiliated with the company spying on here,
However if we disregard our dissatisfaction of the
Price raise,
Is this not still a decent vape for 120 bucks?, i mean i see everyone comparing it to a solo price and saying that since its only a slight price difference that its much more worth it to grab a solo, but not everyone wants to stick a soda can in there pocket when there on the go, i see countless people on here saying that this beats the pax, and i think the pax is a very over priced product and i dont own one mainly because of that and the issues it has staying clean,
However if the pax were 120 bucks i probably would of bought one for shits and giggles,
I just dont think 120 is really breaking the bank, especially if its better than the pax and half the price,
I guess what im saying is even though the price has gone up and has us all upset, saying that it isent worth 100 dollars to me kind of gos against all the great reviews i was reading, i mean hell i bought a palm 2.0 back in the day for 70 and you would have to draw on that bitch for 35 seconds just to get a whispy hit, i just dont think the price raise is to crazy, companys do this shit all the time. in all honestly if the firewood had an on switch and heat settings instead of the button hold technique i would definitely rather have that but after reading what you guys have said about this FM i just really sounds like a simple, effective device, has anyone that has ordered off of ebay used anyother seller other than PMVena? I think thats who im going to go with since i saw another fc member metion that one in an earlier post.

I see your point, but an ~85% price increase is rather obnoxious, don't you think? Mine is scheduled for delivery today, I paid $71, hell I balked at paying $75 before I found the cheaper offer. I'll chime in later on if I think it's worth that or the new price. I've never used a solo, I will compare this to my Pinnacle Pro, at least one review here called the VV's clouds similar to the PnP.

The value of goods, value and money is completely subjective and personal, a large part of this vapes "perceived value" is the "deal" it used to be. Your price tolerance may be different than others. The cheap glass thread can be very educational, but of course, I can't recommend going in there.

Sorry, but this is not how percents work. 50% of 70 is 35 and would result on a total of 105.

Ahh i see i see my fault i was just looking at it in terms of just price increase rather than percentage i see what he means now.

For clarification, I was basing my % on price of $130 so $70 + $60 = ~85% increase, note I use the "~" to denote "approximately" to cover my arse.

I have mixed expectations for the FlowermateVV but looking forward to finding out more about it later today. Good reviews here, but someone already put theirs up for trade in the 'fieds as they prefer a higher temp vapor. I usually like higher temp too, so we'll see.

I bought a couple more of these for travel before the price increase. The seller swore they had Black and Silver ones in stock before i placed my order. Tuesday night i got an email and a text telling me they only had Blue ones in stock and would i like Blue lol. I told them to cancel my order. Lo and behold now they have Black and Silver back in stock . lets see what colors actually arrive

Hey I think a quick clarification is in order: I finally bought one unit from Vnice ($50.5+shipping) because gf's birthday is too soon for me to wait for the mass order here (but note that I'm still interrested for my other friends, although I live in Europe)

The order went super smooth, very nice seller. For the original manufacturer question, sorry if I had doubts in my post above (but with China you really need to question everything!), here's what he answered: "The original manufacturer is Smiss you are right, we are authorized distributor for them".

We then proceeded to a classic "off-site" paypal order and he even agreed to declare only $10 worth of goods for the customs (should lower my risks of getting extra import taxes)

So far so good!

120$ price tag is way to steep without any warranty or a vague warranty, sending it back to who knows where since its all over alibaba/dhgate. In the 120$ price tag you could get MFLB with lifetime warranty.

So the question is would you pay 120$ for a product without any warranty of some sort I think not but with a 60$ price tag I could just throw it away and forget about it.

Building reputation is a must for a company.... That is why you buy brand name stuff.

No name brand that suddenly increased the price to double in weeks without any reason vs highly respected brand thats been proven trustworthy.

that said I'm really interested trying this one out for my first vaporizer but will not pay more than 100$ since I'm lazy trying to learn how to use MFLB. I just want a vape that you put your herb in and draw.

@KeroZen where did you get yours? Also I've never really used paypal other than ebay so how does the transaction go?

Pretty sure the Firewood is on sale right now, have seen solos, Davinci, and iolites for around 100 before on buy.com and Ebay. Plenty of options besides the MFLB. Or you can wait for the Grasshopper or one of the other various easy portables that are bound to come out soon.

While I am waiting for my Ascent to arrive from Mass Drop, I was going to buy this product for $70. With the recent and rapid price rise I am going to keep looking for a backup Vape.

I know! When does the Grasshopper come out though? I searched it and it looked pretty awesome and easy to clean and that charging was wicked.

fwiw, I wouldn't buy this vape for more than $75. It's not that it isn't worth that when compared to a Pax, but there are other cheap options out there like the Lotus, mflb and the Vapor Genie. Don't get caught up in the hype that was built when this vape was $65 and run out and spend $120 on it. If it had started at $120 this thread would be about two pages long right now.
